Very frequent movie stop for us. Service has never failed us. The ticket price is right at the level I don't mind paying (and I always use Fandango). Snacks are priced high so I advise eating prior to going. Drinks -- depending on your desire -- is wide open in options. Water, juice, soda, and spirits (wine, beer, liquor). Haven't tried the spirits yet, so I'm unsure on those prices. Seating, and movie experience is a 3.5/4 star. I'm "loyal" and often in selecting this theater simply because the seats are SO COMFY! No need to rush to your favorite seat either. You have reserved seating! The only downside (seemingly continuous) is that some of the top movies don't get shown here. Which causes me to search out other theaters. This is the reason for a subpar score. Hopefully this improves over time. read more

There isnt much I can say about this amazing theater that has not already been said but I'll try anyway. The big leather recliners are its biggest attraction. The only issue I have with this theater is that it has assigned seats. I like the idea of buying my tickets and arriving early enough to choose my own seats; The old first come first serve. If you don't buy your tickets early enough you may be stuck sitting way up front and that's a bit uncomfortable. Parking is not a problem. There's a nearby parking garage that is very convenient. At the very least visit this theater if you want to see what all the hype is about. I doubt you'll be disappointed. read more

Ok....seats were super comfy and overall ambiance was nice....however....the bar service was absolutely ridiculous. 1 waited 15 mins for a can of beer with only 1 other customer at the bar....and to add insult to injury, the bartender had a crappy attitude....like I was an inconvenience...I just wanted my 9 dollar tallboy...definitely made my overall experience crap. I also love that the concessions stand goes lightning fast! Whenever I visit there always seems to be a lengthy line, but don't let it fool you, the workers behind the counter know what they are doing and are very efficient! Reserved seating! Great local craft beer! Popcorn popped on site and delicious! RECLINER, overstuffed leather seats!!!!! This Theater is absolutely the best in the Northern Virginia area and I could throw a tantrum when the movie I want to see isn't playing there. My only complaint is they leave the lights too bright when the movie is playing and you can't order more than one beer at a time (to get another beer you have to miss part of the movie). I purchased tickets to see Puss in Boots with my family and received the worst customer service experience I've ever had. We arrived right on time for our movie. The concession lines were long but that's to be expected just before a movie starts. What we didn't expect was waiting in line for 40 mins to get our drinks and popcorn. I asked to speak to a manager and Kevin (who waited on us) said that he was the manager. He did not offer any sympathy or apologies or any way of rectifying the situation. At this point we had missed at least the previews (which we planned on) but also missed the first 20 mins of the movie due to waiting in the concession lines. His response was "what do you want me to do about it? I had two people call in today." I suggested that he could at least give a discount on concessions to which he replied, "Managers can't do that." Not only was he rude and unsympathetic, he also practiced unsanitary food handling practices. My mother and I watched as he wiped his entire face with a paper towel and set it down next to the pretzels he was preparing, and then proceeded to run his fingers through his greasy hair as he was serving customers food. Rude employees at the box office on June 30 around 1700. we asked the employee question about handicap seating because those were the only ones that had seats together. When we asked more about it, she muted her mic and started complaining to her co-worker, who i also noticed was rude to another family. I get it- it's hot, busy, and people ask a lot of questions but how dare you mute your mic, ignore customers, and what i assume was trash talk to your co-worker. i won't be coming back to this theatre anymore. i'll trek over to Alexandria next time. read more

I'm more than a little disappointed in my experience tonight. My boyfriend and I came for a showing of Avengers Endgame tonight, with tickets that we purchased over a week ago. There had been a fire alarm earlier in the evening, and when we showed up at 8:30 our 9:00 movie we were told there was a half hour delay, due to the fire alarm. At this point, there was not problem, we purchased $30 worth of concessions, and we settled in at the bar in the lounge (and purchased $20 more for 2 beers) to wait for our movie. At 9:20 my boyfriend approached the ticket taker and was told to go to the guest services counter to double check when we should head to our seats. He was told that the movie would be starting at 9:45 sharp, with no previews. We walked to our seats at 9:40 to see that the movie was already over 40 minutes into it's play time (according the people sitting next to us). So we did go back to guest services, and we were offered a refund for our tickets, but not the unopened candy and water bottles we had purchased and wished to return. The lack of communication and apparent confusion of all the staff speaks directly to the mismanagement of this location. So to wrap up our experience, we paid $50 to sit in your lobby, drink 2 beers, and see 5 minutes in the middle of a movie that we've been eagerly waiting to watch. We left feeling disappointed and cheated. Thanks for a great date night, I got dressed up for this. read more

Okay, so they have the exciting new reclining chairs, yay... But that's all you're going to get out of me on positives. They don't have enough cashiers working the food stands - the line is always out of the little zig-zag line going towards the doors. AND it's incredibly dirty. We went there for a double header a weekend or so ago, and the first theater had popcorn STUCK TO THE SEATS... How does popcorn STICK to seats?! You could see how dirty the seats were just looking at them, but clearly no one had bothered to clean them in between showings. The second theater just looked like someone had poured soda on one of the chairs... and no one cleaned it up. We tried to ask the staff to clean them, but they ignored our requests saying they were too busy... Nope. I'll stick to Ballston, Shirlington, and Courthouse from now on. read more

OMG I don't think I will be watching movies anywhere else from now on. That's it, they have me as a customer for life! -Awesome bar -comfortable reclining lazy chairs -reserved seats -fair price - perfect for a for a first date or date night. One advice for the employees tho, they have to let people know seats are reseved and their seat number is on their tickets. I felt bad having to tell an older man that he was sitting on my seat, I wouldn't have minded sitting somewhere else but it was crowded and reserved the seat a week before online. I took my family of 8 to see Spiderman earlier tonight. We had to get seats in row B because all the ones further back had already sold. Once we arrived I realized why. If I had known exactly how close rows A and B are to the screen I would have passed on seeing the movie altogether. The chairs were comfortable and the theater was clean, but that's the best I can say. We watched all of the previews with the full house lights up. When I finally went out of the theater around 8:20ish (15 minutes into the previews of the 8:05 show) and told the man at guest services, I heard him radio for "ushers to check lights" which i thought would fix the problem. They did dim the lights some when the movie started, but there were still two whole rows of ceiling spot lights, one pointing straight down on my family throughout the movie that made for a less than excellent experience. After spending $100 for an evening out, it was very disappointing that even after being told there was a problem they did not get it right. I only hope that they normally make the theatres dark during movie showings, but for all I know this may be standard. Do not buy tickets in the front two rows... better to not go, imo. read more

Customer service is SUPER-B, the theatre is net, and the beverages/food prices is decent. However, the parking gets pretty pretty crazy. Although the mall is under renovation, this is a great place to come and enjoy a movie! The new chairs are a great hit!! The whole theater was looking a little empty but the recliners and seating was awesome. The parking is easy to get to and the actual theater is simple to find. I came here on Saturday afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all. This would be perfect for a date night or casual outing with friends. Looking forward to going back soon! Nice theater, but poorly run. Our first time there we spent 25 minutes in the concession line. Our second time there, we went on a Sunday morning, ordered our snacks, and as I presented my credit card for payment an employee approached to tell us they didn't open until 9:30am (ten minutes later). Seriously?! You wait until after my kids order their snacks to tell me -- and your colleague who just took my order -- you're not open?! I then asked what he wanted us to do and he said we should go back out of the theater, which we did. I then watched as others walked in and strode up to the concession stand just as I had done and then stood there confused as they were told the theater wasn't open. Why not put a sign outside that says you're not open yet or have one of the employees standing around stand out front to make sure guests don't enter the open doors?! Ridiculous and another indication of poor management. Three stars for the theater, but the staff needs better leadership and training. read more

My family and I love this movie theater and it is as good as it gets. No fighting for the best seats as you can reserve the exacts seats you prefer. The seats do feel like home with the leather recliner and attached TV trays. The seats are spaced wonderfully so you do not have to even sit close and rub elbows with the stranger next to you. However, their concession/bar food could be better. They are all frozen and nuked in the microwave for the usual choices of chicken tenders, waffle fries, etc. But I guess I can't expect for them to have a full time chef back there. I feel like I can due to the luxury seats. If you want luxury food, eat elsewhere before coming in to catch a flick. The bar itself is mediocre. They are trying for an adult ambiance in the theater but there aren't enough seats or space for that. They were better off using that space for other things. Although, I did hope to see Furious 7 here since it was noted on their Facebook page but they didn't list it at all for any showings? Inconsistency here is not acceptable especially when you are a fan of their seats! read more

Where do I even being: 1. Buy your tickets AHEAD of time. It's extremely helpful because you can reserve the perfect Seats ahead of time. And when you reserve your seats if you are a fandango member and can't make the movie you have up to two hours prior to the movie to get a refund back to your account or back in movie credit for the next time you purchase. 2. Like I said above... RESERVE your seats ahead of time. This theatre has amazing seating. Also if you're a tiny bit tired before your movie, then don't go! This theater is one of the few that offer lover's seat (sofa seat and you can lay back) with a regular ticket price. I always come here with my girlfriend to watch movies. Most of their theater is small, so beware to book your ticket ahead before it runs out of the seat. If not, just wait a couple weeks after opening and you should have available seats. They accept moviepass here, and they usually have the movies that I wanted to watch. Their food price is a little high just like any other movie theaters. read more

My husband and I love coming here. About 6 months ago, one time we went to a restaurant in Springfield, we decided to watch a movie nearby, so we found this movie theater online. This was the first movie theater I have been to have the leather couch, it was so comfortable and you can adjust the height for your leg. I used to go to the AMC in Potomac Mills, after came here, I had never went to that one anymore. Always a great place to see the latest movies. Staff is excellent. I have a wheelchair and usually go by myself and I can always get either a ticket taker or one of the security people to take me to the right theater ( inclines at entryway). Wonderful new movie theater! Of course the reclining chairs are our favorite! We like rows D or E , depending on the the theater room that is the row that comes right behind the handicap chairs , with the railing in front of you. I love that you can reserve your seats before hand. We have never had an issue with seating, and have visited dozens of times already. Come early to make time for the concession stand . You won't mind sitting and waiting in the comfy seats anyway! read more
