Service was great, the place was so clean. I went and saw the new live action Moana and it was phenomenal.

Look. I get the financial reasons behind switching this from a dine-in to counter pickup. I do not blame the wonderfully kind and hard working staff here. The system just doesn't work now, unless you show up 15-20 minutes early to your movie. The lines for concessions are not manned enough, causing long line waits, and after hot food is ordered, you have to wait 5-25 (my longest was actually 27) minutes to retrieve it at the counter. They took away online pre-ordering, which other AMC locations seem to still be able to do. Thus, cannot order ahead of time, thus, I don't get concessions unless i am comfortably early. If anything i'll just go to the bar and ask for a soda to skip the concessions line. I used to spend $20-30 each time I came here with a nice burger, fries, and soda, but now it doesn't even make sense to order the mid hot food (really the pretzel bites are the only thing worth writing home about anyway). I hope management takes the customer experience into account moving forward. This has gone from being my favorite AMC location to one of the biggest eye-rollers. read more

I came to this theater and ordered popcorn and a soda. I love popcorn but found myself not being able to make it thru 1/3 of the bucket. There was no ice available for the drinks and most machines didn't not have but a few drinks. So I decided on Coke Zero which was flat. I couldn't wait to leave and be done with this filthy place. Loved this experience so much! The wait for food was a bit long but service was nice. Was a bit sad they didn't have a bucket I had been hoping to get. The lighting and decor was nice though. Went here after having an anniversary dinner with my partner, this was the cherry on top!! Loved that we were able to get refills on some things, made it even more enjoyable! Movie was really good (the new Scream movie) and seats were very comfy. Will be returning again soon in early Aug to celebrate me going back to my Jr year of college! My family and I have come to this theater for over a decade. We returned after being away for a few months and the entire place has simply gone down hill. They no longer do theater dining and the food choices are now limited to the basic pre frozen options. Guess it's time we find a new location. read more

I went to AMC Theater on December 3 at 5pm to see Chainsaw Man. I am an A-List member and used the order-ahead option to purchase a gourmet caramel popcorn (order #0120343742). When I arrived at the theater, the popcorn was not available. I was told that because the movie had already started, the refund could be done after the movie. It was late and I had my child with me, so I forgot to stop by the counter afterward. I returned on December 6 at 4pm to see Five Nights at Freddy's 2 (confirmation #0333261759). I explained the situation at the counter and asked if I could receive the popcorn this time instead of a refund. I was told no and that the refund had to be done through the app, which was not explained to me during my first visit. The manager (Black lady with red hair) then came over and spoke to me rudely, as if she didn't understand how I did not receive the popcorn when I ordered it. I explained that I ordered through the app, but she repeated that I had to do the refund through the app -- even though there is no option in the app to do this. The overall experience was frustrating, and the lack of clear communication and customer service was disappointing. read more

Several weeks ago, the delivery of food by runners to the theaters was discontinued. Currently, customers are required to collect their orders at the counter. Additionally, the menu has been downsized. The convenience of ordering and going to your assigned theater is no more. read more

This theater is always a hit and miss on which screening room you are going to get. This by far was the most trashiest run down room available. It's a laser screen so we assumed it would be in one of the newer nicer rooms but NOPE. The food is pretty decent and so are the drinks but that doesn't make up for the experience. However, VIP line went quick, ane I got a free upgrade on my drink due to being a premier member which I have yet to get at AMC Northpark even tho I always do a medium drink...so this was extra sweet. Came back here one year later and its still as gross as ever. People literally hotbox the theatre and it ends up stinking like bad breath and raspberry..These people sitting next to us were just chewing and chewing like the food was gonna run away. My chair had a hole in it so you need to fix it and i saw a cockroach on the screen , And they need to make more fat friendly seats for the people that were sitting next to me. read more

We hadn't been to the movies is quite awhile and should have stayed away. It wasn't clear if we needed to place an order in our theater, concession stand, or the bar/kitchen. We asked an employee she was obviously annoyed by our question. Turns out we had to order at different locations depending on what we wanted. After ordering an icee, out of the 6 different dispensers only 1 was actually dispensing any product and it was void of flavor. Just blue ice. The nachos were stale with cold cheese and half a cup of jalapeños, for $18. We walked into our theater and it hadn't been cleaned. The chairs were old and sticky, trash in the floor. It was flat out disgusting. We didn't even stay to get the pizza we ordered much less watch the movie. Just a waste of $70-80. Definitely will not set foot in an AMC again. I'm done with movies and AMC in particular. A prior location recently was nasty, no way to dry hands, and water fountains didn't work. The floor in the lobby was sticky's soon as we walked in. My reserved seat had a puddle of sticky goo on it. This was a dine in and my daughter's reserved seat had no tray. Dine in? I assumed we could order from our seats. Nope, you have to go back to the concession stand and order there. They give you some of the items and others are delivered. Prices? Not posted anywhere. How is this even legal? Snacks were over $85 and my soft drink was watery. Never, never, never again. ** Geez ** Just tried the fries that came with the quesadilla. They're cold and stale. First off- the pros: the sound and picture quality is fantastic. The seats are super comfortable. Cons- Be prepared to wait an hour or more for your food. We decided to skip food because of this. We went to the bar to get a couple of drinks instead. And we still had to wait 20 minutes for those. They seem extremely understaffed. Do yourself a favor and go to Strike and Reel or Alamo instead. read more

We ordered our food ahead of time and we waited 30 minutes for a burger and mac and cheese. The burger could not be accommodated for a gluten allergy. I asked for no bun and extra lettuce to substitute. Since there wasn't a button they couldn't accommodate. We find our theatre and immediately when you walk in there is a horrible smell. It lingered throughout the whole movie. The seating was gross and it was dingy. Lastly, when we got our food, we asked the server for 2 forks, 15 mins later an forkless, I went and got forks myself. Yesterday I drove an hour to visit AMC 30 in mesquite TX to watch Scream 6 in 3d. When the previews started in 3D the screen was blurry and the 3D effect wasn't working... (Yes I had my glasses on). The projector wasn't properly calibrated. I contacted theater staff (4 people sitting at a desk doing nothing). I alerted them of the situation. They said they would send somebody... By the time the movie started nothing was done. I didn't spend 30 dollars for a movie I'd been waiting to watch for a year, just to stare at a blurry screen. I'll never attend another movie at AMC again. Is this how you treat all your customers?!? Maybe Nicole Kidman was right- heartbreak never felt so good in a place like this. It's just a regular movie theater. It says dine in but there are no tables when you're watching you're pretty much eating in your lap whatever you ordered. Also you order as you come in at the same place you get your popcorn at the front and then you go sit down and they bring it to you eventually. The seats are very uncomfortable they are stuck in on position stiff. The popcorn is nice. My first time here and I'll probably not be coming back. read more

8/20/22: We went to see The Orphan at 7:30pm. Bought the tickets through the AMC app. The soft drink area was very dirty. There was ice overflowing in the dispensers and the floors and mats were very sticky. Popcorn was not fresh, and there didn't appear to be any fresh popcorn available or popping. There were many teenagers hanging out outside and in the lobby area. The movie theatre was great, and the seating was very comfortable. The volume could have been louder, similar to the previews. We didn't take advantage of the dine in service, but will check it out on our next visit. I don't believe the menu prices are online. read more

Normally go to Cinemark theaters. Went to AMC Mesquite 30 for the first time in years. Here are the reasons I'll never go back: 1. Way more expensive. $55 for concessions ($7+ for MEDIUM ICEE). For the same things at Cinemark, it was only $38 ($6 for a LARGE ICEE). And that was before my movie club discount. 2. Only 2 lines open at concessions with like 15 people in line waiting. There were at least 2 employees behind the counter doing nothing but getting food for the other 2. Extremely slow service. 3. No reclining or heated seats like at the Cinemark theaters I usually go to. 4. Too dark in the theater. Couldn't see the seat numbers without turning on my phone light. Never have any problem seeing them at Cinemark. 5. Wasn't very clean. Kinda sticky. Ew. Additionally, as a member of Cinemark's movie club, I pay $12 a month and get 20% at concessions. AMC Stubs Premiere membership is $20 a month and you get $10 off at concessions. read more

We enjoy this theater for its reclining and heated seats. However, the last time we bought tickets online it stated we were getting a theater with those particular seats and it ended up being a regular theater. Disappointed, but not really the theaters fault. They have dine in as well. A little pricey as to be expected but the food is decent. I mean, it's a movie theater not a Michelin star restaurant, right? There is a bar inside for the adults and of course a well stocked concession area. I genuine can't believe I made the mistake of buying a ticket here again. I was in the area for an appointment and wanted lunch and a movie. Here I am sitting in an iMax theater with a blank screen for a movie that should have started half an hour ago. Last time this mistake happens. Oh, and A+ staff. The two people behind the food counter were leaned over on their phones. The guy at the bar was on their phone. This one kid poorly hiding behind a corner was on their phone. I enjoyed the movie the people who work there was very nice and respectful however this place is straight ghetto inside the theater we would never see anything like this in our Michigan movie theaters NEVER!
