This had a bright green color, because there was a lot of mint in this. It was about the freshest one ever. The salads are the typical looking stuff. It's about $5 for a small container. The Fruit Salad is among the few vegetarian choices to get. A lot of the other ones are meaty like chicken. There's also typical deli sandwiches like subs. Get lots of classic items found in a deli. One hungover morning selling at the Silverlake Flea market I wandered into this place looking for breakfast burritos for me and my best-friend. I was welcomed by a huge smile, and the nicest owner. I was super picky about my burrito and he remained extremely patient with me. The place was super cute inside! I drank a coffee in a cute little mug with latte art while I waited for my burrito. I called it in and a lady answer the phone, it was a big order and she didn't miss anything. Told me to come by in 25 mins and it will be ready. As I walked in, it's a small joint. I was greeted right away, told the lady from the counter my name and I'm here for pick up. She said "okay it's coming up". 20 mins later I was walking out with the sandwiches, it took longer than expected but it's okay I'm not in a rush. Food was fine, as expected although over priced. Service was less than average. We were there on a Sunday. The first thing I noticed was the open sign wasn't on, so I didn't even think the place was open. Luckily they were and probably because the sign was off, only one other person came in for a take-out order in the hour we were there. We asked to use the restroom as soon as we got there so our 2year old could use it and we're told they're cleaning it. An hour later we asked again and again we're told they're still cleaning "they like to take their time." It was suggested we try the gas station or pizza shop down the street. Mind you all of this was begin told to us while the woman running the front was watching a show on her phone. We ordered a pastrami on rye. Incredible. They also have fantastic smoothies. We had peanut butter with banana. It was great. The owner came out to talk with us and ended up joining us. I worked in the same building as Reggie's and it was also a go to. 9.8/10 Super sweet and caring staff. Always started conversations and helped when I couldn't decide on what to get. Their menu is/was HUGE and felt very home like for a deli. They had Juices, sandwiches, soups, salads etc. My go to was their green juice and their breakfast sandwich combo which came with a side of fruit. (The sauce that came with it was soooo goood). I ran into Reggie one day in DTLA, he was personally doing deliveries and came into my building and gave me a flyer and told me to check it out. It took me a while to get here and when I finally tired it I just thought to myself how long overdue it was. Layers upon layers of great stuff Everything was excellent and freshly made with great flavor. The club sandwich and the burrito was great and the man knows how to make a great pastrami. When I go to a sandwich shop I look for how good their club is and how good the pastrami is and those two are definite hits and then he throws in one incredibly stuffed veggie burrito which is A OK! It's a simple place with a simple decor that largely serves and services the tenants of the large office building and neighbors of Los Feliz and Echo Park. What's not so simple is the food which is a whole notch above the type you typically find in these kind of places. The menu is large with a variety of sandwiches, salads, smoothies, and burritos. On this, my first time patronizing the place, I order the Veggie Burrito and a black coffee. The coffee is fine and, at $4.50, I'm happy with it because they allow refills. But it's the burrito I'm still thinking of-- served piping hot, full of fresh veggies, potatoes and eggs, doused in their homemade chipotle crema sauce, it is delicious and filling! I live in Hollywood some 5 miles away but man I'm in the mood for a repeat performance of this... so savory and good. The salami and swiss sandwich that I ordered was just okay not special. I was thrown off by the way the menu was arranged it was not easy to read. I ended up trying the lunch combo which was $18 pretty steep in my opinion for half a sandwich and a medium tray of Caesar salad. The first bite I took made me notice that the bread was quite hard. As I continued to eat it, the contents were sliding out. I had also ordered a smoothie and was deciding between a lemon mint and a blueberry pineapple coconut. When I asked the worker what was better they didn't really offer much advice, not to mention many blank stares. I ended up getting blueberry pineapple coconut and that was quite good.
