Buyer Beware! I was going to go back to buy another car they have that I wanted, but NOT after this time! Typical shady used car lot you hear about and we should have known better! They added fees saying it was required, the salesman Noe said that the car couldnt pass DEQ because of the tire sensors but if the light didn't turn off they would replace them, I told that doesn't make any sense, so we had the car inspected at dealership and they are in-fact bad, dealership confirmed what I said that he doesn't know what he's talking about. We reached out to Noe a couple times and got no helpful response. One of the front wipers flew off when it rained a couple weeks ago while driving on the highway, we reached out several times and nothing. We were promised other services by the sales manager Ram and again nothing helpful! At least the car Mechanically passed a dealership inspection! Just look closely at the shoddy cover up work and definitely get it inspected! read more

We just had something very similar to what River S. experienced last November: We scheduled an independent inspection for today Monday after test drive on Friday. Almost put a deposit on it, but it was non-fundable unless he talked to the owner for a special deal. We did leave with a verbal agreement that we would take it Monday to be inspected by our trusted mechanic (of course after signing additional paperwork Monday) Called today, Monday, to verify that it was still for sale, got there (after having a hard time finding a place to park) and was then told someone else had put a deposit on it. Very sketchy dealership. I went to buy a GS 350 from them and had everything in place but wanted to get it 3rd party inspected but they were asking for $500 down before so. I then asked them to just do a few very simple mechanical checks on their own like sending a video of the car running and all the sudden "someone" had put a down payment down within 2 hours of him asking me to wire the money. We were set on buying the car on Wednesday and after Thanksgiving on that Thursday we'd buy it in full. Don't trust this dealership whatsoever. read more

I was looking for a 2014 Mercedes Benz ML 350, searching for this model with low milage and in excellent condition on CARGURUS in the San Francisco and the Bay Area, California, and beyond; and found one in excellent condition at PDX Motorcars, Beaverton Oregon. Freddy, the dealership's salesperson who help me on this vehicle, did a great job taking and providing additional photos and describing the condition of the paint and defects, interior, mechanical, electrical, brakes, type of shocks, tires including the spare tire and number of keys for the car. He convinced me the car was in excellent condition. Hugo, the office manager, did an excellent job negotiating the price over the phone and providing a Bill of Sale indicating the price and fees associated with its purchase. There were no hidden fees. The dealership dropped the price by $2000. Hugo was very easy to negotiate with and gave me the price I was willing to pay; therefore, I decided to buy it. Sam, the owner, made sure I received the certificate of title and the secure odometer disclosure document for the registration of the vehicle with the California Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV). The documents were mailed with secure mail. I completed the deal and registered my car with the DMW in 8 days from the date of purchase. They made the process smooth and easy, and were prompt on delivering the necessary documents. The staff is very professional, and provides excellent customer service. Been car searching all month, and that is exhausting. I was being very particular about getting a used manual SUV. I made an appointment online to test drive a car at PDX Motorcars. The morning of Freddy called me to confirm. I returned the call and ended up talking to the owner Sam. Later that day when I came to test drive it felt like a scene from cheers and everyone knew my name and was excited to see me walk in. The car I came to test drive unfortunately was not the one for me. Sam the owner I think saw it in my eyes and showed me a newer model, with a few more miles but for less! Took her for a spin and fell in love. I was preapproved for a loan at my credit union. Sam helped me find a lower interest rate and worked with me. This being the first time financing a car it's a big decision so I slept on it overnight. I've always bought beaters with cash in the past, this being the first time I have ever bought from a car dealership and first time financing a vehicle. I purchased the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica on 7/8/25 from you guys. That evening I discovered evidence of a rodent that had been living under the hood and had chewed holes and the filter was filled with debris ect. The reason this came to my attention was due to an "electrical smell" and a fan that was not turning off when I would shut the car off. You requested I bring it to you to have your mechanic look at it. So I did. Then after going all day with no car you advised that it was fixed and ready to go. Agreed the fan is no longer staying on. However, a few days after I picked the van up from you guys I noticed the van was running "rough" and discovered there was not a drop of oil in it. At this point the only logical explanation I could think of is either there was a severe leak and all the oil spilled out - or your mechanic never/forgot to put oil in it. There was no evidence of a severe oil leak that I had noticed yet at that time. So must have been the mechanic of yours never put oil in it. So obviously I put oil in it and went the very next day to just get an oil change and a lookover. From this point on - it has been nothing but issues. The van has smoke coming out from around the wheel base on the front passenger side. And an extreme burning smell to the point it feels unhealthy and causes headaches. So, again I stop by your dealership to check with you guys and to notify you of this issue considering I have only had the car a couple weeks and so far its been nothing but an issue. You of course shift the blame to whoever changed my oil and it must just be oil burning off. Well it is now 9/2/25 and I am still struggling with this issue. I have discovered the entire under carriage is soaked with oil from it spilling out of somewhere. It has been confirmed by a mechanic that it has been tampered with previously as you can see a poor job of a leak coverup attempt and not to mention when I originally brought the van in due to the rodent - your mechanic never even bothered to change out the filter. He just cleaned it out and put the same one back in. And the coolant that was in the van was brown in color and looked like mud. that is is not right. I have been quoted $3000 to fix what's needed in this van that I just paid you guys $18,000 for and in return it has been nothing but an issue since literally day 1. It has ruined my summer as I don't feel safe driving it - it has caused me time, money and stress. I did not purchase the warranty you offered barely cause I ran out of time being distracted with what was going on with the van. I feel you guys have cheated me out of $18,000 and sold me a bunk car. Not cool at all. Bad business. I don't really expect you to do anything to make this right for me which would be the right thing to do. The only option I would be willing to accept is a totally different car as this one is bunk and warranty included. I'm sure that's too much to ask. But I did want to make you aware and I will be sure to let anyone and everyone I know aware what kind of business you run there and advise to stay far away. I'm a single mom who works hard for her money and it was a big deal to dish out all that cash with the trust you run an honest business. Shame on you. read more

Horrible experience, called to test drive a car and was there within 30 minutes of my call just to be told the person I was supposed to meet for a test drive was already out on a different test drive and I was given no notice of that. The most frustrating part was the car I was coming in to test drive was being sold as I pulled in and to top it off I was told that the person scheduled the appointment to buy the car a day prior which I was also given no warning of. The car I got was decent but the experience was not. These people are shady and misogynistic. I paid with a debit card I hadn't used for almost a year. However, days after I bought the car, I was getting alerts for multiple fraudulent purchases. I also brought along a car-knowledgable male friend to help me (it was my first time buying a car) and was open about that with the dealers. But I said specifically I was single and buying the car. When I bought the car they had my male friend co-sign the loan (which I realized in retrospect they would never have done to a male client) even though I was more than able to afford the car (and paid it off in a year). They even handed the keys to my male friend even though I paid for it! I would never come here again especially since I believe they sold my debit card info. read more

I applied for financing for a used car at this dealership 6/19/23. I originally called them the beginning of the month (6/3/23) and set up an appointment to meet with Steve thought was really nice we emailed back-and-forth and then I decided not to go over there and look at the car due to still shopping around and looking at other vehicles and prices then, called him back last week and spoke to another guy Don't remember what his name was but he was also really nice and he told me that they have all kinds of financing options available I'd let them know that I preapproved for financing through another bank and I asked him if they use them and he said yes, but they could probably find me a better rate. I said great OK then I'll probably come to your dealership next week, which would've yesterday 6/19/23 , called again, and spoke with AJ yesterday before I filled out the finance application that they have on their website AJ did not discuss any thing with me. He didn't go over any options. He didn't ask me any questions. He really didn't seem to care at all. I really didn't think anything of it at the time. I just figured I would float the application and then they would get back in touch with me after they heard back from the bank. He didn't tell me where he submitted it. He didn't look at my credit or anything before he submitted it. He didn't go over any options he didn't do anything at all which I thought was kind of odd but I ignored it because I thought you know hey he's just doing his job. Maybe they already looked at everything and they know what type of financing that would probably qualify for because that's what they usually do at car dealerships they make sure that they can try to get you some type of financing or submit your application to a a bank that will actually finance you based on your credit score and everything else but she did not go over any of that with me after I filled out the application and he called me back to make sure I knew that they received it and it was submitted then today nobody called me at all they close at 5 o'clock, so I figured I would call back and find out what was going on with it, there was another sales person by the name of Scott that sent me an email and text messages asking me if I was still looking for a vehicle and I responded to the text messages and said yes that I am waiting for the application to come back to you guys or are you to hear back from the bank that AJ submitted it to you, he didn't respond to me via text Steve or email so I called and I called around 436 just right before they close just so that way I knew what my options would be because I waited all day for a response. Also when I originally found this car listing on CarGurus, it said that they've had the car for 133 days at the time at the beginning of this month and I just looked at it today the same ad and then it changed to 77 days. I'm not sure how that is but I know what I saw, so when I spoke to Scott and I asked him about the application, what the results were he told me that they submitted it to a credit union and not that's all they use and he also told me that's what majority of car dealerships use our credit unions and I know that is the flat out lie because they don't all use that they have different financing options for different people in different situation and why he thought I would believe that I have no idea, and then I asked him why they did that and didn't discuss that with me and they didn't go over any other options with any other banks they just submitted it's a one and that was it which was the credit union again so it seems like they did not want to sell the car to me. They wanted to deny me or have me get denied. They didn't go over anything else any other options and then they told me something that was a flat out lie and just think if I would've actually went all the way over there I can just imagine what would've happened this was a blessing in disguise. Found a car that newer with another dealership that was professional with me and had less miles anybody is reading this I hope you think about going there and doing business with this dealership especially if they do something like this to me I'm shadow do it to anybody else that they don't wanna sell a car to for whatever reason and not being honest about it, and lying to you , absolutely unacceptable and a waste of peoples time If I can give zero stars, I totally would read more

They will rush you to buy buy buy but when something is wrong with the vehicle and you call them out for it no one will get back to you. Doesn't deserve any stars. I bought a vehicle and was told that they go over each vehicle and make sure there are no problems and if so they fix before selling. A week after I bought the car it was in the shop and cost 1700 dollars for transmission problems. They also added 500 dollars to my purchase price for theft protection. That is a total scam and I will be taking this further. As of this time after several weeks of waiting I have still not received the title. Not able to license vehicle because of this. Terrible response when I asked about it. They said it wasn't their problem. I said can't drive it without getting a ticket and was told I could fight the ticket. That is the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard from a car dealer. I will pursue this further with the state of Oregon. read more

I found the car ive been wanting at PDX Motorcars, so I head over there and spoke with a salesmen name Cody. He was very helpful and polite. well after our test drive and some talking I asked if I could take the car to a Lexus dealership for an inspection and Cody said of course. next day I take there and we found out there where a few issues. once I returned back from the inspection I was then dealing with the "sales manager" Steve. we sat and went over the list, and steve continued to check off what he would take care of for me to buy the car. he made a copy with everything he marked down saying he would do. the next day I went to bank got the money and when I came back to pay and get in writing what steve had promised to do and out of the blue he started saying on a couple of the big issues that he NEVER said he would take care of those. I asked why would he flip flop after everything and I showed him the paperwork that has his "check marks" and "ok" by. he continued to deny it, so I asked for my deposit back and left. couple days later I stayed in touch with Cody, and we tried talking and figuring out what if anything can be done. I decided to go in to the dealership and I spoke with Sam the owner. we went into his office and talked for a long while. he asked what had happened with Steve. I explained and Sam was on my side. He made me feel like a person and that my experienced mattered to him. anyway we talked over everything and negotiated where I feel I was satisfied. despite what had taken place with the sales manager. Sam and Cody made the rest of my experience a great one. Sam especially really went above and beyond for me. I bought the car with the promise from Sam ( in writing ) to fix the issues that needed. My husband and I bought a 2017 Ford Explorer from this dealership. We had a limited amount of time to drive to Portland, test drive the vehicle, and drive it home. PDX Motors worked with us and our credit union to have all the paperwork and payment arranged ahead of time. The salesperson who helped us was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle. He answered all of our questions. We were able to test drive the vehicle, complete the paperwork, and drive off with our new Explorer in about 2 hours.
