When I came back with my bike rack and my wife, she had questions for Matt regarding an electric cruiser. He directed her to an Electra Townie, with a paint scheme that looked like the clouds at sunset in Hawaii (she's Hawaiian). This bike checked all the boxes for her as well. A girlfriend had stayed over Saturday night and when woke up Sunday morning and saw how beautiful it was I said "let's go for a bike ride today!. She didn't have her bike and we didn't have time to go shopping so I called around the bay area to see who had the bike I wanted in stock and would deliver it that same day. After calling a number of other shops closer to me who wouldn't deliver that same day, I finally called NorCal. Sam helped me out and we found the exact bike I wanted. I placed the order and a few hours later a new bike arrived. It was perfect! What a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this bike shop.

I had a tune-up recently and was charged an arm and a leg and my bike ended up worse than when it went in. On top of that, the shop lost a frame bolt, which made it unsafe to ride. They told me they'd reimburse me if I purchased the part, but once I did, they said they couldn't reimburse me. So I spent more money to fix their mistake. Again, I used to love this place, but I won't be a returning customer.

I went downtown a few weeks ago and saw they were closed. I texted Geoffrey and found out they operate by appt only since he's a one man show. I made an appt online for 6/20. Went in and tested the Workman Trike and the low rider trike (with a seat like a beach chair). I liked the look of the Workman Trike better because I wanted the "bike" look as well as being able to sit tall. I also liked the basket in the back. This particular trike is not your normal kids trike. This one it's made by Workman which is the oldest bike manufacturer in the US since 1898. They make both industrial and recreation bikes. It's a sturdy little bike and I am very happy with it! Maybe I can work my way up to riding a 2 wheel bike one day. If not, I'm happy with this bike just to work out. I will try to find a way to fit it in the Prius. It does fold but just barely fits when closing the hatchback. We will try different positions and see if we can make it work. Otherwise, loving my new bike. I highly recommend Geoffrey at Bike Partners. He even delivered my bike the same day since I couldn't drive it home.
