I don't typically write reviews but recently went in to look at a A7 and my ex audi tech buddy…read moreasked about some serious service questions after noticing a few issues & oil underneath it but the I'm assuming son of the dealer who was supposed to be helping us rudely replied it's in the CARFAX without even remotely being open to talk about its issues or maintenance of any sorts. Secondly upon us wanting to test drive they where rather forceful to try and get us in to check numbers to even have the ability to test drive. keep in mind we are still trying to compare cars between a Q7 or an A7 as I need another daily driver.

My Nefu was shopping for a car and couldn't get approved ANYWHERE. As soon as he told me I immediately said you have to go to Quality Auto Sales they seriously work magic over there. Well, we went in and had he had no hope (except for some places that said they'd in-house him with a huge down payment) as he had been denied everywhere. Quality came to the rescue! They also offered buy here pay here, but they got him financed with a bank and even wiped down the car I got from them when we were waiting. The team there is the best from their cars, selection, service, warranties (which saved me a ton of money a year after I got my car). My credit is excellent now thanks to them and my Nefu is now on his way to rebuilding them. Seriously these guys are a different breed. A totally different experience than other dealers. After dropping a $200 deposit to hold the truck was on my way to test drive it and Pedro didnt answer my calls for a while (I live two hours away from rancho cordova) after I was over halfway there he answered...anyway the truck checked out. It exceeeded my expectations. So I'm signing paperwork to purchase the truck. I have some of my down payment cash and some on my debit. Pedro says I can pay whatever and get the rest to him in a few weeks (sounds good right?) I also purchased the extended warranty. Anyway Pesro cant tell me much about the truck except for the carfax report. Theres was a lower front bumper lip and license plate in the truck bed, he said the lip didnt belong to the truck and tossed it to the side. I found out the lip does belong to my truck. I told Pedro I can stop by and pick it up since ill be up that way. He told me they are open 7 days a week til 7pm, I show up on a saturday I believe. Nobody at Goldent State Auto (even though I called multiple times and pedro assured me somebody will be there) then Pedro apologizes and he will make it up to me with a tank of gas and gift cards said he will mail it. He STILL TO THIS DAY has not said anything to me about the lip when I can pick it up or when he will mail it, he also has not said another word about gift cards or the tank of gas he promised me for all the wasted time and trips. The I take it to get an oil change and dealership informs me it needs a new steering rack. No problem I have the extended warranty, I schedule the repair...dealership calls me and says the extended warranty will not cover my repair becuase the policy is not active. I call pedro. Nobody asnwers, ever. He said his boss will start the policy when they recieve the final payment. (Which was not part of the deal) he told me to pay $1,000 in a few weeks, if he would have told me this upon signing I would have just paid the whole down payment, I had the impression he was trying to help me out and save some Money for the time being. This is not his intentions. Keep in mind this is the first week I had the truck. I took it to the car wash and the pressure washer blew a cover upn clean off literally not even a week after I bought it. Then the check engine came on and I informed Pedro, once again he didnt reply and still hasn't replied regarding the check engine light. Only time Pedro tried to get ahold of me was to collect the final payment and he straight blew up my phone non stop while at was at work then told me he was "conerned for my well bing and thought something might have happened to me" when all he wanted was money then proceeded to tell me "to do the right thing" and then threaten to "make the final payment or his boss will send me to collections" keep in my mind I never met or talked to his boss, not even when I called the dealership multiple times, multuple days, ever not once. But Pedro thinks when he mentions his boss im supposed to care. I believe Pedro thinks he is helping me by selling me this truck when infact the truck sold itself. Pedro was not a help at all. Infact, its but nothing but non stop incoveniences. Now I will say they do have some nice vehicles. They know what sales. But keep in mind they are "USED CAR SALESMAN" they are not completely honest or straight forward about anything and they do lie. The thing is they had the exact truck I had been looking for with low miles so I was sold, it wasnt pedro the persuaded me to make the purchase, im confident I know more about vehicles than Pedro. I do not recommend this dealership unless you absolutely have to have a vehicle you see. Everytime I text this guy no reply or when I call no answer. Trash customer service. Be cautious with this place.

However, they MANDATE an extra $2,000-$2,500 fee on top of the advertised price for "VIN Stamping and a LoJack anti-theft system." They they install these on every vehicle before listing for sale and claim that the VIN stamping is legally required. What they don't mention is that while California law requires them to OFFER it, California Vehicle Code § 24020 explicitly gives the buyer the right to DECLINE IT. I requested both the LoJack and VIN stamping be removed because I didn't want either. The manager flat-out refused to sell the truck without them. During our conversation, I got the manager to admit that the VIN stamping only costs them $259. Knowing that a LoJack activation typically runs about $500, they are charging nearly $1,900 in pure, unadulterated markup just to pad their pockets. They are using these "fees" to falsely lower their advertised price online, then forcing you to pay the real price at the desk. If you show up with cash and refuse to be ripped off, they will walk away from the deal. For anyone reading this, know your rights. This dealership is actively violating multiple California consumer protection laws: California Vehicle Code § 24020: Violates your legal right to decline catalytic converter VIN etching.The Car Buyer's Bill of Rights (AB 68 / Civil Code §§ 2982 & 2982.2): Requires a separate, explicit written disclosure of add-on costs and prohibits adding products without express written consent. California SB 478 (The Anti-Junk Fee Law): Outlaws advertising one price and forcing mandatory hidden fees later. Cal. Civ. Code § 1750 (CLRA) & Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 17200: Prohibits deceptive misrepresentations and illegal "tying" arrangements. They deliberately avoid putting these items in text messages and emails because they don't want a paper trail of their illegal mandates. They solely prey upon people who don't do their research, the financially illiterate, or buyers who get too emotionally attached to a car to walk away. If this dealership has done this to you, do not just leave a bad review--report them officially to the California DMV Investigations Division, the CA Attorney General, and the FTC. Take your hard-earned money somewhere that isn't putting profits over people. Steer clear.

I took time off work, brought a second person with me, and even had our family mechanic come along to inspect the vehicle. The car's A/C was not working during the test drive. That immediately raised concerns for me about the dealership's reconditioning process and the overall condition of its inventory. We also observed six separate rock-chip impact points on the front windshield, a partially worn windshield seal, and what felt like an unstable suspension during the drive. The dealership agreed to repair the A/C but refused to replace the windshield, offering only to fill the chips with resin. They had their mechanic inspected the suspension and come back saying it was good. Based on what I experienced, I decided to walk away and take my business elsewhere. In my opinion, the vehicle was not in the condition I expected, and I left with concerns about their thoroughness of the inspection and reconditioning process.
