I got the grandma's pasta on a Thursday ($11) and the glass of red wine for $2 that went with it. The pasta was cooked a little too long for my tastes, and the sauce was on par with something from the grocery store. The meal overall felt like something I could make at home for cheaper. The second time, I went for brunch and got the ultimate breakfast sandwich, which was pretty heavy/greasy, and the combination of flavors with the sauce felt slightly off. I was super eager to try this new restaurant in NE. Unfortunately I was not impressed. My partner and I ordered delivery from DoorDash. We both got the chopped cheese (one on a GF roll). The sandwich was big and came with a side, which I opted for shoestring fries and my partners ordered chips. My partner was disappointed it was bagged chips and not homemade, kinda a bummer. We received a handwritten note in the bag saying they ran out of shoestring fries so they swapped my side for waffle fries. No biggie! However, the downfall was the taste. There was absolutely no flavor on the chopped cheese, not even salt. It was such a let down and surprising because the waffle fries definitely had seasoning. Weird. The description also said it came with a chili dill aioli, which was not on the sandwiches. I did ask for extra on the side so maybe they assumed I meant I wanted it all on the side? Swung in for late breakfast with my six year old and we were very happy with our experience. The space is colorful and fun, and my kiddo thought the art was 'wild and cool'. We were sat right away and our server was at our table promptly. Opted for one of the many delicious seasonal coffee drinks available (full espresso bar available even for just take away) and some grapefruit juice. There is a full bar but alas I am pregnant and my kid is underage so we didn't get to imbibe. Lots of fun drinks and your standbys available though for those who can make it a fun brunch with beverages! We started with the cinnamon roll - you HAVE TO GET THE CINNAMON ROLL!!! It was perfection. My son got the burrito. The server had warned it was large and she wasn't kidding - this thing could feed 3 and it did for two more meals afterwards in leftovers. It was fine but just nothing special and I wasn't totally into the flavor profile with the mushroom and balsamic. I am cursing that I live on the west coast and can't be at relish every weekend. I absolutely loved this new spot for brunch. My husband and I stopped in last weekend on a trip back to Minnesota after stumbling on an Instagram post that looked tasty, and it was beyond the hype. Very cute decor, delicious coffee, and excellent breakfast sandwiches. The ultimate breakfast sandwich was some of the best breakfast sausage I've ever had. We shared the Hashbrowns as well and they were cooked perfectly. We sat at the bar and loved our bartender as well, he was extremely attentive and gave some great tips on ordering on the go or what would be good for quick service if we came in again. The staff is friendly, but the food took a long time to arrive for our party of 5 and after the food came, we weren't checked on until it was time to clear our plates. I ordered the seasonal hash for breakfast and the egg yolks were nice and runny and the vegetables had a pleasant crispy texture to them. Unfortunately, the flavor of the hash overall was quite bland. The rest of my party thought their wraps and hash were "alright" as well. Portion size is average. What a cute spot! Our server Lee was so friendly and welcoming, he made it a great experience. Very kid friendly with booster seats and high chair options. Meh - so much potential. I really wanted to love it here as this was supposed to be a vibrant hipster coffee bar but perhaps my ratings fell short due coming here on a Monday over lunch (slow time). Regardless, parking is a hassle. There is no parking lot and tons of bus stops, meters, etc. making it frustrating before you even enter the space. Despite having a reservation, the service was very slow (understaffed) and there was no dedicated host. I didn't mind waiting to get seated but if you have somewhere to go, you may want to look elsewhere. I first ordered the PB banana protein coffee smoothie and the server had to make sure all the ingredients were in stock (good news - they were and the drink was spectacular). I ordered the breakfast bowl as my main entre and after waiting maybe 20 minutes the chef hollered over to me that they were out of tofu (bummer as that was the main protein on the dish). We agreed to add an egg and some turkey sausage and I have no complaints about the modification outside of disappointment. Lastly, the WiFi was very spotty and I couldn't connect right away but it eventually worked. I didn't hate or love it - extremely neutral rating. Overall, this has been the best experience we've had in bringing out 1-year old for breakfast. Honestly, the food was incredible for the cost! We've got to some places before where we paid more than we liked for food that was just okay if not even a little disappointing. But this food was all delicious, across the board! Four people and we all had different plates, and we all finished the food entirely and were very happy with how it looked and tasted.
