They came to pick up all my stuff and had it out and ready to go in about 15 minutes. I didn't need the money for my stuff right away and it's been selling over the last couple of months. They're getting fair prices for my stuff. The most important thing to me was that this problem get solved and it doesn't take up any of my time and I haven't been disappointed. Overall our experience was positive and a big help in moving my aunt out of her home, after 50+ years of residence. The two movers Bryan and Lionel did an outstanding job and were done in record time. The only problem was communication, as they arrived believing they were only picking up consignment items, not clearing out the house and secondly, a couple of large pieces of furniture were not included in the original pictures taken by Carol, and so the final estimate was much higher than we had expected, even though a lot of donate items had been removed by family members before the date Remoov showed up. Bryan and Lionel adjusted to the change in plans and did a great job. Still, we were glad for the service and it got the job done in one day so we could move on. read more

Their system and operating model is totally messed up if you ever need their help after they take your stuff. My wife and I agreed to buy a couch from someone and, after agreeing on a price, were told to come pick it up from Remoov. Seller had used their services back in January but was told at the end of June that the six-month consignment period had passed. Seller decided to take the couch back and sell it themselves, which is where we got involved. Anyway, the seller made an appointment for us to pick up the couch from Remoov and everything was going to be fine. LOL That night, around 11, they got an email saying that the couch had been sold. Somehow in the few days between the seller taking their couch back and us picking it up, it disappears. Very convenient. Both we and the seller spoke to Luis, who had nothing helpful to say and wasn't particularly pleasant to talk to. He did offer us an extra discount if we found something we liked in their store, but I'm not giving him any money. Couldn't have given less of a crap that we had rented a truck in preparation to pick up this couch. He told us the couch had been sold for FIVE DAYS, and yet they didn't say anything. On top of that, the appointment time we had, which was made online through their portal or whatever, apparently wasn't real - we would have shown up and nobody would have been at the location. Tl;dr their systems are messed up and their people aren't helpful. There are better ways to get rid of crap than to pay these people to fill their inventory and lose 50% of the sale price on top of that. read more

I hired Remoovit to sell, donate, and recycle the furniture contents of my one bedroom apartment in Phoenix. All of this furniture was not even six months old and originally cost me about $1300. I was on a tight schedule on the pickup day and they said I would be the first on their agenda with an 11AM pickup on June 29th. However they did not show up until almost 2PM. The kids doing the pickup were efficient, quick, and courteous so I tipped them. I was told by Remoovit that I would receive money from the sale of my chest of drawers and a donation receipt for many of the other items. I made sure they had my home address in Florida and my correct email address to send the money and the receipt(s). I heard nothing from them and it was going on the end of August so I called. The dashboard incorrectly indicated the item for sale was a chair, not a chest of drawers. I was told they would get back to me on this and they would also email me a receipt for the donated items. They never got back to me regarding the item for sale but I did receive the donation receipt(s). I continue to email them about my item for sale but they do not reply. Unfortunately I am quite dissatisfied with their service overall and that is why I rated them the way I did. read more

A great timesaver! We needed to clear the house and were overwhelmed trying to figure out which items to sell, and which to recycle, donate or junk. At first we considered selling some pieces ourselves and calling a junk-remover to take the rest, but that was way too stressful and time-consuming. Enter Remoov and with one pickup they had everything cleared out and sorted. As a bonus they were even able to sell a few items we were just going to toss out. They ended up selling everything they said they were going to sell. While they kept half of the proceeds, I didn't have to do anything myself so I think that's a fair trade-off. read more

This is a fantastic service, it's one-stop shopping for anyone who wants to get rid of items and is environmentally conscious, and doesn't want to deal with consignment stores directly. I've used this company twice in one month. I needed furniture removed in several rooms to make space for new items. The process could not have been easier, uploading photos and providing some basic information about the items. I heard back quickly and was able to schedule a removal time when I needed it, which was very soon after I had uploaded the items. I also had several questions which were answered promptly and professionally. The team that came to the house was great. They were communicative (called to let me know they were stuck in traffic on the first visit and called to ask if they could come early on the second visit), friendly, professional, efficient and worked hard. I had to vacate an apartment and a garage with 30 years of accumulations for a dear friend who passed away suddenly a few months ago. I hired Remoov to take a bunch of things to Goodwill, and to try to sell some of the better items. They filled a large moving van with all the items, and were extremely professional. The fee was quite reasonable, but special kudos go to Sil and Morris, who made countless trips up and down the 25 steps in and out of the apartment. Update: My items have reach the end of their consignment period. At this time, only 1 out of 4 items sold. The item sold, a 40 inch 4k TV, went for 104 dollars, half of which went to Remoov. The unsold items include a dining table, a lenovo laptop, and a 4k monitor. The 52 dollars paid to me obviously does not cover the money I paid for pickup. My original review stands: think of this as a paid removal service. Original review: Like the other reviewers said, the pick up was quick and straight forward, but the sales consignment process is... slow to say the least. I did my pickup in March. It is now almost June. Two of my items are listed for sale and the other two still processing. That is, nothing has sold after 2 months. If you do use this service, understand that you're basically paying people to clean out your place. I'm skeptical that anything actually will be sold, and even more skeptical that you'll recuperate your initial pick-up fee. read more

Simple to book, quick response and pickup, friendly staff.

They say they'll get you a quote in 24 hours but it took them almost three days. This is not a service to use if you have a ton of stuff to donate, and their customer service isn't up-front about that. They are extremely selective about what they'll sell (Wedgewood china, Waterford crystal, and Prada shoes don't make the cut) and almost as choosy about what they'll donate. The majority of your stuff they'll want you to pay them to trash. Their final quote for me was $780 to trash the majority of my stuff. I took it to Goodwill instead, where they were delighted to accept everything, and it only cost me $100 to get it there. Remoov may be a good service if you have a few major items you want to get rid of, but that's not how Remoov presents themselves. They should be MUCH clearer with people about the types of items they're willing to sell and donate. I'm posting this review because I wasted a lot of precious time waiting for Remoov's quote, to the point where they were almost my last option. But I couldn't bring myself to throw away valuable things, so I tried Goodwill instead and am very glad I did. The one on 121 Wisconsin St will accept everything that Goodwill's website says they'll accept. Just be sure to sort things into different categories (clothes, housewares, etc.) when you box/bag them up. They don't answer their phone, but it's fine to show up during business hours and easy to get a receipt. You don't even need to be there when your stuff gets dropped off--you can get the receipt for your taxes from their website. Instead of paying Remoov hundreds of dollars to trash your good stuff, you can let it go to good use instead. read more

This was the first time I've used Remoov and the experience was quite good. The online booking was easy and I got prompt responses to email communications. The guys on the crew who came to get my stuff were polite and professional. The only feedback I have is the online booking windows are all four-hour slots. That said, I was able to get a two-hour window by calling and explaining that I was going to be hanging out in a chilly storage unit facility while waiting and needed a tighter window. I appreciated that they accommodated my request without any problem. The fee for the pick-up was also quite reasonable especially for San Francisco. read more

This is the second time i have used Remoov. My first experience was great! I was cleaning out a lot of stuff from my inlaws that had come from two homes. They were on time, and the guys that came were great. Sold most of what they took, with no expectations. This time it was only a few things left after we moved in, they are not interested in trying to sell things anymore, a lot of recycling. Scheduled an appointment and 3 hours into the appointment they called saying their truck had broken down and would not be able to pick up. What you get back in less than the facility or moving charge up front. There was no misrepresentation or anything shady about these folks -- they are nice and honest -- but the value proposition is awful. If you get back to zero you are lucky. (I am still in the hole myself.) Better to use a traditional consignment who oft picks up for free. read more

If you have a major purge of stuff, these folks have a great service. Basically, it's a triage service. They consign your best stuff. You get half when it sells. They donate your resalable stuff. You get the tax write-off if you itemize. They recycle you unsalable stuff. And they charge you by volume to come and get it. This means that if you are getting rid of crap, it's a hauling service and if you have some good stuff, you might make money. Mainly, you don't have to deal with it all. Remoov is bound by the secondary market. We had a lot of furniture, which they usually dump because there is very little demand for used bedroom or office furniture. We gave a ton of stuff away however,to people who were happy to haul it off for free. Also, it was very difficult to estimate volume --at least partly our fault. They ended up leaving a bunch of stuff here however, which is a PITA. The crew communicated well. They arrived later than scheduled, but we got a phone call and a credit, so no big deal. I'm not sure if I will make money when it all settles. They have a site that lets you track the fate of your stuff. It's a good service, but I suspect they dump most of what they pick up. read more

Yikes, not sure what happened but our experience was very unprofessional. First of all we scheduled online just to find out they weren't doing visits that day. Then the person who was coming out and apparently had car trouble so we had to reschedule for later in the day. Then we never received an estimate or any response, which we were supposed to receive in 24 hours. Not sure what happened and I am glad we were able to sell our furniture another way but if we had been depending on Remoov we would have been in big trouble! Awesome service!!!!! We were trying to clear my mother-in-law's house after she passed away and my wife wanted to donate many of the items to charity. Getting a charity to pick up though was the problem. Either they were too picky about what they would take or they weren't available to pick up for a month. Not only did Remoov send some of our items to charities but many others went to consignment while the remainder went to the trash yard. A one stop service with a price similar to what a hauler was going to charge us for taking items to the dump. A bonus was that everyone we dealt with was really nice and professional.
