Remoov could not have been more helpful. When I first discovered their service I was devastated because my residential area was not within their pick up zone. Despite that, they were completely gracious about agreeing to come out and even scheduled the pick up at a time that was convenient for us. We had a large household full of furniture that could end up as either consignable, for donation, or junk and we just didn't have the time or mind space to deal with the process ourselves. Andrew arranged everything, Bryan and Joshua did the pick up and were magnificent. So far it has been a lifesaver in an otherwise complicated move. I contacted this company weeks ago to schedule their services to move the contents of my condo and sell my furniture on consignment. I called and spoke personally to a representative and specifically asked about service to my area which is approximately 30 miles from San Francisco. She told me it would be no problem. I simply needed to log in a few days before my move to submit photos of my furniture and schedule pick up. It is now 4 days before my move, and I log in to submit photos and schedule pick up only to find out they do not service my area! I called and spoke to a representative explaining that I had been incorrectly told by an employee that my city was in the service area. I would happily pay an additional charge if they would rectify the misunderstanding and go a few extra miles to pick up my furniture. She said no they would not do that. I am now left on the hook to move all of my belongings in 4 days losing thousands of dollars to expedite this process because I have limited time. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The employees are not adequately trained to answer basic questions about this business model. Furthermore, they will make no effort to extend the courtesy of helping out a customer when one of their employees is in error. Trust them at your own risk, as I certainly regret my decision to do so. read more

I wanted to sell a very nice Armoire. I sent Remoov pics of the furniture, and without informing me of any decision or estimate related to the quality or value of the furniture, they schedule a time to come out and pick up the Armoire. I assumed at this point that they were intending to help me sell it. I agree to pay the fee thinking that I'll be able to recoup the Remoove fee when I sell it, but when they arrive, they inform me that they don't have room to sell my Armoire. They're already in my apartment ready to take it away, so I had to weigh taking a loss in order to get the furniture moved out, or hope I can find someone else to buy it. I chose the former, but had they told me they had no intention of selling the Armoire, I never would have done business with them in the first place. Plus they presumably destroyed a very nice piece of furniture! Or maybe they sold it and pocketed the money. Remoov is a total scam. Beware! read more

I had no intention of buying anything but could not pass up this $75 tan suede queen sized pull out bed couch. It was in excellent condition and looked brand new! Not a good place to sell your furniture. I can't comment on their junk hauling or moving services, but I would look elsewhere if you want to actually MAKE money instead of spending money for your nice furniture. I uploaded some pictures for several of my barely-used furniture. Without giving me any information on their estimate for resell value, they told me it would cost me $250 just for them to pick up these items. Ummm, no thank you. Perhaps I was mistaken in thinking that Remoov actually helps you sell your furniture (their marketing certainly made it seem that way. But It looks like Remoov is primary focused on junk hauling. The multiple reminder emails and texts to give them money are also annoying AF. In the end, I was able to sell my furniture using other services and actually made money without having to spend a penny. TLDR: thanks but no thanks if you want to actually make money from your furniture instead of spending money (wtf?!). Also be aware of their annoying "reminder" emails and texts. Remoov's service holds up to its promise. Last thing I want to deal with over the summer is clutter in my apartment. Honestly, I would have been fine with them only picking up/donating all my stuff but hey, they resell all the good stuff that I have! I scheduled an in-home consultation with Tim and he quickly gave me estimates on what items can be sold, what will be donated, and what needs to go to recycling. Remoov website is very user friendly and pickup was easy to schedule. The Remoov crew arrived on schedule and was very courteous. However, they didn't use things like padding to protect furniture and home. They had to navigate a staircase with a couple of bends to move furniture. My hardwood floors have a few new dings as a result of the Remoov pickup process. My takeaway is that a professional moving service is probably better option if you are concerned about possible damage during the moving process. read more

This review is long overdue. I inquired about Remoov's services prior to my move back in May. I sent pictures as requested. I was told the price for pick up was $199 but when I also inquired about adding more items (in which I sent pictures) the price went up. That was fine as it made sense. During my move, two gentlemen came to pick up the items. The guys were great so I had hoped for a great experience. However, when I had consistent problems within the dashboard and realized not all my items were listed, the issus began. I called numerous times to find out the situation and was finally directed to Sean? the customer service manager. When I explained that not all of my items were listed he insisted that was all that was picked up. I then had to prove to him that wasn't the case by sending the original pictures I had sent that was approved. Since he couldn't figure out the discrepancy his attitude became very rude and very short of any sort of decent customer service. Ironically I was told he was in charge of customer service. He insisted items were not picked up as if I was lying. Not only was I charged more for the extra items, but they didn't even have 6 other items on my consignment dashboard. Instead they chose to ignore my questions as to where those items went with a rude attitude to top it off. Clearly their system isn't button down nor is their customer service. Its too bad because originally I was thrilled to find such a company that started off on the right foot. Word of warning, make sure you have accurate inventory from them on pick up so your items don't go missing. Had I known my furniture would just vanish, I would have brought them with me in my move and sold them on my own. read more

Awesome service. I had several pieces of large bedroom furniture and a desk to be removed and placed on consignment with Remoov. After filling out the online quote, I was responded to quickly and went to the link on the website. I selected from the available date, but noted in my response that earlier in the week would work better than Saturday. Got a great phone call from someone awesome that said they could arrange the pickup on Wednesday. The movers showed up on time (they even text you a GPS link to see how far they are from your location). The movers were professional and quick. What a great service! I needed to clear out a bunch of junk from my place this week (elliptical, queen size bed, old dining set, a set of cabinets) - I did their online form on Monday morning, and they called me back and fit me into their schedule on Thursday morning. They showed up on time (loved the app to show exactly where they were and when they were arriving), and carried everything out with no problem (even the ridiculously heavy elliptical from the second floor). I don't know if they'll be able to sell any of my stuff, but just having them deal with all the disposal is totally worth the price. read more

After reading some of the reviews, I was not completely sure what I was going to get with this service, particularly given that we are in the middle of a COVID pandemic and there is just so much up in the air in terms of service quality and dependable businesses during shut downs and shelter in place. But I have to say that Remoov was nothing but a smooth and pleasant experience. Moving is stressful! During a pandemic and on a time crunch is even worse. But they were responsive, friendly, and got the job done. Customer service answered all the questions I had at the beginning (I ask a lot of questions) about picking up and selling my items. I was concerned that my furniture wouldn't get sold, but eventually it was a great value and most of it sold. When the movers came they practiced good social distancing, wearing masks/gloves and shoe coverings. It took some time, but I eventually got fair $$ back for my sold items. They are quite clear that it's possible not everything might sell, but I saw my items posted on several online marketplaces and you get an email giving you an opportunity to take items back once the consignment period expired. (Quick tip--they'll give you an extra 30 days if you ask for an extension to pick up) This is a small business working hard to provide services that a lot of other companies are not right now and doing it responsibly and safely. I'm grateful to Remoov for helping me during a stressful time and would trust them again w my items in a heartbeat. read more

I love this service. I had been searching for something like this for a long time....recycle, resell, donate. I have been using them frequently for years as we remodel and purge a lot of items. All of their staff are delightful and professional. Andrew once brought back a box at 9 pm at night that was accidentally taken (not their fault). Jason and Clint are wonderful, too. We just used Remoov's services this week, having them haul away a queen sleeper sofa, a club chair and ottoman. We had been unable to locate a charity that would pick them up, and didn't want the extra furniture hanging around forever. I contacted Remoov through their website, and received an email response that same day. I was also able to schedule a pickup day and time that worked well for me. Email and phone contact with their customer service group was easy, professional and pleasant. On the day of pickup, I received a text about 30 minutes before their arrival (right on schedule). Caesar and Chris were great: very friendly and accommodating. They clearly explained their services, packed up our furniture and were off in less than 15 minutes. Shortly after, I received an email from Remoov with my receipt and the planned next steps for the furniture (resale vs donation). I would definitely use their services again, and recommend them without reservation. read more

Process was too good to be true. I sent a photo of my piano. I got an estimate of $361.00. I said sounds great, and scheduled the removal, all through my phone. They didn't ask any questions - like number of stairs, weight, dimensions etc. Two guys showed up on time. Realized that the job was too big for them and left. Next day, boss called me and said that they aren't experts in piano removal, and basically put me back at square one. They refused to do the job, and wasted my time. If they are not experts at piano removal, and don't ask relevant questions for moving large objects, then that's on them. They seem like amateurs who don't really know what they're doing. Remoov totally dropped the ball in dealing with my situation. From the beginning I disclosed that we were seeking to dispose of furniture located in an office building and that Remoov would have to provide a certificate of insurance confirming that it had the insurance coverage the building requires. Here's the timeline: On April 30, 2018 and again on May 4, I forwarded a copy of the building's insurance requirements to Remoov. On May 5, Remoov confirmed by email that it "can certainly provide proof of insurance based on your attached requirements." On May 9, I booked a removal date of May 26, and emailed Remoov asking how soon it could provide a certificate of insurance as required by building management in advance. On May 10, Remoov replied that a certificate of insurance would be provided well before the pickup date. On May 11 and May 15, I emailed Remoov asking about the status of the certificate of insurance. Remoov responded on May 15, assuring me that I would have the certificate of insurance no later than the next day, May 16. On May 17, not having received any certificate despite assurances, I emailed Remoov again nothing that the building management's deadline for a certificate was quickly approaching. Later on May 17 I received a certificate. Unfortunately on inspection, it did not come close to meeting the building's requirements--which Remoov had received on April 30. I immediately emailed Remoov noting the deficiencies. Remoov responded at 428pm on May 17, stating that it could not comply with the insurance requirements. The building's deadline for a certificate of insurance for a May 26 pickup was the next day, May 18. If Remoov could not comply with the insurance requirements of our building, why didn't it say so immediately after I forwarded it a copy of those requirements on April 30 and May 4, instead of assuring me that it could "certainly provide proof of insurance based on your attached requirements." That's sheer and unforgiveable incompetence. The May 26 date was a hard deadline under our lease. The morning of May 18--the day after Remoov confirmed its inability to meet requirements it had in its hands for almost three weeks--I called a competitor (hint: starts with 1-800). That competitor had the required certificate of insurance in my hands in less than two hours. My strong advice: Don't use Remoov for any office furniture disposition. read more

ok, so I had a tenant pass, and he was a hoarder. Stuff was packed in so tight and so nasty. I called remoov and they organized a time, and they came out and Jason, Clint and Devon just went to it. I felt I had to warn them, but they got in there and said, "naw, see this all the time" And they took everything, like the Grinch even the last crumb!! I was so grateful, a 24' truckload!! Thank you guys for a very professional job! I might add it was on the second floor through a thin winding staircase!!! For me I just wanted the stuff gone, if they find things to sell and sell it great, but that was not my primary reason to use them, I was not comfortable with just throwing all his stuff away, even though it was nasty, remoov will donate and recycle, so that is why I called them. read more

I am soooo disappointed! I had a storage unit which I had held onto for far too long, mostly because I didn't know what to do with an expensive multi-piece cherry office set. When I discovered Remoov, I thought it was too good to be true... I could empty the storage unit AND sell the office set, problem solved. I sent them the required pictures of the storage unit contents. Mind you, everything is piled up in storage, so it would be hard for them to see what goes with what. When they replied with their estimate, they had part of the components for the office set in the consignment category, and part in recycle. I emailed them to correct that, telling them that the pieces were all one set. I never heard another thing about it. In preparation for the pickup, I labeled all contents in the unit as resale, recycle, and donation. On pickup day, they were on time, and very courteous. I was thrilled, despite my bill being a little higher than the estimate. But now, a few weeks later, I received an email from them showing my items for sale, which consisted of.... a vacuum! I called and spoke to a manager who told me that based on the estimate, the furniture was not going to be sold. I went through the discussion with him about my email to them discussing the furniture being all one set, and the fact that I not only emailed them, but also labeled the items. He said he would "talk to the appraisers once the corona shelter in place was over in several weeks." Not an "I'm sorry you're an unhappy customer"... nothing. Now I've spent over $700 to have the items junked, when a hauler would have done the same thing for me for a couple hundred bucks. Not cool. read more

First of all, let me say this is a fabulous service. They were very professional and a pleasure to deal with and the time and hassle saved had a great deal of value. I'm giving them three stars because I'm disappointed that the majority of the items picked up were recycled instead of donated. I had a dining room set, cabinet and a couple other items that may not have been in perfect condition, but I do believe were in good enough shape to have been donated. I have a couple of pieces still out for possible consignment, but absolutely nothing was donated, and that just doesn't make sense to me. So the cost was a bit higher than I anticipated. At the end of the day it was probably worth it, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. But I might have tried to take the time first to arrange a pickup with a reputable charity first. read more
