This place is well located in the Marina Bay in Ft Lauderdale so it has a super nice view of a dock. The friendly staff contributes to the pleasant environment and overall good vibes! I decided to try the Shrimp Tacos as it was National Taco Day on Monday. I am not exaggerating when I say these tacos made top 3 most for delicious bites of my life. My wife and I had dinner here on the evenings before and after our cruise and absolutely loved it! The scallops were fresh and perfectly cooked, the sea bass was flaky and delicious and the yellow curry was an amazing surprise! The one I had was not overly sweet which I like. For my entree I had the fried fish sandwich. It was a HUGE piece of fish. I went to the outside bar area for a retirement party & some people in our party got so lost & confused they almost never made it. Once you do find it; you'll be back, (proven by the crowded tables & bar on a Friday afternoon.) The setting & view are great; it's right on the water & there are dozens of boats docked close by. There was even a young alligator relaxing in the water right next to the patio. They had a singer/guitar player performing on the Friday I was there which added to the "fun" atmosphere. There's a full bar and decent selection of beers. The full menu features a huge selection of food items that feature many, many seafood options. I ordered the chicken tenders that came with fries. They were big pieces of white meat and there was an ample side of fries. One friend ordered the tuna appetizer and she thought it was a great appetizer with a nice presentation. So why have I not written a review of this place for such a long time??? Maybe its because secretly I want to keep it a secret... So after quite a few years and many satisfying visits, I guess its time to give up the truth about one of my happy places.. Get here a bit early to avoid the inevitable crowds. Ask to sit outside overlooking tge water and order away, because everything will be fresh and delicious.. Let's start with the drinks.. Beers and wine selection to satisfy the majority of tastes and a bar selection of mixed drinks that is both creative and very tasty... Personal favorites are the Spicy Margarita and Frozen Mojito for now.... As for food??? From Po Boys to Waygu Steak with all types of amazing offerings from the Sea in between.. For me it was the Chillean Sea Bass, (Big Sigh) pan seared in butter and served on top a Shitake Rissoto.. Amazing!!! This incredible dish was preceded by a dozen of the freshest Raspberry Point Oysters and then followed up by a slice of Orangesicle cake. All coming together to make up one of the most satisfying diners I have had in a very long time... Tonight was an exceptional night but thats not to say that every other visit was not amazing.. Great view with great food? Who could ask for anything more! When it came time for my company to plan our office holiday party, this was the first place that came to mind. I'd been here for personal lunches and large lunches, and they've knocked it out of the park every single time. Our party consisted of 20 people and when we arrived, the 2 tables were set up and there was no wait. Each table had a server dedicated to it and they were very patient and attentive to all of us. Appetizers and drinks were promptly brought out and it allowed us some time to chat and check the menu for our entrees. My favorite appetizer would be the middle neck clams. The garlic sauce at the bottom of the bowl was absolute heaven!!! And don't skip on the smoked dish dip! For an entree, I ordered the half lobster, stuffed with scallops and it was so full of flavor on its own that the butter wasn't needed. I can't recall our waitress' name but she was terrific. Cute, friendly, attentive and super nice. The food was outstanding. We all had some version of seafood and I must say, my fish and chips with 2 large shrimp was so fresh and delicious. We all ate all our food. The portions of all the sides as well were quite generous. The Shrimp Wreck Bloody Mary was something I've never had before but it was quite tasty...not too spicy. Our Red Velvet cake for dessert was large enough to share between the four of us. I will definitely be back and highly recommend. I'd been here many, many years ago when it was Marina Bay, but can't even count how long ago that was. Back in the day it was a very popular happy hour venue and also a place that held many organizations' lunch & dinner meetings. My girlfriend and I came for lunch. It's an easy access right off State Road 84 and the I-95 exit, but you have to pay attention as the right turn comes up almost immediately. Luckily some ingrained memory warned me where to turn so I got here by automatic pilot. We found a space in the parking lot along side the building then walked around to the front entrance per the signs. As it was very windy and patrons were smoking (vaping?) at the outside bar, we opted to sit inside near a window. We still got a lovely view without smoke or wind. The menu is large and has a lot of choices. In addition, the waitress recited a half dozen specials of the day, not on the menu. Service was very pleasant and fast, btw. My girlfriend decided on a cup of clam chowder and a house salad. She ordered both blue cheese dressing and a vinaigrette salad dressing. No problem, said the waitress. My friend seemed to like both the chowder and the salad. She said the soup was pretty good -- she'd rate it a 7. I got their fish and chips which was haddock. I got it fried. It came with god coleslaw and instead of the "chips" (French fries), I ordered yellow rice. I prefer fries, but figured I'd eat less of the rice. The fish was wonderful. I liked the crunchy light batter and the flaky white meat fish inside. We sat and chatted without being rushed and my girlfriend had a cup of very good regular coffee for her "dessert". Next time when the weather is better, and calmer, I'd like to sit on the outside deck. It will be fun to play tourist and sample more of their menu, especially their other seafood items. read more

Moscow Mules were tasty and use a good quality ginger beer. The seared tuna was fantastic, definitely the best dish of the evening. The crab cakes were also solid- lots of lump crabmeat and some bits of veggies, served with what I believe was a homemade remoulade. Beef satay was a new one for me; flank steak marinated on skewers and finished with a teriyaki glaze. The coconut shrimp was a total bummer. TONS of almost flavorless breading over a (very nicely sized) whole shrimp... like breaded over the shelled tail. They nailed the landing with everything else so it was kind of surprising that such an appetizer staple like coconut shrimp missed the mark so entirely. Who knows, though, maybe it was an off day. Perfect place to go by boat! We've lucked out that someone was leaving and we were able to park our boat, although we didn't realized that we can park on the left dock. This is our Second time here and so far, it hasn't disappoint at all. The service is great and so is the food. The spinach dip is so delicious, I do wish the chips were a little thicker. Too thin so it's hard to scoop up anything, but they are tasty. The lobster pops are my favorite. Nice presentation with the lobster shell. I wasn't too crazy about the conch fritters, but if you've been to Bahamas you know none can compare to Bahamian conch fritters. The sauce was good tho!
