This review is long overdue…read more. We selected Master Craftsmen after getting quotes and estimates from several companies.. some cheaper and some considerably more expensive. What we learned during our meeting with Master Craftsmen we used as leverage with the other companies. What we found is that many didn't use proper installation methods, they skipped corners to save you a couple bucks.. After a year, we are still very happy with our purchase. (FYI we replaced every window and door in our home)

They came in at a fraction of the price of every other company I received quotes from. They were professional, straightforward, never pushy, and just genuinely kind people to work with. They even stopped by my office instead of my home to complete the documents we needed. The real reason I'm writing this review, though, is because of the customer service after the sale: About a year after my installation, the window frames that are exposed to the brutal Nevada sun started to yellow. I called Window World, and even though it had been a year, they immediately offered to make it right. They sent out a representative named Alex (I hope I'm remembering his name correctly, kind gentleman in a truck and ties is hair back) and he was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to explain what had happened and walked me through a few different solutions. We decided to have the frames repainted with a specialty paint designed for the issue and within just a few days, a painter was at my house completing the work. The painter was also great. The only hiccup was that while removing my screen door, one of the handles came off without either of us noticing. There were also a few small spots of white paint left behind on my walls. I called Window World, explained the situation, and they immediately sent Alex back out. Once again, he was friendly, professional, and genuinely wanted to make sure everything was taken care of. He looked over my concerns and assured me they'd be fixed. Then he noticed that my screen had been absolutely destroyed by my dogs. I never even asked about it but he volunteered to replace the screen on the spot. That level of customer service is incredibly rare these days. From the initial sales experience to standing behind their product long after installation, Window World has been outstanding. They earned my trust and they've earned a customer for life. I won't use anyone else for my windows, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Looked at our current doors for all of 5 seconds, basically said they are hideous and then moved on to the sales pitch! Also said our hinges were not security hinges and could pull out the pin; yet he could not because they are security hinges with a center lock. He then said 9k and $8,250 for French doors - insanity!!! He also tried to sell the 9k door first like it was all they had then when we brought up the other brand they sold he said - yes they are a bit cheaper. Could care less about discussing anything except prices and going on and on and on about how they are the best and all other companies are terrible. Brought in sales material - when we commented that he appeared to be a bit high he was offended. He then began to leave and made a smart comment on his way out "Call Anderson see how much they cost, good luck."

He came to my house ONCE, which I PAID him $40 for it just to come out. I never had to pay any of the contractor just to drive to my house to give me a bid, he was the first. He gave me ONE bid. And this was back in May. He was extremely pushy and even asked me to look at my other bids which made me feel uncomfortable. After speaking to him around May, he ended up blocking me because I told him I'll get back to him. So immature!!! Anyways, fast forward, I spent close to 20k at Classic Door & Trim around July/August but with a different salesperson, not Rick. I contacted them today to do some repairs for my other doors, and they connected me to Rick again because he is the only one who does repairs. He didn't remember me at first but I sent him photos with my boyfriend's phone (since he blocked my phone number). He then called me and said he wasted too much time the first time and he's going to pass on the job. Again, he came to my house once, I spoke to him for a day or two max, gave me one bid that I paid for. And I even told him I got my interior doors from them. I don't need to give him the job, if he doesn't want to take it then that's his loss. How entitled do you have to be?? And back in May, he asked me to pay him under the table for the labor even though I'm suppose to go through the company. So you can just see what type of man he is!

In all, 21 windows and the sliding door were replaced with upgraded beautiful vinyl windows and what a difference they make to the overall aesthetic, temperature and lighting in our 1989 home. No question, they are well worth the investment of 20K. Shoutout to the Desert King team: Robert was very knowledgeable and provided us with lots of information and options so we could make the best decision for what product would work best with our home and also be in compliance with our HOA regulations. Jason came by to measure twice to ensure accuracy and Bridget kept us updated on the timeline of the project. The shining star was Freddie and his installation crew. They knocked the entire project out in one long day! From demo to cleanup the entire crew worked like skilled clockwork and were all very respectful of our home. They left it very clean and tidy. Not only did they NOT show up, I also messaged 3 more times asking how much the service call would be and never received a response. In 2023, I had the Rollers replaced and the track replaced at $468.00. When I called, they had my info and said the tech had already left the area, and they would have someone here on Monday. Sorry, but if I had a customer waiting 4 hours for me to show up and it was my fault, I'd MAKE IT WORK! Maybe this business has too much on its plate to care. Now, on to find someone reliable to help me with the sliding door.
