We visit Holland 2-3 times per year, and are always on the lookout for a new dinner spot. The hubby was in the mood for a smash burger, so Repp's Landing was the appointed destination! I'll be honest, when he had been rattling off the menu from his phone earlier in the day, I was kinda like "Yeah, yeah...just pick a spot out of the 3 we are considering". But when I sat down and actually looked they won my heart with the little blurb about a short menu of things done really well. And I'm here to tell you, they speak the truth! I indulged in their margarita (they spell it differently) because of the sumac syrup...I have sumac in my kitchen and feel that it's a highly underrated spice! The hubs had the old fashioned. Drinks were delicious and well-balanced. He had a little bowl of the brisket baked beans for his appetizer and his eyes actually rolled heavenward. After querying our server Bridget about the sourcing of the oysters (wary Florida girl here) I got a half dozen raw on the half shell and was SO glad that I did! The horseradish and mignonette complemented both varieties of oyster very well, and the house hot sauce was the perfect level of heat! I'm not ashamed to say that I slurped those suckers right out of the shell backyard style, even though they included nice little forks. For dinner he had the Bob smash burger with fries (he says that he's a traditional guy, ordered it just as written, and finished all of it...the fried onions were crispy down to the last bite) and I had the Obie Green sandwich, their vegetarian offering even though ya girl is clearly not vegetarian after scarfing those oysters. This was my turn for my eyes to roll heavenward! The marinated eggplant (it's not slices...it's shredded/mashed into a beautiful little eggplant pate) has a balsamic sweetness to it, and coupled with the brininess of the olives it hit just the right note! We had zero space left for dessert, but seriously eyes the sweet fry biscuits...maybe next time because we will DEFINITELY be back! Sorry no pics of the apps - I was too excited to dive in!

As someone with celiac disease, eating out can be stressful, but when I informed our server, he immediately reassured me that they take cross-contamination seriously and ensure a safe meal. While they do offer outdoor dining, we opted to sit inside, and the service and food were fantastic from start to finish. To drink, I started with the kiwi pineapple margarita--they offer multiple types of rims, and I went with sugar, which was delicious. The summer sangria also sounded amazing, but I stuck with the margarita since it was guaranteed gluten-free. For food, we shared the ricotta with gluten-free toast, and for my main, I had the Beyond Burger on a gluten-free bun with a side of chips that were confirmed to be safely gluten-free. Finding a place that is this accommodating, knowledgeable, and delicious is rare, and it made our trip so much better!

We had to go around the block multiple times before we found a space behind the parking lot behind the restaurant. When we got into the restaurant was packed on a Tuesday night. There was a short waiting list that moved pretty quickly. The main reasons for going there was to try their James Beard award winning Trumpet burger. I also ordered an amber ale that was pretty good. It was good but coming from Chicago there are several burgers that I feel are better. Places like Au Chaval & Little Bad Wolf to name a few. My wife ordered a Mediterranean style pizza. Again coming from Chicago the pizza was very average. How can you compare this to Pequods or Lou Malnati? Hops draws a large crowd and really packs the people in. They have a good lively crowd w/a nice selection of food & beers. It was an enjoyable meal in a very crowd friendly. Kaitlyn was our beautiful server that made the meal much more pleasant w/her charming personality

Because of her caring attitude, I have bumped up my rating from 3 stars to 4. The atmosphere and vibe is really fun with funky artwork and bright colors everywhere. It's a little noisy but not uncomfortably so, it feels maybe more lively than noisy. The menu was good and varied and I think you'd be hard-pressed not to find something for everyone in your group. We were a group of four and split an appetizer sampler. I enjoyed a local pilsner with my meal as the beer menu was good with a lot to choose from. Our server unfortunately was horrible and developed an attitude with us during our meal when we apparently had the audacity to ask for our waters to be refilled and one of our party received the wrong food item and asked for the one she ordered. After that, the server was snippy and short with us which was a shame on both parts because our experience was hampered and her tip reflected that. The food in general was good but not excellent. I would have given the place 4 stars for the logo (awesome), the vibe and the food but the server knocked a star off. Still worth a visit if you're in Holland especially if you're with a group with varied tastes and picky eaters.

The menu is very robust with a balance of flavor fusion and fan favs. The Bacon Jam Session was fantastic, and I highly recommend this to a friend. The peanut butter aioli ties the bacon jam together nicely. The buffalo Mac was pretty good, but the truffle fries were a highlight. The seasoning really made the meal. The service was not stellar. We were seated outside and our server made very minimal effort to come out and see us. She was quickly rushing off before we could ask a question or make a request. I felt like we must have been a bother at 8:00 pm on a Friday.

When my Food arrived I requested to have my fries remade since they were NOT HOT & had most likely been sitting under a light ( is my guess ) for a while. After 25 minutes fresh fries did arrive but as you might imagine now my sandwich was COLD.I asked my waitress ( who was lovely in every way!!!! ) to please send a manager over so I could express my frustration. The manager was apologetic & comped my food - but fun fact,I now had a cold sandwich with hot fries. Literally one was switched for the other. Although I appreciate the slight concern, it would have been nice to offer me an altogether HOT meal complete with everything HOT at the same time.Am I asking too much? I didn't get a meal that day- just some hot fries.....& actually the thought of this still annoys me. Please consider the entire meal & remember,I came to EAT not "negotiate " 1/2 of a HOT meal. SO ANNOYING!!!!!!! Do better New Holland,Please .

The service was excellent -- perfectly timed, without a single unnecessary wait. The prices felt very reasonable for the quality and level of the restaurant. I usually love to finish a great dinner with dessert, and since the food was so good, I skipped appetizers and saved room. The four of us tried all three desserts on the menu. Given how impressed I was with the food, I expected a little more from the desserts. They were good, but for me, they didn't quite reach the same level as the rest of the meal. Overall, Seventy-Six is a wonderful, atmospheric restaurant that made our trip to Holland even more enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend it.

Our waitress was really nice and overall service was quick. We ordered the Lemon Chicken and the Wedge Salad. The reason why I'm giving this restaurant 3 stars is mainly because of the chicken dish. I was expecting it to be more citrusy, but I feel like whatever lemon flavor it was meant to have was lost by some sort of sweetness. I think the Meyer lemon butter made the dish was so oddly sweet it mixed in with the rice underneath. Overall, this dish was sadly disappointing since we were looking forward to something savory and herby but got what felt like a sugar bomb for chicken. The salad was good and loaded with toppings, however, I felt like there was way too much dressing that drowned the salad once it was all mixed. If possible, I would get the dressing on the side. All in all, great ambiance, good service and a wonderful location. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong things. Still worth checking out, if you're in the area!
