I needed a new color for my cat and decided to see what PetSmart had available…read more This location has cats for adoption and doggy day care. They have a nice selection of pet food and treats. I did find the isle with the cat collars and was happy to see they had a nice selection. Since my cat is indoor and outdoor, I always get him a collar with the easy release. I made my selection and headed to the checkout. I had to wait for an employee to come to the checkout because nobody was there. They seem very understaffed for such a large store. I was very happy with my purchase and hope my cat likes it.

The training was very individualized as there was only one other dog in her class. We also visit the grooming services to get Lucy's nails trimmed/grinded. She absolutely hates it and wiggles like crazy, but the staff does such a good job with her. I feel guilty that it's usually a group effort for at least two groomers to hold her steady (and she's a small, 15 pound dog!) but they are always so gracious and get the job done without complaint. The PetHotel is where we board Lucy on the rare occasion we travel without her (2-3 times per year). It makes me anxious to not be with our girl, but Petsmart is very receptive to check in calls and sends photos of her at playtime with other dogs. The price for boarding is reasonable and I know she is in good hands.

I came here for my pitty's birthday last month near Christmas time because my boyfriend and I…read morewanted to get her a cake or some baked goods to celebrate. We found this place through Yelp and it was the closest to our all of our errands we had to run. We called beforehand and for holiday season, they were closing early at 2pm. We went around 12pm and the boutique was quite busy. The store is small inside, so it was hard to maneuver down the aisles to look around. I think because they are closing shop soon, so most products inside had a certain percentage off. We ended up getting our fur babies a knitted beanie, a jersey along with the baked goods they had available such as the cupcakes and peanut butter bites. Even after the store closing discounts, we found the total price to be expensive but we didn't really mind because it was for our pitty's birthday. The baked goods section is what it seems like most people come for. I read comments on Yelp after we had went here saying that other people's babies got sick from the treats and baked goods. We got lucky that three of our babies turned out fine after eating it, they seemed to really enjoy the treats. Only downside was that I did feel like the workers here really watch and somewhat follow you around the store. My boyfriend was in line for the baked goods, so I went to take a look around at the accessories (collars, leash and toys) but felt like the worker kept watching me so I got uncomfortable and eventually went back in line with my boyfriend. We had a good experience with the owner herself though since she was the one who helped us packaging the pastries.

It turns out they do have a small section with catnip, cat treats, and toys. My cat had unsuccessfully tried to stop me from leaving the house this morning and I felt bad for him, so I bought him a crinkle catnip animal. He won't go near it and actually seems afraid of it. (This is a nice store with tons of toys, clothes, and treats for dogs.)

The guy (I dont know if he is the owner) has always been nice even though im only coming in to look for new discus fish, he has never treated me badly for not buying. When he does have discus, its always priced very fair and in good condition, if the fish are sick he will let me know ahead of time and to address the past review about fish being sick is that fish get sick all the time due to the stress environment even if they're not sick at the time of purchase, once you add it to your aquarium can get sick from the environment you put them into so its not always the place you bought it and it's just part of the process. This place has always been upfront and honest about everything and informational when fish starting out with purchasing a type of species of any fish. I've also bought fish here that died under my care but I take 100% responsibility. I will continue to come here and purchase.

We later realized we most likely need a bigger tank as these red comets grow like kois... we had intentions of getting fish that only grows a few inches and without needing a bigger tank. We asked for the easiest fish to raise... but we should have asked easiest fish to raise that stays small! *facepalm* Overall good shopping experience...

How I came to know about San Jose Bengal Cats and Rene was at the Campbell farmer's market where…read moresomeone had a cat in their backpack. I reached out asking so many questions earlier this year but the timing just wasn't right. Rene actually reached out to me because he knew I was looking for one without spots. Naturally, I asked for a photo and just HAD to go meet her. Rene is very patient and cares deeply for these cats. You can see his engagement with these babies and how much he cares for them. The day he reached out, I was able to visit the cattery and that was the beginning of the end. You're able to hold the kitty with a deposit until when you're ready to bring them home. They come with the basic vaccines, a week worth of wet and dry food, and he will send pedigree papers once they're spayed/neutered. We love our dear girl and hope others will be able to find great homes! As he said, we're now family.

And we were even more pleased with the conversation we had with the owner Rene. He was super helpful and answered all of our questions. You can tell how much he loves his work and his cats. We were particularly interested in a Bengal cat because they are supposed to be more hypoallergenic than other cats, and so far, we can see why. Almost no cat hair left anywhere. Although cat dander is where most of allergies come from, these cats have less of that too. Apparently, these cats are very smart and can be trained to travel with you on a leash like a dog; so we are starting our training now and it is going well. Rene was happy to chat about how to train our cat, and we never felt rushed. We highly recommend San Jose Bengal Cats!
