My wife called for lunch and she wanted to go here, said she loves their cap'n crunch chicken tenders and wanted me to try them. I was not really wanting those, blackened chicken sounded better. The blackened chicken sandwich comes with habanero jack cheese and, with an upcharge, jalapeno sourdough bun. The menu is American, but with a number of twists that really had me excited about trying it! My wife chose the sweet potato fries and I got the garlic parmesan. When our orders came, hers were the same as mine and not hot at all, maybe barely warm, not cold though. The chicken was grilled with a little seasoning, not blackened. I asked for hot sauce and made due. I will say that both the server and the manager offered to take it back and redo it, but I just do not like to send food back. They did bring my wife her sweet potato fries. She loves the tenders (too sweet for me, I prefer the savory...thus the blackening and hot sauce). The manager admitted they really just flat iron with season their chicken, not really blackened....and the habanero jack cheese wasn't hot at all. Because the server was so nice, as well as the manager, I gave them three stars, anywhere else where I spent $40 (tip plus meal), the score would have been lower. NOT SAFE FOR WOMEN. The food and wait staff here are always great, however the bar and "late nights" are not safe for women. The bartenders always seem to have a bad attitude and specifically Rod Ramirez is a danger to women as well as security. He will put your drinks out of your line of sight AND reach then tell you "right in front of your fucking face" when you ask about them. He will then have you violently ripped out of the establishment when confronted about how his attitude is unnecessary and his actions are dangerous even though you are leaving on your own accord. The security staff also seem to just be waiting for a chance to be unnecessarily violent towards women. They will not be cordial or ask you to leave, nor care if you are already headed towards the door, they will just jump you. If you go here I recommend before the late night hours kick in and only using waitstaff as they are always pleasant and do a great job. read more

Great time at the Reservoir. $2.00 mimosas are great! The food is great and the music was amazing. Jacob made our brunch easy and painless. We came with a big group to enjoy the live music and our experience wouldn't have been the same without Jacob. We will continue coming back here because of the great experience my group just had. So we call ahead Thursday with a 25 top for my bosses birthday, the big 40!! We ask if they can get us in and how long of a wait. The manager tells us no wait and we can fit you guys in no problem. I will set the stage with things that are going to cause an issue: 1. Both managers are totally oblivious to the massive teachers conference going on right next door. 2. They only staffed enough people for a basic slow lunch. 3. They don't have real flex seating. 4. The young female manager needs to take a class on hospitality. 5. Male manager is in the window expoing. No QA. We show up at 12:20pm and here we go! We walk in past what had to be a 1000 teachers all over the place. We get seated in multiple sections. Some guy walks up and asks if he can bring us waters while we wait, he returns with water, never comes back again. Meanwhile, people from the conference are coming in, some seated pissed and others getting their food, immediately packing it up Togo and leaving mad. Finally the female manager comes by to check on us and tells us there will be two servers taking care of us, FYI, never happened. It's now 12:40pm and the manager comes by to take our order by name on a piece of receipt paper. She takes it and instead of putting the order in, she goes to help the bartender and check on other tables. It's now 1:05pm and I see her finally make her way to the terminal to put in our food order, hmm.. thank you 25 minute pocket check. At 1:30pm, been here for an hour and 10 minutes, the manager tells our food is going to be another 30 minutes!!! Wow! Wow! Wow! It's now 1:50pm and I'm the first person to get my food, that had been sitting on the line for 20+ minutes, thank you open kitchen concept. I finished my food by the time the rest of the food started coming out. It's now 2:00pm and the last plate hits the table. Yep. An hour and forty minute ticket time on the last plate an hour and a half on the first plate. FYI, to add insult to injury, orders for Bruce and Sunshine had hair in their food, glance in the kitchen, no hair nets, yeah!! Fun fact, everyone at our multiple tables was drinking, but we had to go to the bar to order, because we never got a server. Now the great part, and I do mean great!! The young female manager fought with one of our employees, made every excuse in the book and denied offering anything to apologize for keeping us there till now, 2:30pm. At this point, we had to talk to Clayton, the manager with a brain and he comped it all and sent us back to work after a two hour and ten minute failed birthday lunch celebration. This is a nice place, that is grossly mismanaged and the lack of business should be a key indicator. And how do you NOT know about the 1000+ people coming for the conference next door and staff up? The only thing the young manager kept saying was, it's not our fault and you got your food and you're paying for it!! LAST = Listen, Apologize, Solve, Thank.. hospitality 101.. learn it.. the more I see restaurants have experiences like this, the mI feel like I should come back to the business or just avoid it all together because the guest experience across the board is failing. Great restaurant! Came here on a Sunday afternoon and they had some good drink specials and a nice calm vibe. Plenty of TVs so we'll definitely have to come back when there's a good game on. I got the brisket skillet which was awesome, and my girlfriend got the chicken and waffles which was great as well. We have never been to Reservoir before so we decided to check it out. WORST mistake ever! We ordered 2 house whiskey/coke, 4 domestic beers, and 1 shot and the bill came out to be $300! The food and drinks are tasty, but the service is very slow. My friends and I started off sitting on the bar and it took around 20 minutes for the bartender to even look in our direction. I recommend ordering two drinks at once because after we finished our first round, it took another 20 minutes to order another drink. We quickly closed out our tab at the bar and got a table, but the waitresses are even slower than the bartenders. The food okay I guess, but not worth the wait. There were dogs everywhere in the restaurant and this lady that CLEARLY was intoxicated came to our table and told us to tell the dog to SHUT THE F$#% UP from barking. The fact that our dog was barking a bit because duh its a dog wasn't what irritated me but the fact that this intoxicated lady said this in front of my 4 year old niece and the manager clearly heard her and said nothing. No apology absolutely NOTHING. WE WERE HAVING A GREAT TIME UNTIL THIS INTOXICATED LADY YELLED AND CURSED IN FRON OF MY NIEVE KILLED OUR GOOD TIME. Went there after a Latin concert to finish off the night with a couple more drinks. Service and food was ok. Only complaint is that all LATIN artists were blocked off the JUKEBOX. I don't see why this is permitted when one is spending their money there and even pays for the music of their preference. I was there with a colleague last Saturday night. It was fairly busy but we were seated right away. After waiting a few minutes the server came over. She asked if we wanted something to drink. We said we would have water and then decide if we wanted something else. After about 10 minutes she finally came back and took our drink and food orders. We noticed a large party of 8 that was then seated next to us. Wow, they were getting very attentive service. Our server would race past our table to theirs without even glancing in our direction. Finally, another server came over with our drinks. After what seemed like a very long time, our food order came. She told me to be careful as my skittle dinner had just come out of the oven and the skillet was very hot. After tasting a bite of my food which was not out of the oven hot, I felt my skillet. I could easily wrap my hands around it and it was clear that it had been sitting in the kitchen for a while. As we finished our meal with never a "is everything ok and can I get you anything else" from our server with empty water glasses and parched throats, we waited and waited and waited while we saw her back and forth to the table next to us. We finally caught her as she was breezing past and told her we were ready for our checks. After more minutes passed, she brought the checks. As our credit cards and checks languished at the edge of the table to be rung up, we had to chase her down again. To which she told us that she was very busy with the table next to ours. Uh....no duh. I guess a table of 8 is way more important than our little table of 2. When the checks and credit cards were finally brought back, we signed our checks. After signing mine, I noticed that she gave me the wrong check. My colleague and I noticed that our checks were for the same amount so we didn't want to wait for this to be corrected as the cost was the same, so we left the restaurant. After flying back home and going to use my credit card again, it turned out that she had gotten our credit cards mixed up. My colleague and I had to expedite the return of our cards to each other. What a pain. Well, today I checked my credit card statement and saw a charge that didn't match the receipt. My card was charged an extra $7.00 on top of what I had a receipt for. I tried to find a phone number to call the restaurant. There isn't one on the receipt and the number on their facebook page just goes to a voicemail that says "the person at this extension is not available, please leave a message". I have no idea if this is the restaurant or not, since there is nothing to identify the number. I would not recommend this restaurant. read more

But if you're trying to jam and take advantage of the touch tunes they have installed, make sure you make the music count cause the bartenders and workers will unplug it when they feel like and just play their own techno music. The food was really good and they had music playing which gave it a fun vibe for Saturday afternoon. Half the restaurant is open to the outside which is nice when the weather corporates. I have no idea how this place only has a 3 star rating. This is my FAVORITE restaurant for brunch, lunch and dinner. The mimosas are incredible and the food is insane! Definitely a must. If you haven't been here, you're missing out. The lasagna is to die for. The 'everything but the kitchen sink' is the best cure for hangovers, and it is served IN a kitchen sink. Great ambiance and service. If you don't want a loud scene, go during the day or during weekdays. It can get pretty loud at nights on the weekend. They also have a dog friendly patio! Because of him and the amazing food we came back a couple nights later and Zoey was also perfection! We appreciated the detailed service and laid back environment and the food is to die for. I was then called out of my name, threatened by a man and cursed out by another one of the patrons and treated extremely poorly. First time visiting before going to a movie. Sunday brunch menu has a good variety and I went with tomato basil soup on a bread bowl with sweet potato fries. Both were delicious. The soup and bread bowl was hot and perfect for a chilly day. The fries were in the window a little too long and got cold quickly. We will definitely be back. read more
