This cut was probably one of the worst ones I've had thanks to Daniel. I showed him a tiktok of what kind of hairstyle I wanted which was a middle part with a low drop fade. I told him I only wanted around an inch off the top. He gave the video a brief look and told me he understood. Unfortunately, it seems like he didn't know what a middle part was because he literally cut the left side/bangs 2 inches shorter than the right. I even offered him to look at the tiktok again to remind him of the style I wanted but he said "I got it". Spoiler alert, he didn't. At this point I was pretty annoyed so I asked him to even it out by cutting the right bangs shorter. In the end my hair was so short I couldn't even have a middle part.I also found out after that Daniel didn't even blend in the fade at the back of my head at all. Maybe that's why he only showed the front of my hair in the mirror...He was also quite distracted throughout the haircut due to watching Netflix on the TV. He would literally stand still for 5 seconds with the razor in his hand while his eyes were glued on the TV. Just watch "You" at home dude. All in all, not only was it a bad haircut but also extremely unprofessional. I had to go back home and try to fix the haircut myself but he messed it up so bad I'm forced to change my hairstyle completely. I've included pictures of the cut right after and pictures of the hairstyle I wanted and showed to him. I wish I could give negative stars. Avoid Daniel if you're looking for anything more complex than a fade and a buzz cut. read more

I came across Ricky's page on Instagram and I quickly became interested when I sent out a message to book an appointment last minute for my 2 kids and he replied within minutes! I booked both appointments with him. Ricky was very helpful when it came down to choosing which haircut would be best for my kids! He recommended a mid fade on both my kids with the top slightly trimmed so we went with it. When I tell you I loved the service & haircut that he did for both my kids , I mean it! Haircut prices are very affordable and he accepts both Cash & Card which not a lot of barbershops do ( accept card ) The place is very clean & they're taking extra precautions with sanitation! MY BOY DANIEL OVER HERE KILLS IT EVERY TIME! I have a head more bald than the bald eagle and I like it nice and smooth! No missed spots just like Mr. Clean's head you know what I'm saying? Kind of hard to find at first but it's on the second floor of the shopping center building on the corner of Gridley and 183rd. I set up an appointment through Yelp conversation and Daniel followed up with me when I was a few minutes late -- I was lost so that was helpful. Daniel's got some serious skills cutting hair, it's definitely the freshest skin fade I've gotten in a while. What they did with the small space is actually very aesthetically pleasing. They took all necessary precautions to mitigate the spread of the virus. I will be returning here for my bi-weekly haircuts. read more

Best barber in L.A. hands down. Daniel has been cutting my hair for many years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Went from undercut to hard parts to shaved head and designs, got it all covered in a clean and affordable manner. Also, extremely time efficient with the haircuts and often finishes early. Man where to begin... first of all shout out RICK !! Due to Covid I had to start looking around for another barber and most of us know how that goes. #loyalty The first place I checked was yelp typed in " barbers " saw multiple options in Cerritos ,Lakewood, Norwalk etc.... First thing I did was check all their ratings/reviews to see what was I to expect all were good was a bit nervous to call and book an appointment but finally decided to do it spoke with Rick time date was set cool. Walked in honestly was vibing had some music going on felt very welcoming finally the cut ! Showed Rick some pictures of how I wanted my cut said ok cool mannnn the way Rick used the clippers from open to close I knew I was going to like this shop ! Asked for a mid/low taper trim on top 1 1/2 and when I saw what I got loved it ! Crispy ! Can't leave out the fact he lined up my beard Taper lasted me about 2 1/2 weeks close to 3 can't complain even when my hair is growing back it still looks good ! 10/10 I would recommend this barber shop for anyone trying to get cut right !! read more
