No blue cheese that I paid extra for and the burger was not cooked correctly it was cooked well done. Smdh. So the waiter brought me my blue cheese apologized about it and also gave me a mayo bottle. Even with the burger still was not good and the patty was so thick with no flavor not even salt and pepper was in it!! I tried their punch drink which was really good but for $15 a pop in a regular water glass was ridiculous. Make sure you don't get too tipsy as they already have like a 20% gratuity added on each of our checks no matter how small or big your group is which again is ridiculous! Will I come back...maybe only because I would like to try some Jamaican food they offer. But for brunch...it's a no for me!

Today, I gave them another shot because Uber Eats was offering a buy one, get one free deal on the jerk chicken meal. I chose rice & peas with plantain for my sides. The chicken was cooked on the grill--which I love--because it really brings out the flavor in jerk chicken. I also requested my jerk sauce on the side since I prefer a dry rub style over a saucy one. The only drawback was the small bone pieces in the chicken and rice. That's something to be cautious about, especially if a child is eating the meal. The plantains were also inconsistent--some pieces were hard, while others were mushy. On the bright side, the coco bread was perfect and the Jamaican rum cake was phenomenal. Whoever baked that cake clearly took their time soaking it in rum. It reminded me of the way my grandmother used to make it--absolutely delicious. I would definitely order the rum cake again.

Today we ordered The Buffalo Chicken Nachos which honesty is always good here, the right amount of everything and layered nicely so you do not get to the bottom and just find chips, the goodness goes all the way to the bottom and the order is more than you can eat. This is only my 23rd 1-star review and crazy the 2nd business in this shopping center! See my 1-star review of Tropical Smoothie Cafe written last week (updated from my 2023 2-star review) of them. Maybe 1-2 years ago I ordered my food, and then asked for a cup of water. The guy said we have bottled water for sale, and I said no, just a free cup of water with my meal. He said we don't do that here, and told him I'm not giving any money and to cancel my order. I suggested to him that they should start giving courtesy cups of water with meal. A few months ago I was over there, and I wanted to test if Naz's changed a year later. They still didn't. The cashier said that all the Naz's don't offer the courtesy cup except for Columbia location as they had taken over the Halal Guys, which the set up of the restaurant was different for the coke machine. I've considered to try the Columbia location once, but I'm skeptical because it's still Naz's company policy to not offer courtesy cup of water to a paying food customer. It's not just that the Burtonsville only location are being jerks; it's Naz's as a whole. On Sunday, July 13, as a hail mary after the 1-star Burtonsville Tropical Smoothie Cafe right next door (see my recent review) was going to charge me $1.35 per cup of water even though we would've been paying customers. I said to my girlfriend, I'm sure Naz's will deny the water too, but let's test them, and I asked do you give a free cup of water with meal, which cashier once again said no. So, we ended up at ISAAC's across the street. I'll get around to a 5-star review of them in the future. My girlfriend said this shopping center sucks! Only Tropical Smoothie to not give courtesy cup + Naz's right next door. Also, it's the worst Roy Rogers location even though in March 2019, I see I wrote a 4-star review; various more recent experiences warrant 2-star for them if I ever get around to it. And the worst Greene Turtle I've been to; see my 3-star of the Burtonsville location. For good restaurants, go across the street to ISAAC's, Playa Bowl, or even freakin' Chipotle!
