I was here last weekend with my family & partner for lunch. The food was amazing! We enjoyed all of our dishes. Our waiter was spectacular! She was very attentive. And the ambiance was great for the family to talk, catch up, and enjoy our meals.

Our stay at the Marriott Marquis required a resort fee that included a daily $40 food and beverage credit so we used it up here before we checked out. Can't really buy much for $40 so we opted to try the mussels with fries. Somewhat of a strange combination but the total comes out to just under $40 after tax and gratuity. It wasn't very busy so we were seated immediately. The mussels and fries came out pretty quickly and our server refilled our water several times. Overall fries were nice and crispy. I enjoyed it with the ketchup that I actually needed them to bring more of. The mussels were tiny but there was a decent sized plate of them...although mostly shell. I don't think the flavor of the broth was rich enough, and I wished there was some crusty bread to go with it...but it was good enough that I finished everything.

Whenever I'm out at a trusted cocktail bar, a Paper Plane is a MUST for me. Service was really good. We sat near the section with a panoramic view of Times Square - a real treat!

Let me tell you my server Habib was on it. We had to call the supervisor over to let him know how great the service was. The food was fresh and the drinks were spot on. I had avery special birthday. The ambiance was beautiful and well lit. 10/10 will do again.

Not a five star restaurant but better than a three. The food is not bad and I wasn't expecting outstanding cuisine. This is more for a convenient location to dine while staying at the Marriot in between visits exploring the city. Prices are to be expected. Not a bad selection to choose from. We came for a late lunch so it wasn't too busy. That made service fairly quick. As it got later the tables were filling up and getting the check took some scanning of the restaurant for our server and finally eye contact. Lol.

We had the most amazing steak and fries but the hotel shoves everyone into a tiny square for lunch with Zero view of Times Square. So I had to self serve myself in order to enjoy a slight view of Times Square. We recommend the steak MR and it was so good we were about to order a second one for lunch. It is a shame this property with an outstanding view has guest sitting in the back for lunch looking at walls. I wonder how much service charge will apply since I have to carry my own food and drinks and walk over to pay?

I liked how convenient this restaurant is when i stayed at the Marriott Marquis. Our waitress was awesome very attentive. Food was excellent. The restaurant has an amazing view if seating on a window table.

We're staying at the hotel (Marriott Marquis) so we decided to stop here after being out a short time and what a disappointment. We only ordered the cheese platter and the spinach and artichoke dip, both were extremely disappointing. I will say the service provided by Ruth was good to start but after sensing we were not pleased, she walked away and didn't return. We had to request her through another server. The 2 simple items we ordered were overly salty and two of the three cheeses on the platter were extremely hard. The jam on the platter was flavorful but the overall platter was lacking A LOT which is quite disappointing because that's one of our things on vacay, we share a charcuterie board at the end of the night. I think my sisters are willing to come back to try other items but ehhh, I don't have to rerun but will let you know if I do.

We're three young women in the service industry and still felt completely unwelcome--the hostess told us to find our own seating even though the sign said see hostess. The bartender was rude and uninterested, standing 5 min+ at the bar without even being acknowledged. Another staff member was dismissive when closing us out and rolled her eyes when asked to take cash. The overall vibe felt like we weren't wanted, even though it was only around 11 PM. The DJ was underwhelming and the bathroom was vile. The most pleasant part was the below average $20 drinks. For an expensive, well-known spot, this was a very poor experience. Couldn't pay me to return.

The bartender knew the drinks inside and out and was able to make some good recommendations. We had the Profunda and two of us had the Imprimatura. Creative, thoughtful, balanced! We also ordered spiced nuts and half a dozen oysters, which were fresh and tender. The bar area was modern and lovely so we were almost reluctant to depart when our table was ready! However, that reluctance dissipated when we entered the bright and airy dining room. It felt like we were eating in a very upscale greenhouse! Great natural light made for a relaxing atmosphere. We opted for the 3-course menu as we had plans to tour the museum afterwards and couldn't fathom doing so after the 8-course tasting menu! We also did the add-on wine pairing. Initially, we were going to order a bottle of wine but the wine list is 150 pages long, and why tie yourself to one varietal? Before the meal even began, we enjoyed 2 amuse bouche offerings; a fish confection and jamon serrano on crackers We started with the eggs on eggs on eggs - completely worth the supplement; unctuous, umamai, decadent. A symphony of flavors and textures. Since there were 3 of us, the server thoughtfully brought out 3 toasts so we could easily share. Before the "real" food started arriving, we were also brought a marble loaf and light, airy butter. Two of us started with the chilled lobster starter; one had the white bean cappelletti. The white beans were the standout! The garlic flavor was a beautiful compliment to the meaty morels without being overpowering, and we were very glad for the marble loaf to soak up the sauce! While the lobster was super fresh and the dish executed perfectly, the lemon was a tad overpowering. The bartender highly recommended the chicken; however, two of us opted for the sea trout and one had the pork. I didn't sample the pork, but the sea trout was velvety and rich, with a beautifully scented saffron broth. To finish, we had the dark chocolate cremeux (complex, adult, DANGEROUS!), the yuzu gelato (fresh and tart!) and the deconstructed carrot cake (cozy and familiar). A note about the wine - Isabelle the sommelier was a true standout! She chose some unusual pairings that worked perfectly with our meals and explained in good detail about each wine and why she selected it. In addition to having a perfect pairing, we also got some good educational enrichment. Isabelle is clearly passionate about wine and her selections and service really added to the meal. The Modern was a true treat!

The place was packed! The dinner items are so intriguing. Why did I love it so much? Because it was like art, but also delicious. I can highly recommend the tableside butter service. A giant cart with a mountain of butter is rolled to your area. In the most entertaining way, butter is scooped and prepared on a marble slab then served to you and yours with many little accoutrements. It was way too much for two people, but we loved every bite. Le grand croissant is an amazingly decadent giant croissant filled with Nutella and accompanied with jam, pistachio, honey sides etc. it was great, but seemed like it should've been more a dessert option rather than an appetizer as it was extremely sweet.
