My boyfriend and I came here for Sunday brunch and really enjoyed the service, atmosphere and drink specials. It was a great place to hang out on a nice Sunday afternoon. However, the food prices are ridiculous for the small portions that we received and I probably won't be back to eat again. My boyfriend got the buffalo wings and waffle plate, and I got the breakfast sandwich. We were both really disappointed with how the portions turned out. Don't get me wrong the food was good BUT we were both hungry afterwards. We will probably come back and just get the $10 carafe of mimosas and eat prior or get an appetizer to share. A nice balance between sports bar, cozy patio and restaurant. Revelry does all of these things well and while some of the prices were a little high, the happy hour justifies giving it a try. My favorites from here are: -Chicken Tacos - Pulled Pork Sandwich - Chilli Cheese Fries The tacos were fresh, seasoned well but not overdone. Pulled park sandwich was the perfect balance of meat to bun ratio. Chili fries had just the right amount of salt and chili to leave a mouthwatering impression. I was extremely excited to try this restaurant just because I'm a local foodie and I've pretty much eaten everywhere in ATX. My experience was terrible. Being in the service industry for 7 plus years, I know the standard of service a guest should receive and this wasn't it. As I walked up, I wasn't greeted, then the server proceeded to tell me how everything worked rather dry and bland I might say. It was honestly weird because it seemed everyone else on the patio was receiving pretty decent service. As I went inside to order, just didn't feel welcomed, which is more prevalent in ATX now since the great migration of non-Texans. However, I ordered food and drinks. They were out of their "famous" gumbo, which was okay. I ordered carne asada tacos and a lavender Collins. The tacos lacked flavor and were in close comparison to a crunchy taco from Taco Bell. This spot is amazing! Awesome atmosphere, sits a little above East 6th St. Food is fantastic, their Chef knows how to throw the food down. You must try the RKB Burger, with smashed avocado & bacon. It's in the Top 5 of burgers in Austin. The Portabella Mushroom fries appetizer is phenomenal, and another must try are the Carne Asada tacos. As you can see, the food is a favorite, and their is so much more to check out. The staff is awesome! Friendly, Warm, Nothing but love for everyone that passes through here! Really great food and some of the best staff on the east side - And quality has not dipped once after dozens of visits this past year (mostly takeout). My fav appetizer is the Brussels sprouts, bean dip close second. Best entree is a tie between the Korean bbq grilled cheese and the PBLT, and highly recommend the onion rings - enough for two people (or one me). read more

I was in the area with my fiancé and my dog and thought we'd check out this place. It's definitely more bar than kitchen, but their food was great! I got the chicken lollipop wings with rendang sauce, delicious! We shared a Dos Taco with steak and that was delicious too, and my fiancé also had a chicken sandwich (more like burger) and he loved it. It's rare to find a bar with good food, but this place is great! The patio was nice but there were some flies roaming in the air that was just kind of annoying... and while this isn't Revelry's fault... there were tons of people smoking in the patio... really didn't like that. read more

I was invited to a happy hour here. I didn't recognize the name of the place so I didn't have any expectations. I found it to be an ideal happy hour spot! It was just the right degree of busy - not creepy slow and not so busy it was annoying. Just about the perfect amount of noise as well. I don't quite understand all the excellent reviews. We stopped in for a drink or two and some food. I ordered the chicken tacos. They tasted like someone poured a packet of taco spices on them right before they were served and the tortillas were just bad. How do you screw up tortillas in Austin? They fries were soggy and covered in so much power they were hard to eat. They drinks were fine, but that was the smallest $6 gin and tonic I've ever had. I had the lemon pepper wings and the chicken tacos. They were both delicious. The wings were well-seasoned and crispy. The tortilla for the tacos was a flour blend but it surprised be because it was really good. The chicken in the tacos was also spiced well and the queso fresco gave it a nice taste. read more

Got to check out Revelry on their Grand Opening and I was impressed. Food options are great and the space is really impressive. Cornhole and other games on one side and a great patio out front. Plenty of seating, good tv's in the inside bar for sports, and an overall solid drink list. Very different than many of the bars that dot the Eastside but overall a welcome addition to the neighborhood. read more

BEST WINGS IN TOWN. In one week I tried wings at Buffalo WW, Tommy want wingy, and revelry all for the first time. Tommy was good, but not as good as Revelry. The selection of flavors isn't massive but each one is perfect (wifey and I tried them all, two times). Drinks are good, service is even better. I've been to Revelry Kitchen + Bar dozens of times and they never disappoint. They have the BEST chicken wings in Austin, hands down. The burgers? Cooked to perfection. And the fries are seasoned with heaven. The staff is incredible, from the bartenders to servers and busboys, they all take care of you (thanks for the extra ketchup, every time!). This place is a gem, I live in the neighborhood and they wear 78702 t-shirts and I've even gotten a discount for having the same zip code on my ID. Great deck and cool interior. Been going here since it opened a few years ago. From day 1 this place has been my jam. The staff could not be more badass and friendly. Drinks always on point and the food is the things hungover dreams are made of. Brussel sprouts and chicken lollipop wings will never disappoint! It can get packed on game days, but the huge patio makes it pretty easy to grab a table. My husband and I came here for the first time for brunch and it was very delicious. We ordered the wings and waffle and the ribeye hash skillet. The wings and waffles were my favorite. Mildly spicy but very flavorful. You don't need any extra syrup because the sauces is perfect over the wings and waffles. Sweet and spicy. It advertises on the menu that they will give you 5 wings, but they actually gave us 6 wings. Presentation of the food is great too. They need a little extra help at he front bar and I had to wait a little while to order but definitely worth it. They are dog friendly. We brought our dog with us and they had dog bowls and a cold water jug out front. Plus they have nice outdoor area with fans spraying mist of water to keep you cool. The atmosphere alone was awesome. So we were in town for a Bachelorette party and stopped here for brunch before heading back to Houston. I like the setup of the restaurant. The DJ was playing some great tunes. Looking at the menu, I was happy to see the prices and the food offered. I was blown away when the manager made things right but offering my friend a carafe of mimosas for their mistake for charging her the wrong price. I was very happy with that type of customer service.
