I got a tattoo yesterday with Nikky. She was super kind and explained the proper after-care very well. I got a fine-line NEDA tattoo made up of poppies and roses to represent my recovery from anorexia and bulimia. The tattoo is absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. Anyone thinking of getting a tattoo here should visit the actual shop to set up an appointment. My mom tried to get up an appointment on the website first. After submitting the tattoo request, the website tells you that an artist will contact you to set up an appointment. A week or so passed and nobody from the shop called, so we went to the tattoo parlor and set up an appointment that way. The shop is cash only. An ATM is there for convince if you forget that it's cash only or just want to get the money in cash at the actual shop. The tools and tattoo parlor were both very hygienic. I will definitely be coming back later in life for more tattoos :) read more

This place and Manny are amazing! I searched the internet for 3 weeks trying to find one of the best tattoo artists in Reno or Las Vegas for my 16 year old son. We live in California so we had to travel to Nevada. After looking through what I found in Reno, I was not impressed and found no one I would trust or that had been known on many tattoo websites. I then switched to looking at Las Vegas artists. I searched google for best tattoo artists in Vegas not looking at Yelp, more focused on Tattoo websites only that specialize in tattoo artists. I found a few in Vegas and did more research on each person I found through their social media and communicating through email and phone calls. At the end, I found Manny to be the best of them all and the best for my son and his first tattoo. It was going to be a big one for a 16 year old and I wanted it to be a good experience so he can always go back and add on and get more work done by a super clean and caring shop. Manny communicated with us by text and phone calls. He is very detailed on what he does. My son had drawn up his idea as he is a pretty good artist himself and Manny made some changes to it and explained why it would be best. He talked with my son and got all his ideas and took the time to talk with him and did not judge anything of his age, which is a plus! Manny does very clean work and takes a lot of time to make sure things are correct and look good. I have tattoo's by others (over 20 years ago) and most people were rough and just blew through doing them. Manny took his time and I can say, I think he has a soft hand because he does not rush through anything. My son was on the table for over 4 straight hours because my son did not want or need any breaks and Manny would always ensure my son was doing OK. Manny's work is very detailed and his shading was on point with my son's work. Pictures should be attached. The vibe of the shop is on point. All the artists there ( 5 total when we were there ) were all very nice and busy with clients. None of the artists here were stuck up and all were willing to chat about my son in between them being busy. Great attitudes and nice portfolio books to look through. Overall, my wife, my son and myself were super impressed with Manny and the work he performs and the interest he takes from the ideas we have and makes them amazing with his ideas and touch. We will return for more work for all of us because I have never found anyone as caring and great as Manny. read more

I messaged manny on instagram to get a quote on a tattoo, back in August, when I told him my idea he was very excited. I scheduled my appointments and yesterday was our first session. He was on time and ready to go even though I got there a little early. What he did with my idea is absolutely impeccable, he literally brought it to life. I found Revolution Tattoo from searching for an artist on Instagram. I had a 14 yr old Tattoo that wasnt finished and I wanted it fixed and not covered up. I had 2 other artist at different shops only want to start over and cover it up. I didnt want a cover up and had a consultation with Manny and he agreed to fix it for me. Tell me if you think this is acceptable: I made an appt for my husband 4.5 weeks beforehand with a specific artist. He's done work on me before and it was great. I told him what we needed done when I made the appt and I have in writing. When we show up day of, he tells me he can't do what we want bc he has a 5pm appt that day (we came in at 1pm), and that we should reschedule. Again we made the appt over 4 weeks earlier! He ends up calling my husband rude bc my husband didn't want to buy his BS that a 2-3hr job max was going to take at least two sessions. What that meant to me was he wanted to charge us for a 2 session job. When we asked if he could recommend anyone who would be able to do it that day, he just said no. Guess what, tattoo artists aren't hard to find in Vegas. This was a simple solid blocked in line, no shading or anything. My husband did find someone else the same day and it took exactly 2.5hrs and came out great. Now let me tell you about last year, when I again made an appt a few weeks earlier. When the day came, he messed up the dates and wouldn't take him. You'd think if you messed up someone's appt before you wouldn't make them reschedule yet again but no not him. He didn't hesitate to tell us to come back another time. If he didn't want our business to begin with why did he take the appt? I wasn't even going to bother to take this any further but now the here's the clincher, he blocked me on social media. If he's going to be petty, so am I. If you wanna know who it is just message me. so last saturday i went in to get matching tattoos with my two best friends! ( my second time at the parlor) My artist was Brian. First he tried to upsell us and kept insisting we add more to our tattoo. But we stood strong and kept telling him no. My one friend had Nikki, who was great and did an amazing job on my friends tatoo and my other friend and i had Brian! He was very chatty with her, but didnt stop workong on her tattoo. He took his sweet time in the back to goof off- and then when he started working on my tattoo- he kept stopping to talk to my friend- and then at one point he stopped to goof off with another artist. I haven't been to Revolution in a couple years. I got my full sleeve done at Revolution. It continues to be photographed and still has the same brilliance in color as it has had in the beginning. I have not needed a touch up. I get many compliments on it. Manny is an artist and brought the tattoo to life respecting my honor to First Nations Artist Alex Janvier in the piece but also adding his artistic touch to it.
