Nice Mexican restaurant with great service, I think is a small family own restaurant. As soon you get in, they give you fresh and warm fried tortilla chips. The salsa was good flavor and not too spicy. The ambiance will be good for friend and family lunch& dinner and even happy hour since all the adult beverages look good and reasonable price. Food 4/5 Avocado Chicken Salad- The salad is huge and the chicken was perfectly seared and season however the chicken was so thin. it can use some more chicken compared to ratio of the salad. I probably go back to more authentic Mexican food went I am off my diet. lol read more

The food here has gone downhill over the last few years. Yesterday I got the Burritos Mexicanas and what arrived was shredded beef in cold tortilla shells with cheese dip poured over it. The beef was cooked but overall the burritos were not. My 5 year old have made it. My friend got a burrito and hers was rolled up like a burrito and it all was cooked and she had other things in it like onions etc. Its just odd to me that it wasn't cooked as a whole burrito and it was basically just meat with a tortilla shell folded over. They should have just called it a taco. The chips were also way overcooked. There is way better Mexican food in the area than this. read more

I made a revisit for lunch and ordered 3 items: Queso dip, Pork carnitas enchiladas and Lunch special #10. The queso dip was semi thick and delicious. The pork carnitas enchiladas platter was on point and delicious. The lunch special #10 has chicken quesadilla and beef tostada. Surprisingly the quesadilla was tender and delicious. The tostada was way too thin, you wouldn't be able to hand lift it because with all of the ingredients stack on top, it just broke. So instead I crushed it all up, mixed all the sides together (refried beans and fluffy rice) and ate everything like taco salad. With all the flavors incorporated, it was still delicious. My server Daniel was friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable. The restaurant is clean, played comfortable music and offers outside seating. Come check them out. read more

Definitely has stepped up and improved their game again! The last few times we've went, has been greatly improved. My husband and I went on Friday night, and although busy and bustling, they were on top of everything. We ordered ice water, table side guacamole, and steak and chicken fajitas for one. The guacamole was perfect; chunky and delicious, the fajitas were sizzling and flavorful, the toppings were fresh. Service was excellent, and the prices competitive. For all over Mexican flair, this has remained one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the community. read more

Had lunch with my sisters. Service was slow even though it was not busy. The chips and salsa were good as well as the refried beans. The enchiladas not so much. We all ordered different enchiladas. All of them had some variation of a dried up sauce. The chicken inside was also dry. Mine was supposed to be a creamy cheese sauce but it was some type of dessicated green sauce. And we paid a pretty penny for these tasteless meals. We would not return. read more

pretty standard texmex. nothing really deviating from the norm. everything could use a notch or two more of seasoning... but that's just me. will I go back? maybe... it was good enough of a meal while I was there. Ordered the tilapia tacos with a mix of cabbage and carrots - it was the saddest excuse for a taco I've ever seen. Also, ordered a cheese quesadilla and the cheese was cold in the center it was not melted at all. Thankfully the server removed the quesadilla from the check since it wasn't eaten. It was just OK. My son and I ordered the steak burritos and they were soggy, with very little cheese sauce. The vegetables were two crunchy in the burrito. The chips were also overcooked, the salsa was OK. I will definitely stick to my usual place from now on. read more

Second visit to this establishment and ordered a Ensalada de La casa (house salad). I was very disappointed with the quality of food. The onions on the salad were not cut properly or fitting for the salad as they were cut into large chunks (not as pictured), and had a strong smell. I'm thinking the onions were old because they were dry. The tomatoes were pale and dry, no flavor. Lastly, they messed up my order and forgot to include the side of tortillas I requested at the time of the order...I was charged $1.95 for the tortillas in which the hostess forgot to include in the order. People... if you mess up the order, the least you could've done was handed me the tortillas for goodness sake, after all it was your mistake and I had to run back to your restaurant. I will now be cautious and not sure if I would return. I provided this establishment with a great rating some time ago however I can't ignore this experience. read more

This place is absolutely delicious! This is our go to Mexican restaurant now. Everything we've had there is tasty and makes you want to come back for more. I haven't ordered any drinks from there yet but they look top-notch. There's a place around around the corner from me that keeps winning awards and I don't know why because I find their food so bland. well Ray Azteca is not bland! Spread the word. You've got to try them out you're not gonna want to go anywhere else afterwards. read more

After a second visit to Rey Azteca, I had to drop a star from my rating as I found the experience to be inconsistent with our first (fabulous!) one just a few weeks earlier. Well let me start off that this establishment use to be good. Walked in and immediately a waiter came over and rushed us for our drink order. But after that no service for at least 15 minutes. Came here today with my mother-in-law from out out town and was embarrassed because I told her how good it was. Well very disappointed in the service and taste of the food. Both dishes we had didn't have any flavor very blah. Steak fajitas were over cooked. Took awhile for someone to take our order. I will not be back at this establishment again. Sad to see such a place go down hill. read more

Exceptional service by the staff. Super attentive and welcoming. The food comes out very hot (not just plate like many restaurants). We ordered the kids taco salad, kids enjoyed. Ordered table side guacamole and it's very good. Ordered the carne asada..good although there were several chunks of fat. My daughter ordered the carnitas tacos and she always enjoys them. Very clean. Service was outstanding. Food is reasonably priced and very tasty. Arrival to food served was about 15 min and it was obviously freshly cooked. Shrimp tacos, beef taco, beef enchilada, and beef empanada were all excellent, as were the rice and refried beans. My wife liked her peach margarita and the small was very adequately sized. Although a refund was issued after I raised the issue, it was still inaccurate only $30 was returned instead of the full $34.39, excluding tax. Additionally, no apology or clear explanation was provided. This experience reflects poorly on the establishment's billing accuracy and transparency. Customers should carefully review their charges, as pricing appears inconsistent for identical items. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this establishment.

The quesadilla had a nice golden crisp on the tortilla with plenty of melted cheese, and the burritos were loaded and topped with grilled onions, sour cream, and guacamole. The sides were simple but fresh--lettuce, tomato, and a scoop of guac--with a solid bowl of salsa on the table. Service was excellent. The wait staff stayed friendly, attentive, and always had a smile, which goes a long way. Portions were generous and the pricing felt fair for what you get. All in all, it's the kind of place that may not try to be fancy, but it consistently delivers good flavor, good service, and a satisfying meal without hurting the wallet. Definitely still worth a stop.

Customer Service Needs a lot of improvements. Arrived behind 2 other couples. Receptionist on the…read morephone can tell she was not taking orders, did not acknowledge we were waiting. Two more people came in behind us along with a door dash pick up. She got off the phone took the door dasher.Another server came from the back and took the two people who came in after us. She did not say anything about us being ahead of them. Then a family came in and without hesitation she took them. I told her others had been waiting and she ignored us and took the family back. We have been here before and every time service needed improvement. The only reason why we tried here again is because you are close to home. But this was horrible and we will not return. We would rather drive a few miles than come back to your establishment. Shame on you!
