I was hungry for some ribs so I stopped by Rib Crib today. I love their righteous ribs. They are delicious. The meat literally falls off the bone! The perfect mix of spices and cooking techniques make these ribs some of the best in the Tulsa area. I also had mashed potatoes and gravy and the baked beans. My bf and I stopped by this Rib Crib because it's conveniently located right off i44 and we were starving on our way to MO from Oklahoma City. My guy ordered the Flying Pig with coleslaw and potato salad. The meats were absolutely delicious and the turkey was probably the best I've ever had. However the coleslaw and potato salad were not in the same playing field. The coleslaw had little to no sauce so it's like eating coleslaw with pepper. The potato salad may have come from Walmart. I'm not sure. I ordered a chopped brisket sandwich with a bun and a side salad and homemade chips. The brisket was tender and tasty, but WAY TOO GREASY. It was kinda gross . The side salad came with ranch and fried strips of tortillas. It was delicious. The fried potato chips were cooked perfectly, but had no flavor. I actually had to add salt. This place is a great find close to an office where we were meeting at. I had low expectations and thought this would just be some low end fast food convenience, type of restaurant, but they happen to have fantastic ribs and awesome wings. Food was subpar. Green beans tasted like they have been sitting out for hours, pulled pork, hot link and shredded beef were dry. The only thing saving this meal was the turkey. Beans were okay. It seems like if you're not a regular they treat you like you're a bum off the streets. Older white lady looked at me weird and it was off putting. Dad and I were on a road-trip to visit family in Missouri and drove through Tulsa Oklahoma from OKC. We were looking for a good BBQ spot and saw RibCrib from the 44 freeway. "We came to this RibCrib as it was rated 4 stars, the highest in the area. 4 stars... I don't think so. The only good thing about this experience was the opportunity to sit in a nicely air conditioned building and friendly servers. First thing when we got there we asked if the ribs were fresh and not left overs from yesterday, the manager assured us the ribs were hot and fresh from today. He even brought us out a "sample rib" that was steamy hot, fall of the bone deliciously fresh. He even came back to ask us if "They were worthy of ordering" to which we said absolutely. This is where the good ends. We started with fried pickles, they were over done and a little burned, but they were super hot and fresh. I ordered the lunch special which was 2 meats and a side. I got Ribs, sausage and mac n cheese. The ribs were great value brand of the sample rib, not steamy hot fresh, but slightly warmer than room temp but they were fall off the bone. The sausage was room temp and way way way too salty, and I love and embrace salt... they mac n cheese had a good cheese flavor but the noodles were thick and weirdly textured, like it was made with crafting macaronis or cheapo noodles. Not impressed, but so far it was better then the Broken Arrow RibCrib. My husbands food on the other hand... well lets say dollar store version of the sample rib. His were yesterdays ribs warmed up, his ribs were room temp and cold the touch, as were his hot links. We brought up the hot link temp to the waitress, had her feel one and she took them back to the kitchen. Where we guessed they just popped them in the microwave, as the same plate of links, including the one the waitress touched, was brought back out to us. The fries were bland and flavorless, didn't even taste like potatoes. My husband didn't even eat his food, we brought it home and gave it to the dogs. My main questions is... why can't the food be fresh? why are there no standards, why bring out a 5 star rib and then once ordered you bring us 0 star ribs... My husband and I stopped here while driving home from California. We love to seek out BBQ restaurants and the RibCrib was one of the best we have tried. The ribs were fabulous, not over seasoned with a nice smoke ring. Tender and moist. I appreciated that they have the option to order 3 rib portions for lighter eaters. The BBQ sauce was served on the side. Nice and smoky sweet. The baked beans were very good as was the Mac and cheese. My husband got a side salad which was huge so we shared it. This was the worst experience I have had with a restaurant in a long time. My wife and I had an extremely difficult week of traveling from work and we just wanted to sit down to some fresh, hot, fall off the bone ribs. We did not. When we arrived, there was no one to seat us, until someone came and asked us how they could help after wandering aimlessly. When we received our appetizer, the fried pickles were cooked dark and some were burnt. However, they were temperature hot and you could tell they had just come out of the fryer. My plate was so not good. The fries were super bland and not salted. COLD. My rack of ribs were warm and the first bite tasted like it was cooked yesterday, put in a fridge and then warmed in an oven. Not to mention, they were not FULL ribs, it seemed as though someone had bitten off pieces of them. My hot links were cold. I even had the waitress touch my hot links to feel the temperature. She admitted that they were cold and took my plate. I marked a few of the links to see if they were going to bring back the same plate.... And behold, they did. They "heated" up the hot links and brought them back to me. That made me feel super super uncomfortable knowing they did that... Immediately, my wife and I called for the check and we had to actually look for someone to check us out. The staff was back by the grill talking. As I looked back there, there were no fryers going OR preparation of food for the customers that had come in after us that were waiting on their food. I looked at the check and there should be NO REASON for me to have to pay for something, even at full price that was taken away from my table and returned!!! A PAID $50.00 ticket later, we realized that we could have spent half on lunch and half on dinner, somewhere else. This was a crazy experience and I cannot believe that our time and hard-worked money was wasted on that!!! read more

In town for business and this RibCrib location was nearby. The reviews were very good so I drove over. Much to my delight Tuesday is All You Can Eat Ribs night. Yeeeeaaahh!! I walked in and took a seat at the bar. Chance treated me right away. He, along with Tatum (a server who was NOT working but very chatty) and a regular named AJ struck up very friendly conversation and helped me order. I took everything they recommended (AYCE St Louis ribs, mac and cheese, beans) and was not disappointed. The ribs were delicious and the sides were great. Chance had a new order of ribs in front of me before I could ask. I had a great time talking with all of them. Got this to go, and snacked on the yucky fries (and I'm still giving 5 star!) and onion rings while driving. OR we're not homemade but they were fresh and hot and yummy. We weren't able to eat our dinners (I snuck in my beans and they were delicious)until about 2 hours later and we didn't reheat anything. The mashed potatoes without that yucky white gravy (yeah, insert joke here ) were delicious and the mac n cheese was pretty good too. The ribs were very good. We got half slab of the original (no sauce) and half with sauce. Both were excellent. We got a brisket and pulled pork sandwich and the pulled pork was PHENOMENAL! We should have just gotten that. No sauce, no nothing was needed. It was by far the best pulled pork we have had. Will come back here again just for that. The brisket ok, nothing special. I really like brisket and this was just ok. I order on line today and got home and our order was all wrong. we order Mac n Cheese and potato salad with ribs and BIRD. Instead of getting what we order we got the meat but 1 small rib ,corn on cob and French fryers. I don't know what happen. the second one we order the 2 meat and 2 sides, all we got was 4 slices of Brisket 2 ribs and bake beans. We always get our order right when we call in but I checked the order and it was wrong on what we got didn't match up with what was sent out. we spent $ 28. 79 and didn't get the food we ordered. Horrible service. Three waitresses walked by as I held my baby in a car seat, waiting to be seated. Since there was no wait to be seated sign I found an open table. Then was told we should have waited because they seat the customer. After that they left us there while they took orders from people who were seated after us. In a word: Repulsive. I spent many years in the restaurant business so I am usually sympathetic on dining reviews but this place was just disgusting. It was so bad that I had to contact the business to provide feedback and filed a complaint with the health department. The booths and decor were covered in dust and grime. The server was in desperate need of a shave and a clean shirt, it looked like he just got off a previous job at Jiffy Lube. He took our order with slimy hands and disheveled note pad. The food arrived and the plates had grease and fingerprints all over the rim. The food was well below average. The onion rings were the only thing worth eating. Out of all the Rib Cribs I've been to this one seems to be the best. I always get seated as soon as I walk through the door which makes it number one on my list. The food is always good and if I had to complain about any item it would be the fries. Lots of sides to choose from so I get something else.
