Went at lunch time on a Wednesday & was surprised by how empty the place was! It's a warm day & there was no AC, so maybe most people ordered for pickup instead of dine in. At least I hope that's the case because the food & service are great! Small parking lot in the back with nearby residential street parking available too. FYI, everything comes in take out containers regardless if you eat on site or not. I ordered the loaded rib bowl, because I loved the concept: choose any two sides for the "base" & then they top that with pork or beef rib meat + sauce to your desired level of spiciness. My only complaint is the ratio of sides to meat. My bowl was almost all mashed potatoes, with just a little coleslaw + pickles & maybe 2 pork ribs' worth of meat. Don't get me wrong, I love mashed potatoes, but for $16 I would have liked a better/more equitable ratio. Next time I might choose different sides more wisely and/or ask specifically for "half and half" to avoid disappointment. read more

We ordered the sauces on the side (personal preference) and we were really pleased with how well the meat was bbqed as well as their sides. We tried all of them except the slaw, but the sandwich had some of it in it. Service was great, and the location was well lit and clean. The restaurant is not very big, so I'm not sure how busy it is during prime meal times. However, we did see a lot of people order take out while we were having a late dinner. The staff seemed to have issues with each other--there was complete silence between them while I waited for my order. The fries were stale and tasted store-bought. The BBQ sauce was clearly not homemade, and the BBQ sandwich was inconsistently heated, with parts cold and others hot.
