First off, I'm a total chicken when it comes to the dentist or anything to do with my teeth, however my friend was telling me not to worry. (which made me worry more) She told me Dr. Suarez and the rest of the team are super nice. She was soo right on point. I have never met such nice and wonderful people. From the time you walk in, they made you feel so welcome and has help me through this fear of the dentist. My teeth have never felt soo clean and healthy. Dr. Suarez actually takes his time and go through every little details to make sure you understand. He doesn't seem to rush through like other dentist. Also, he doesn't make me feel bad but instead encourage me and reassure me that I can have the smile I want. I love going to the Dentist!!! And how many people can say that ? To the moment I walk in the door to sign in for my appointment I am always greeted. I never ever have to wait more then 5mins in the waiting area to be seen. Once I'm in the dentist chair either to have my teeth clean or work done I'm always taken care off. I love this place. Even my daughter loves coming to get her teeth cleaned it worked on. This is the only place that I trust with by letting my daughter get seen by herself while I wait. That's how much I trust them. They are always nice and willing to talk to you about any questions or work that needs to be done. And also work with you on paying your co/pays. Not completely done with my cosmetic dentistry yet, but I went in today to approve of what had been done so far. They gave me HONEST feedback. They opened the blinds, let me walk around and even go outside in the natural light to take photos to see if I was completely satisfied. There were tiny imperfections that didn't sit well with Dr. Suarez and the incomparable Elaine, so they formulated a plan with my input to make sure I'm 100% happy. I feel like most dentists would have tried to convince me that I loved what I saw. Speaking of Elaine, I have disabilities that would have other healthcare professionals leary of working on me and falling all over themselves trying to work around my shortcomings. But Elaine!!! She knew what my issues were going to be due to my disabilities and she never skipped a beat. She knew when I needed her help to where I never had to stop and ask for it. She was just on top of it all!! I even switched girls to have Elaine stay and work on me and no one turned up a nose or acted indifferent to my request. Ebby at the front desk is so patient and kind and gets you the appointment that YOU need and helps you with all the insurance payments etc. If you don't require much fuss, you'll be in and out quickly with an easy rapport, feeling like you'd just spent time with old friends. I've only been to this office a handful of times, but if you need a clean, professional, talented, knowledgeable, kind and PATIENT office for your dental needs- I highly recommend Dr. Suarez and his amazing group of women. read more

On a Sunday morning I woke up with horrible tooth pain. I called Dr Suarez's office and left a message hoping someone would call me first thing Monday. To my surprise Carolina returned my call a few hours later, on a Sunday!!! She sent in a prescription for antibiotics and also made arrangements for staff to come on early on Monday. Dr Suarez saw me Monday first thing and made recommendations for my needed root canal. The antibiotics really helped. Dr Suarez's staff has always been on point. Today was my first time coming to doctor Ricardo Suarez office in West Covina and I don't regret it. I've been scared of dentist for years. The staff at doctors Suarez was super super nice. Vanessa received me at the door and she was so nice. Annie did my cleaning and she was so nice and sweet she made me feel very comfortable. Doctor Suarez and his assistant Kayla I believe that was her name were super patient with me. They went the extra mile just to explain every treatment I need. Doctor Suarez seem very honest with me. Beware of this dentist office. They charged me for X-rays that my insurance covers at any other dental office I have ever gone to. Went for x rays and a cleaning and was charged $68 dollars. After speaking with them the charge was supposed to be dropped. Later when I ran my credit for a purchase I found out that Dr Suarez's office had sent me to collections for $68 dollars. After I was told that charge would be taken off. So they affectively lowered my credit score. I would just say don't do business with people like this. First red flag is the charge for a cleaning. I figure they are over charging for every service and Charging your insurance and the customer. Response: First, I appreciate your response, however, speaking in terms of ethics, regardless of the bylaws of PPO insurances, I strongly believe that it should have been your office's ethical obligation to notify my wife and I about these fees prior to performing any type of services or work. Also, thank you, but I DO know that DemandForce is an internal system where reviews are ONLY requested from those patrons that a company WANTS to actually hear from. Before seeing Dr. Suarez, I had avoided dentists for many years (slightly phobic of needles, pain, etc.). Dr. Suarez really cured me of this and I am proud to say my family and I have been patients of his for more than 12 years. I completely trust Dr. Suarez and his staff not only with my own dental care but with my children's dental care. So much so, we drive all the way from Sacramento twice a year just for our dental appointments!! Dr. Suarez and his staff are welcoming, caring, thorough and professional throughout each visit. Dr. Suarez embodies exactly what every person wants in a dentist. His patients matter to him. His dedication to dentistry is evident in every aspect of his care. Dr. Suarez stays on the cutting edge of technology and always has the best there is to offer in the field. His dental exam is extremely thorough, checking the lymph nodes around your neck, taking your blood pressure, and examining your jaw. Dr. Suarez does not up-sell on unneeded procedures, he is upfront and clear, and his dentistry work is done with a meticulous eye, close to perfection. His staff is amazing! From the front office to the hygienists, we are always well taken care of, almost pampered from start to finish. Dr. Suarez and his team have great chair-side manners, some dentists talk your ear off and others are antiseptic in their approach; they have found the perfect balance and get it just right. The office is clean, organized, and runs like a well-oiled machine. Recently, my son had all four of his wisdom teeth extracted. It was his first surgery of any kind and I was very nervous. Dr. Suarez was patient; he explained the entire procedure and made sure all of my questions were answered. I knew my son was in good hands. In the weeks before the surgery, I had a lot of questions and called his office several times. Each time I called, his staff handled my questions with impeccable manners and provided thorough answers. The tooth extractions went perfectly and his staff made sure I understood all of the after-care procedures. I had expected my son to experience a significant amount of pain and swelling, but he actually didn't have much at all. That evening, Dr. Suarez called to ask how my son was doing, he answered my questions, and let me know that he'd be available if I had any additional questions or if anything changed in my son's recovery process. Being that we traveled from Sacramento to Southern California for this surgery, Dr. Suarez made every effort to respect our time and scheduled my son's re-check appointment 4 days after surgery (normal re-check is approx. 1 week after surgery) and also made time for me in his schedule to take impressions for a night guard (did I mention Dr. Suarez is also focused on preventing problems and not just fixing them afterwards). He and his staff have proven they go the extra mile when it comes to their patients. I would (and do) recommend Dr. Suarez as the BEST dentist in the world! I had my appointment on March 10, as a new patient. I found this facility on yelp and thought the reviews were good so I wanted to try them out. I am very pleased with the service. All the ladies were very sweet and very professional. They explained everything they were doing step by step and I felt so comfortable. Everything was state of the art and if you want quality care, you will pay for it. Dr. Suarez was also very nice and professional. He let me know what his concerns were and what my personal care plan was going to be. They did x-rays, pictures ( pretty high-tech camera for mouth) a cleaning and sent me home with a goodie bag. I will definitely recommend this office to other people because of the fantastic service and professionalism. Don't be afraid of cost when it comes to out of pocket expenses (insurance won't cover everything). They have payment plans available and care credit as well. This is my favorite dental office ever. Everyone from the front desk to the dental hygienist and Dr. Suarez himself were very friendly and made my experience great. You can tell that they put a lot of effort into trying to make the experience as calming and relaxed as possible for their patients. They gave me a tour of the offices, the consultation rooms, and even the back where they mold crowns and have a lot of equipment. They have tea in the waiting room, they let you watch tv and pick a show while you're getting the cleaning done, they even put a cover over the lights that made it look like a blue sky (I know it sounds weird but it was a very thoughtful and unique idea). If I had any questions they answered them very clearly and gave me specific recommendations rather than general ideas of what to do. They were very helpful. I highly recommend this place. Dr. Suarez is AMAZING!!!! Yesterday (Sunday) my 13 year old son had an emergency, he got hit by a baseball on his mouth. The hit was so hard that it pushed back a tooth and he had a few lacerations which required stitches. Dr. Suarez without hesitation took my call and saw him. He was very gentle with my son explaining to him every step he was taking to fix his teeth and get him all better. He even took time away from his family to help my son. I'm laying here with gauze in my mouth on my couch; doctors orders not to move around or talk much so I figure this was the perfect time to write a long overdue review. My whole family has been coming here for years. It's a very clean and beautiful facility. The front staff is always so kind and explains billing in easy to understand terms. And they try to work with you on the cost. (It's not cheap but trust me when I say you get what you pay for when it comes to dentistry!) I've never had a long wait and I've always been treated like I am important to them. I'll spare you the gory details of my recent experience: but I had a terrible infection in an old root canal (not done here) that needed to be fixed. I was in excruciating pain. I was seen within a day and Dr. Suarez diligently cleaned and reduced the infection with a sincere attention to detail. I was then referred to an endodontist and it turned out to be untreatable. So I returned to Dr. Suarez to have it extracted, and prepped for bone graft and a future implant. It was not easy and it was not painless but I could tell it was done well and done right. I still have a long journey ahead of me but I feel good about these first steps. One last thing: his assistant Jaid is like an Angel on Earth, really. I feel so much calmer when I know she is by my side. She is so considerate and is always genuinely interested in providing comfort and peace of mind. I am beyond grateful for her being there and for her generous kindness. I highly recommend this Dentist office and make sure you tell your kids to brush AND FLOSS when they are young! read more
