So sad to make this. I've been here plenty of times and all have been positive experience but this last time was the worst. I ordered shrimp pho online, went to go pick it up and recieved what look like half of my noodles missing. The food was really good though ~ but not what I expected for the price. :(

So happy to see more Vietnamese restaurants popping up on Midlothian. I've been to Rice Field twice since they opened. Both experiences were phenomenal. First, the ambiance is so good! I love the aesthetic, it is super cute in here. The service was also so fast. They are really polite and attentive. The pho is so GOOD. Delicious broth. Good quality meats. The portions are so generous and definitely worth the price. I also got their pork broken rice dish which I thought was incredible as well. The portions for that was so generous as well. Their shrimp rice paper roll and everything was incredibly flavorful. I'd definitely say this is one of the better Viet spots for Pho in midlothian. It is a bit more expensive than competitors in the area. However phenomenal experience.

I'm excited to see another Vietnamese restaurant open in Midlothian! Our group ordered a bunch of foods, but I was so hungry, I only took photos of mine! We had: - fresh pork and shrimp spring rolls - this was very good and fresh, it tasted like it was made to order and provided you with a good portion of shrimp and pork. They used bbq pork in this instead of the usual plain/boiled pork other restaurants use. Not a bad thing, just thought I'd mention it since it was unexpected! - bun thit nuong cha gio (vermicelli noodles with bbq pork and fried egg rolls) - this was beautifully presented and it was a big portion. The eggrolls and pork had very good flavor. The pork was a bit too dry, especially compared the the pork that was used in the spring rolls. - com tam bu suon cha (broken rice with grilled pork chop, shredded pork skin and pork cake) - my partner has this and he really liked it! It also included a couple pieces of fried shrimp paste wrapped in bean curd which was pretty tasty as well! - bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup) and pho - I took a sip of both broths and they were both flavorful. The portions were big that half of them didn't finish their meal, they give you a lot of noodles! I can't wait to go back to try them. All in all, give this restaurant a try - the service is great, decor was beautiful and I took a peek at their drink menu and it looks delicious!

Literally one of the best viet food in Chesterfield. It is extremely spacious and it's decorated so well. The staff is so nice and kind. The food is incredible, each dish had so much flavorful and is authentic to Vietnamese cuisine. I went when they first soft launched and then kept coming back for more!

This place is a hidden gem!!! The food was SO SO tasty. Genuinely one of the best vermicelli bowls i've ever had. The thai tea was great too. Has a gorgeous inside with spacious seating, but the only downside is the service was a bit slow and menu is kinda confusing with repeats. I hope to be back

Really enjoyed the meal! The pork had great flavor. The egg rolls weren't my favorite. Very sweet wait staff.

    Chicken pho

This place is amazing!! I get the chicken pho and it is to die for! The broth is super flavorful and the chicken is like sliced breast and not shredded! I also tried the rocket shrimp and it was amazing! Crispy and not too much filling in the inside. The service is great! Very fast and not too hovering! The restaurant is very clean and up to date! I would definitely be coming back often!

    Pho Bo Vien (Meatball pho)

Warm welcome. Server answered questions we had patiently and friendly. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. We ordered several dishes, Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup), Pho Bo Vien (meatball pho) Pho Ap Chao(Seafood Panfried Noodles). All were large dishes and we left with left overs. The flavors were rich and tasty. Will return again over and over.

The space is huge for a walking-mall restaurant, with several dozen tables and booths. Music is nice background not overly loud. Service was absolutely excellent and food came out within minutes. Empty dishes picked up within seconds. We ordered an appetizer of crab rangoon. It came to us hot and tasty but to be honest it had little to no fake crab in it. That was a little disappointing. For our mains I had chicken stir fried noodles and pork soup dumplings. When it was put in front of me I thought the noodles looked like a smallish portion but this turned out not to be the case -- the dish was more than adequate and very nicely composed. I enjoyed every bit of it but barely finished it. The soup dumplings were umami-on-a-spoon. Served in a steam basket, these were very warm and the broth inside was just perfect. I thought it was a tad salty, my wife disagreed. And since it was her main course and not mine, I will bow to her opinion. This was a nice casual meal, especially for the price. If you go, do not pass up the opportunity to walk up to the bao station and watch the food being made. Our server encouraged us to do this, and it was really interesting, and the staff doesn't seem to mind the attention!

It is seriously one of the best I have tried. It is crunchy, flavorful, and so delicious, especially with their spicy crunchy oil on top. I could honestly come back just for that. The orange chicken from Ugly Dumpling is absolutely amazing!!!!! I was recommended the orange chicken by my server who was very kind and attentive!! Also, I got the noodles with spicy sauce which weren't super spicy but still tasty and I tried the veggie bao buns for the first time and really enjoyed them! Overall great food, and I will definitely keep coming back.

I had only planned on spending $60 or so but ended up spending $140 including a great tip for my waiter. I got the Fried Chicken Banh Mi, Dan Dan Noodles, and my guest ordered the Brisket Pho, and Singapore noodles alongside a Mojito and their coconut ice cube drink (blanking on the name). I loved every bite of my food. The Daikon Radish was the highlight of the Banh Mi and I was in love with every bite. Visibly dancing and gleaming with joy while eating + the great music being played also helped. I didn't eat my sandwich until it got cold as I like to finish a dish before trying another. I started with the Dan Dan noodles and had to drink 3 of the liters of water by myself to finish my meal . I took my guest's peppers and my peppers and crushed them up into my Dan Dan plate with all the seeds that came with them. In addition I also used all the chili oil paste it came with as well. It was so damn great I enjoyed every second. My guest loved their pho and didn't stop eating it and ate half of their Singapore noodles before getting full and having to take it home. They absolutely loved their drinks and it was so fun to watch the bartender make the drinks. Two shakers in hand mixing the drinks and oh boy were they strong . We will definitely be back!!! Oh and they also had chopsticks for us to use and we ate our entire meal with them. I knew I was in for a whirlwind of flavor when the ethnicities of the cooks matched the restaurant and patrons of color from Pakistani, Black, Indian, Korean, Thai, and more were dining in . Only downsides for me personally were the Singapore noodles but it wasn't my dish. I tasted them and didn't think they were for me I usually prefer a different ratio of seasoning for my Singapore noodles. My guest whose favorite dish is Singapore noodles quite adored them. Though they did say the Singapore noodles I make at home are better they still crushed it and the next morning woke up and crushed the rest with a smile on the face . Only thing I didn't like was the pho but that's my personal taste getting in the way. I don't like fish based broths but my guest ate every single last dropped and loved it! So if that's your alley go for it!!! 10/10 will try again!!! P.S. please tip the staff graciously they work so hard. If you're going to order a $100 worth of food don't be the person not tipping or tipping $10 when the service was excellent. Yes tipping cultures shouldn't exist but until they're paid a fair wage please continue to do so. I really hope this restaurant doesn't sell out like other restaurants (En Su Boca )

The entryway is interesting and provides some shelter from the rain, allowing you to manage your umbrella before entering. I felt slightly anxious at first, being that we were in a cozy two-top amongst the fray, but it subsided quickly because everyone was respectful and reasonably quiet. We ordered the veggie spring rolls to start, and I had the Chinatown Ramen, and my partner had the Chicken Fried Noodles. The appetizer was hot, savory, and spicy with the duck sauce and hot mustard mixture. If you like milder sauce, do not mix it. The entrees came out within five or so minutes of the appetizers, which seemed quick for a busy night. The ramen was spicy, hot, and filling. I was only able to finish about half. We will be enjoying those leftovers tonight. My partner said that her noodles and chicken were well-seasoned and delicious, too. Looking around the restaurant, it is clear that they support the local LGBTQ+ community, and it is even labeled as a Safe Space on the beautifully manicured, makeshift chalkboard/menu/posting board. The clientele and staff alike seemed warm and kind, based solely on limited interactions and observation on my part. If you are looking for a traditional American-Chinese food restaurant (think buffet-style items), this is likely not the place for you. There were no mishaps or snafus with our orders. Liza performed her duties well, and I can surely recommend this restaurant to anyone who doesn't mind a mix of Japanese and Chinese cuisine.
