We will start off with the food. The food here is absolutely amazing. I ordered the corned beef hash with the home fries and everything was cooked. Absolutely perfect. Everything tasted delicious. My wife got the pork schnitzel with the home fries and rye toast, and it was cooked perfect. it's seasoned well and crispy. It just tasted like heaven. Shout out to the kitchen crew. You guys rock here. Great job. The service here was on another level. Nichole our waitress was extremely tentative. she always had everything we needed and she's just a pleasure to be around. Everyone here was extremely friendly and very nice. It was our first time here and we will definitely be back. We absolutely love this place in the ambiance is nice. The music here they play is nice. You can bring your family no problem and have a great breakfast. Definitely recommend this place. This is definitely one of the best diners around.

Had lunch here recently and it was very good. We were promptly greeted and seated at a comfortable booth near the entrance. The menu had so many good options which made it hard to choose but I ended up going with the western omelette. The omelette which includes toast and hash browns, was huge! They didn't skimp on the fillings and it was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed every bite and appreciated the great service. My only criticism is the food took a long time to come out, but I can honestly say it was worth the wait. Give this place a try if you want good service and tasty, reasonably priced food.

not like they used to be hence why I set this up to go. The new owners don't care about high end ingredients and I can taste the difference ; I have been coming to this cafe since 2022. The service used to be great and now I fear they may be underpaid and over worked.

We drive bricks Diner everyday and say, "We should check it out." We did just that on Sunday, Feb 9th around 1030am. Being 'brunch' time I expected it to be quite busy but it wasn't bad. We were immediately seated by the nicest hostess ever. Drink orders taken right away and menu review begun. It's an extensive breakfast & lunch menu (both served). My wife opted for the breakfast schnitzel, eggs and hashbrowns. Our server asked if she would like a biscuit or toast. The homemade biscuit was chosen--lighter than air, slightly toasted and required zero condiments! The schnitzel was huge and cooks perfectly. I chose the lunch option of a corned beef Rueben wit homemade potato salad. I have never had such tender corned beef--literally melts in your mouth! Rick's menu is atypical in the best way and the service was outstanding! We'l be back for sure.

This is your quintessential old school diner, and it has such a great vibe paired with delicious food! The menu is complete with breakfast standards, typical lunch fair, and some specialty items sprinkled in. Their homemade biscuits are absolutely decadent and perfectly fluffy... love them! My husband often goes the breakfast route and it's always great- his eggs come as ordered every time! I'm more of a lunch person and have only ordered off the lunch menu. I've never been disappointed! The chicken cesar salad wrap is my absolute favorite. You have a choice of grilled or fried chicken, paired with perfectly fresh and crispy romaine, and the dressing used tastes delicious! I have also loved their turkey reuben, and the hot turkey plate. The hot turkey plate is served with mashed potatoes, green beans, gravy, cranberry sauce, and a biscuit. It will put you in an immediate comforting food coma! The turkey reuben (you have an option of their homemade corned beef as well to really make it a true reuben!) is delicious with the buttery grilled rye bread and coleslaw. Their french fries are crinkly cut and always perfectly fried! Their inside is out-dated but in a positive way (if that makes sense!)! It's really nostalgic of an old diner and why update it to look like every other freakin' restaurant?! The saying, "they don't make 'em like they used to" comes to mind! It's clean, and well-kept. I love that they have the food counter overlooking the semi-open kitchen area. They also have plenty of tables inside and even a couple outdoors. The service is great! We always have the wonderful blonde woman (whose name I forget, and I'm so sorry for that)! She's efficient, sweet, works hard, and is always a familiar Rick's Diner face we love to see! On our most recent visit they had homemade cinnamon rolls. HOLY HECK! This thing was the size of a medium turtle and was worth every calorie! Such a sexy, gooey, sweet treat we took home with us! I hope they have these again, because it was absolutely dreamy. I wish I had taken its photo, but I dove right in like a raccoon eating out of a trash can. See ya soon, Rick's!!

Great place for breakfast. The food is always good and you don't have to wait forever to get it. The place can get quite packed quickly so if you find a table, grab it. Staff always asks to refill your drink and now you can pay at the table instead of the front counter.

Been looking at this place for awhile and finally stopped in today. Greeted upon entry which was so nice , the girls up front were so enthusiastic and cheerful . Our server Cory was wonderful and very attentive and gave some great options . The music was awesome reminded us of A dinner we go to in NY . Also the food was good , no complaints read more

Had brunch here and it was very good. I had the Eggs Benedict and they were perfect. Everyone really liked their choices. The service was very friendly and prompt. Not cheap but worth it. I would go out of my way to dine here. This is what a diner should be - I give it 4 1/2 stars. read more

I don't like to give a bad review to a place that has a following of regular customers that obviously love the place. I would however, like to offer some constructive criticism. It's a busy place for breakfast and lunch. It looks like it could use a facelift. I'd call the decor lovingly worn. The servers are very attentive and I was quickly acknowledged when I walked in. Several people checked on me during my visit. My waitress was helpful in pointing out that over medium was how I should order my eggs if I wanted runny yolks and cooked whites. I ordered a coffee and corned beef hash and eggs with a biscuit. Unfortunately, the coffee mug had a lipstick print on it which was a bad start. Nothing turns me off like a dirty cup, glass or flatware. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the biscuit was fresh and delicious however, the corned beef hash was sort of a salty, mushy blob. I'm sorry to say that I've had much better. It's a busy place with regular customers that the staff call by name and they all seem to love it. Nothing fancy, just a neighborhood diner with decent food at reasonable prices. read more

I'm rating this restaurant a 1 my first time visiting was not acknowledged. The waitress went to service a couple who walked in five minutes after we set at our table. She was very familiar and friendly with the couple and totally ignored us. Will definitely not recommend. read more

Decided to try out Rick's Diner. 11.45 am thank goodness no wait. Menu had everything you could ever imagine wanting, unique menu items from London, Germany, NY, Hawaii and the Midwest. My husband ordered schnitzel and eggs and I ordered the shaved prime rib w/ mushrooms & Swiss omelette and extra crispy hash browns. Both Dishes were scrumptious! Linda our waitress was kind and shared that they are known for their Hawaiian pancakes. Table sitting next to us ordered it and they looked good. Linda surprised us and brought us a smaller version of the Hawaiian pancakes let's just say delicious... I don't even like pancakes. Great way to end the meal "dessert"We will definitely be back. read more

Breakfast was nothing special. Waitress made a ten dollar mistake on our bill. She barely said sorry when we caught it at the register. The owner voided our first charge and while he was fixing the mistake he took the opportunity to voice his political opinion about Joe Biden. What nerve! The breakfast here is great. This time I had the mushroom, swiss, and bacon omelet and it was great. My only suggestion is that they add onions and spices to the hash browns (like every restaurant in town its only potatoes). NOTE: I mention this not as a criticism but only a note to people who might care. None of the staff are wearing masks. St. Lucie County has lifted the mask mandate and some people are embracing this and others are still concerned about wearing masks. I don't think it's an issue and I'll still come to Rick's Diner for a great breakfast. read more

What a delightful experience! The wait staff was fantastic with fun personality!! The food delicious! Two of us had breakfast and one of us had a patty melt with the crispiest and yummy onion rings! Loved the different colored glasses too! The prices were good and even though I busy, the atmosphere was easy to have conversations! I saw family's having conversations with no cell phones! Now that's awesome! Can't wait to go back and sit at the counter this time! Something great to be said about Ricks Diner! Keep up the great atmosphere and food!! First time there and the owner came to greet us. It was slam packed... now we know why. Everything was really amazing, especially the pineapple pancakes. Even if you're not diabetic please bring insulin. They were awesome. Also highly recommend the pork chop and eggs. Can't wait to go back and try some other things. Lunch looks great too! read more

LOVED this spot! They have matchbox cars and coloring books for the kids, which I adore. The food was delicious. We did breakfast for lunch and the omelette was fantastic. The kids enjoyed their pancakes. They have mimosas and bloody Mary's, which I didn't try but looked delicious. This diner is the best diner around. Just go here! I always get the same server, she never judges me for how many mimosas I have with my delicious country fried steak breakfast, they have the perfect sweet tea according to the friend I go with and they are extremely efficient and friendly. Always busy every time we go and that's a good sign. And they are social distancing and taking every precaution. We never have any complaints! That's why we go back!! read more

Solid breakfast place! This past weekend was my first time in Port Saint Lucie. We wanted a good breakfast, so I turned to old faithful, Yelp. Rick's Diner had good reviews so we figured we'd give it a shot. And boy are we glad we did! I ordered a Ham & Cheddar Omelette with hash browns and an everything bagel. The omelette was light, fluffy, and delicious. Everything an omelette should be. I asked for my hash browns on the crispy side, and they were made perfectly. The bagel was good, but it's got nothing on a New York bagel, sorry. The hubby had the Spinach Omelette (with tomato & feta) and really enjoyed it. My father-in-law got the senior version of my entree (Ham & Cheese Omelette, but cheaper). The staff was friendly and the service was good. Reasonable wait time to receive our food after ordering. The diner has a very cute vibe / decor to it. Will definitely return when back in Port Saint Lucie. read more

The BEST breakfast !!! So delicious and flavorful! I had Joe's special and added provolone cheese. My husband was equally pleased with his mushroom and Swiss omelet. We actually were bantering over who's breakfast was better. But more than that the feeling and friendliness is one to none. The whole staff is so happy and gets along amazing. We got the pleasure to meet Cheryl, Sean and Felicia. They were such a pleasure to watch them do a job they are clearly happy to do that I had to stop and compliment them. Keep up guys, you're providing a service people forgot how to do. read more

Rating: (0 if i could star) Definitely not a positive experience. After hearing about the supposedly "best burgers in PSL" and seeing the 5-star reviews, I decided to give Ricks Diner a chance. Unfortunately, my visit turned out to be a huge disappointment. Upon arriving at the diner, I placed a take-out order for their supposedly famous burger, aptly named "Ricks Famous" with cheese. The anticipation grew as I couldn't wait to try out this highly recommended burger. However, when I finally got home and opened the take-out box, my excitement quickly turned into frustration. To my dismay, I was presented with the most plain and unappetizing burger imaginable. It had no toppings, no sauces, no condiments - basically, nothing. This was a far cry from what I had requested when placing my order, as I had specifically asked for everything to be included. Of course, I must admit that part of the blame falls on me for not checking the box before leaving the diner. Nevertheless, as a customer, I shouldn't have to worry about the kitchen neglecting my order. A reputable establishment should take pride in their food and ensure that they deliver what the customer asks for. I felt highly unsatisfied with this experience. Not only did I waste my money on a lackluster burger, but I also lost the opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal that I had been looking forward to. It's disappointing to see how a place with such positive reviews can let its customers down so severely. To future customers, I advise you to be cautious when placing take-out orders at Ricks Diner. Make sure to thoroughly check your order before leaving the establishment to avoid similar disappointment.
