It's been a long while since my first visit here and my meal this time was very tasty. I went for the breaded steak sandwich they are famous for and I can appreciate its reputation. The sauce made it flavorful and I added cheese and peppers which I didn't there was an upcharge for but was glad I did since they did give additional flavor. Also, I tried a bite of my son's Italian beef sandwich that I found to be ok. It made me wonder if that's what I ate during my first visit. My review is for the eggplant parmesan, which was cooked perfectly and had just the right texture. I'd almost say that I could alternate between this and the steak. My coworker that was not abstaining as he had never had the breaded steak ordered one with giardiniera and red sauce. He's about 40 years old and said that he has never had a sandwich like that and after finishing it, can only think about the next time he'd get another one. It's still a 5 star place service 5 star quality food. I ordered a regular and a jumbo sized Breaded Steak Sandwich and I had to wait 45 minutes for it. But it was worth every damn minute. The jumbo is definitely the way to go here. It is very huge. The bread steak was so tender & delicious and rolled up and covered with a very flavorful gravy all in between a very soft bread. I'm order for this sandwich to work, everything has to be perfect. You have to have a good tasting sauce, the steak has to be seasoned perfect and the bread has to be fresh and soft. It can't be chewy. Ricobene's gives you all of that! I would highly suggest calling an hour before you actually get hungry. Otherwise you'll probably get hangry. And that's never a good thing.
