I returned yesterday and had a couple of super chicken tacos ($3 each) with a friend - delicious (and no rubbery pieces!) When Rico's is on, they make great chicken tacos - SUPER (not regular...too bland). I tried a burrito once...blah. Good for a quick lunch spot, but not really a restaurant for "dining." When I called to let them know about the mistake the fat old lady sitting there taking orders starting yelling at me and then hung up. The owner of the place who's name is Concepcion doesn't seem to care that her daughters who are the cashiers treat customers so bad, I have been there twice and they don't take orders in kindly way, they treat customers like if we ate homeless asking for food, plus the owner raised the tacos to almost $5 a taco, and they don't even want to give us pico de Gallo, they now sell it, and they don't want customers to use the restroom either. I don't think I'll be going back, I'd rather go to Super Taqueria, they are exact the same tacos but they are cheaper and better customer service. read more

Wish I could give the place a better review because the food is really good. However, the service atrocious. I never judge a place based on one visit. You never know if someone is just having an off day like we all have, and I believe in second chances. That being, said I've given this place at least three opportunities and it's always been the same. The main host or supervisor is rude, hostile and disrespectful. She has a bad attitude and she seems to genuinely be annoyed by people asking questions or making specific orders. It has turned me off of this restaurant and I won't be giving it any more my business. If you're in the service industry a good attitude goes a long way. She always has this stern look on her face, then I say something nice to her and out comes this beautiful infectious smile!! (She does not know it but I call her Moma in my head ) you can tell she so passionate and sweet. (You just need to look deeper) anyway I digress. The heavy girl working the cash register was exceptionally RUDE. She didn't acknowledge and greet any customers, myself included. I purchased a number of tacos and when I asked for salsa for each taco, she refused and said they only give a maximum of 4. I PAID $32.70 FOR 6 TACOS! They don't offer chips like most Mexican restaurants nor do they have a salsa bar so asking for an additional small plastic premade salsa cup per taco is not asking much, especially now during covid. People don't share salsa. She said it cost money for addl taco sauce so I paid but now I wish I wouldn't have bought anything from her. The TACO MEAT was DRY and tough like BEEF JERKY and the AVOCADO'S were BROWN. Skip the place and go to a real mexican restaurant. They are rude, expensive, dirty and offer only basic stuff. This was one of the first restaurants that my coworkers introduced me to when I started working in Campbell. From the outside, this place looks like a hole in the wall (just like many other restaurants in Campbell). But let me just say, this place has one of the BEST tacos I've ever had. Inside of each are perfectly sliced avocados which add a freshness to the taco. It's hard to explain until you try. I typically order 3 super tacos with carne asada and ask them to make it extra crispy. 3 is enough for me, but there are times when I wished I had ordered 4 because they're that addicting. The green sauce they provide is super yummy too! I also like to get their horchata and it's very refreshing and perfect sweetness. My co-worker likes to order the buche (pork cheeks) tacos and he says they've got some "spring" in the chewiness of the meat, but are extremely tender. The only negatives about this place is that it looks dirty and is very run down inside and the tables are never really wiped down, so it makes me lose my appetite which causes me to take the food to go. Another negative is that it only takes cash! There is an ATM machine inside, but I don't always carry my debit card with me. I had been meaning to try this spot for a while on the recommendation by a good friend of mine. During shelter in place, it seemed like an even better time to support local/small business. I was craving a burrito but the yelpers were singing the high praises about the super tacos. I've tried lots of little mom and pop joints in the area but Rico's has the best tacos, hands down. We got 3 super tacos; carnitas, buche, and asada...they came with perfectly melted cheese, a generous portion of meat and fresh avocado wrapped up in a crispy taco shell and a soft one (but the shell wasn't to crispy where it crumbled after you bit into it. We also got two asada super burritos, which were good, large in size but the tacossssss, oh my lord they were just so good. Oh also, the salsa is good too -- both have a kick, the green is more mild then the orange but enjoyed them both! We called in our order for pick up, it was ready in 10 minutes or so and was reasonably priced. This spot is tucked behind some trees in the corner of the parking lot so might be hard to find, super clean inside and the staff was helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back again, probably ordering all tacos next time & also want to try the nachos. read more

Fire! A hidden gem in Campbell. My absolute favorite here is the buche super tacos, not only is the buche hella good (soft, crispy edges, flavorful) but they put a slice of cheese between tortilla number 1 and tortilla number two and that just makes the taco. The two salsas that they offer are the rojo sauce and the verde sauce both are well made with quality products and spicy! The service here is top notch, the lady that runs the joint with her daughter and son and she is so nice, she calls me mijo and my brother pequeno Mijo. However, I felt that this place was not friendly or welcoming. The place was empty and I tried to start a friendly conversation about how good the menu look the girl at register ignored me and I spoke to her twice. Good food, bad service . Tho only reasons this place stays in business is because of good location and good food. It certainly is not due to the friendly attitude. The owner and her daughter can be very rude. They talk to you in a very terse, abrupt manner like they are better than you. They certainly want your money though. They will get rude and hostile and act like the mistake was yours, even if they got the order wrong or you were not satisfied. The men who prepare the food are ok. I was recently there and i ordered a burrito and taco. I also asked for two cups of ice water as their sodas are overpriced. The girl took one cup and put a quarter cup of ice in the cup! She then told me the water was in the refrigerator. I asked her for another cup of ice water. She gave me a rude look like i was stealing from her pocket and gave me another cup but no ice. When the food was ready, i asked her if there was a problem when i asked her for a second water cup. She says "I told you the water is in the refrigerator". I reminded her that i had asked for two cups of ice water and there seemed to be a problem with getting another cup. She again stated that the water was in the refrigerator. I stated i know that but that there seemed to be problem when i asked for another cup for water. She gets huffy and says "Well I am sorry you thought that" and then ignored me. The problem with this place is that the owner is rude and she has taught her daughter to act in the same way. The daughter knows she can act in any way because her mom is the owner. Just came here to try these tacos because my co-workers raved about this place. Their menu which I've taken a picture of on pricing and vegetarian options. Food was good, but I probably wouldn't return. I think I prefer street style tacos and the taco was pretty big. I think this is just based on preference. 2 super tacos was very filling for me, for the price and amt of food it was worth it. The cooks are very fast at wrapping and multitasking, you don't have to wait that long for your food. I would give them a SOLID 3 stars. I took off 2 stars for the rude cashier. I immediately noticed she was very rude to the person ahead of me and wouldn't give her more sauce when she got an to-go pick up order.. After waiting for my food, I carefully watched the cashier interact with other customers.. and she was EXTREMELY rude to everyone else as well..
