Came here based on recommendations from friends. Ordered my Carnitas Super Burrito and sat down to wait. Order got called and my friend went and grabbed the food, presenting his meal on the tray and mine nowhere to be found. Went back up to the front and asked why I didn't receive my food. First was told by the female cashier I didn't order anything to begin with, then said I didn't speak up loud enough. Well, if you couldn't hear me wouldn't you ask for clarification so I could repeat myself?? Finally got my food and a short apology while my friend waited for me before he ate his food. Bad service. I went in to get a burrito and as I was telling the cashier my order I asked for my carne asada to be well done but she said they couldn't do that, I'm not sure why they couldn't she didn't give me a reason and I asked for rice in my burrito since it doesn't come with some and for a regular burrito I don't think it's worth the $9 I spent. I couldn't enjoy it because it wasn't to my liking. They put way too many beans and only a little bit of rice despite me having to pay extra for it and the rice had no flavor there was only a little bit of meat and it was undercooked. I found this place on Yelp and read some good reviews, so my bf and I went here to grab something to eat before going to a movie. I agree that price is cheap for their foods' quality and quantity, but they were out of "beans" that night.... Taqueria out of beans?? It is like Gordon Biersch out of beer, DSW out of shoes!! When I get a food craving there's nothing I crave more than a super carne asada taco from Ricos. I've been coming here for 10 years and everyone I show this place to say the same thing - it's addicting. The slightly crispy tortilla is filled with juicy and flavorful carne, melted cheese, pinto beans, avocado, and some pico de gallo. While waiting for your food go to the fridge and grab a bottle of the green sauce and a bottle of the red sauce...no need for a salsa bar because these two sauces pair with the taco like it was somehow meant to be. Oh Rico's Tacos where have you BEEN all my life!! Where do I begin...?... I'd heard about this place a million times but since I don't live nor work in Campbell, just didn't get around to making it over there. Big mistake!! Their carne asada tacos are worth every cent in gas to drive across town. I swear I've never tasted anything like them. And the avocado is just the perfect finishing touch!!! Get ready to pull out $2 bucks for a little basket of those round, not-so-tasty chips that look like they came out of a huge sack you would buy at Costcos. But no doubt that the tacos are very very good. Classic preparation with the dual corn tortillas. I like to start with the positive side of Ricos Tacos, First of all i really enjoy their super tacos they beat any other super taco around the bay especially their carnitas one. On the other side the their flautas need an upgrade they are not as flavorish lol. I suggest adding tomatoes inside the flautas . And to much lettuce added on the side the sour cream and guacamole nearly helps get a taste. Oh and last thing the young lady attending with glasses isn't very courteous a bit cold she doesn't say welcome When coming in and thank you when purchasing. I am not one to write reviews but after my last experience here it was only necessary. My family and I placed an order to go and once we got home we found out the order was completely wrong. We called back to inform them that they messed up and wanted to see what could be done, but instead the daughter began yelling on the phone that it was out fault that we didn't realize the price difference. She then proceeded to hang up on us, so we called back and the owner answered. She was extremely rude and continued to yell and not let us get a word in over the phone. My girlfriend and I were running short on time looking for food since we had a movie at Cinelux next door to catch within an hour. She spotted the joint as we were driving up to the plaza, so without question we walked in expecting little. What we got: - regular flour quesadilla with lengua and added avocado. Corn opt available. Crispy, Yup! 5/5! - flautas with chicken(wished they had potato as an opt but no biggie). Comes with shredded cabbage and house guacamole.) Crispy and served hot. It was pretty average and would pass. Needed to use salsas on table to give it more wow. 2/5. - one regular lengua taco. It comes with whole pinto beans and a bit of the protein juice. Really good! Loved it with the salsa verde! 4/5. I really like how I didn't feel so stuffed after lunch. The food was not greasy and I really enjoyed how they offer salsa rojo and verde at each table for convenience. If you wanted extras for your meal it was an added $0.60 which isn't bad - that includes the avocado! +1star The staff were quick and our turn-around time for getting our food was within 5mins, or so it felt like, from paying. Which by the way they accept both cash and card(small fee)! +1star Love the spacious tables, open kitchen, and overall clean environment which the lady up front mastered pausing from the register to do a quick sweep of the place to give the cooks a break to finish up existing orders till going back to taking orders! +1star Loved how bubbly the lady managing the spot is. I had part of an acrylic nail colored in shiny pink in my super Taco!!!!! We were super hungry coming from a long drive and we stopped by for quick tacos fix. We wanted to try most of everything. We got a super asada taco and a regular asada taco along with regular tacos of lengua and carnitas. So I tackle the super taco only to get some solid something in my mouth and guess what! It is part of an acrylic nail polished in shiny pink. Horrible! Never had that happen like ever. I would understand a hair But a NAIL no thank you. Nowadays they've raised their prices quite a bit and don't offer anything more than they used to - actually might offer less. 5 dollars for a super taco is just too much. They're not that super, for a meal you have to eat 3 or 4, and the carne asada was Just ok. Their bathroom had a sign that said "Closed" but I went in anyway and the bathroom works fine.. So why do you not want to share that w your customers? Last time I was there the kids of the owner (or staff Idk) were climbing all over everything, yelling, and bothering us nonstop bec we were the next table over. One of the employees kept coming to tell them to relax, to sit down, and to leave ppl alone, but the kids were misbehaved and defiant. Was really annoying so we finished quick and left. This is our go to taco/burrito spot. our favorite thing to order are the super tacos with asada or carnitas and we make sure to order the taco crispy...add some of that spicy red sauce and its perfect!! The meat here is very good. Carnitas are never dried out but juicy with a little crispy to them. Most of the time we walk in and sit down and eat.. I'd have to say Saturday afternoons are probably their busiest time. We walked in around 1pm one Sat and had to wait a little longer for a table of which is fine we don't care. But in case you dont want to wait you can call in ahead and pick it up...they usually have it ready for you in 10 minutes or less! read more

Amazing tacos like what everyone says. Everything tastes so fresh and the meat seasoned perfectly. I don't know of any other place that makes their tacos extra crispy. The combination of the taste and the texture makes it one of the best tacos I've ever had. The only downside is the workers but it could be worse. This last Sunday, 06-25-2017 a friend of mine and myself were in the area and decided to give Rico's Tacos a try. The restaurant was busy, but we noticed when we went up to the counter they accepted "CASH ONLY". We did not have enough cash on us, so we walked over to the Bank of the West, pulled out some money and went back to Rico's Tacos to place our order. When we went to order I told the lady behind the counter what I wanted, it was just the regular burrito, and a can of soda. There was an older (very unhappy) lady running the register looked at me and very abruptly said to me that all orders (even cash) had to be over $10. I looked at her and asked her to repeat what she said, then she got nasty with me and said "ALL ORDERS, EVEN CASH" had to be over $10. It is a $10 minimum on all orders no matter what. I was a little shocked, looked at my friend and laughed and said "are you kidding me". So we turned around and walked out. It was disappointing to say the least. The food looked good, smelled good. I can understand having a minimum with using bank cards because of the fees the bank charges merchants,....BUT CASH? WOW!. Needless to say, I don't think I will be going back to Rico's Tacos any time soon. read more

Worse taco I've ever eaten. I just wanted a meat/cheese & lettuce taco. Simple right? They charged me an extra $1.50 for the lettuce, and an extra $1.50 for the cheese, because they don't put those things on their tacos! What the heck??? The cheese was an awful liquid cheese. Best tacos out there. Try me if you know of anywhere that does them better. Super carne asada are my go to. They crisp the tortillas and melt the cheese which are both key to the perfect taco in my opinion. Their red and green sauce are bomb, definitely use both. Five star food. But one star for customer service... I typically like to help and support smaller, family owned restaurants if their food is amazing (which this restaurants food is). But their overall attitude is terrible. It feels like they actively go out of their way to be rude and make you feel dumb when ordering. If the employees are going to make me feel bad/guilty about ordering food, or asking for extra sauce, or a lime... ehh... Ill pass and just buy the food elsewhere. Super Taqueria has the same tasting food/recipes, but with better service. Id drive the extra distance to not have to feel that guilt after paying. As a customer, I shouldn't feel guilty after making a purchase. If customers are feeling guilty, you're doing something wrong and are most definitely shooting yourself in the foot. Especially if you have a good product to offer. Hopefully they read these reviews and change their ways. It'd go a long way, I promise them that much.
