I was a little disappointed when they didn't replace 100% everything, and we weren't told it wouldn't be replaced until after we already finished the repairs and noticed the difference. That was pretty disappointing and I think should've been pointed out before deciding to have them fix the car, since we could've gone elsewhere that the insurance company provided. Otherwise, repair was completed as expected.

I came from having experience with high prices from Midas and was immediately comforted with the down to earth staff and reasonable prices. I appreciate that they will always take my car and look at it to tell me the diagnosis rather quickly. However during 2022-2023 I felt like they overestimated the repairs and charged way too much. I feel like they no longer care about the customers best interest, they will flatly ask a repair cost that's double the cost of the car and act like they don't care if you can't afford it. Everything to them is "necessary". I feel like they aren't real anymore. Also the repair quality itself has gone down as my control arm all of a sudden "failed". I have a 17 year old car that is 150k miles. I am no stranger to getting it repaired. I believe that a car that is taken care of will take care of you. Where I take it matters, and unfortunately I no longer can rationalize taking it here. It's disappointing to spend that much money at a shop and for them not to even remember you. I'm not sure what management is doing but it is not the same shop it was just a few years ago.

Wilmette Auto Body fixed the sunroof and then referred me to Brothers Auto Upholstery to fix the carpet/padding/mold issue. While Brothers had the car he realized water was still getting in--I called Wilmette Auto Body back and they 1) called Brothers directly to discuss 2) went into the city to pick-up the car to bring back to assess 3) confirmed the sunroof was not to blame 4) found a different clogged drain causing the issue 5) brought my car back to Brothers...all with only one phone call from me! He actually told me he lubed my 4 doors trying to justify his outrageous invoice. I experienced humming noise when my ac was on high after I left. Brought car into muller Honda and they told me when autocare replaced the cabin air filter debris fell into the power motor causing it to become unbalanced. Had to pay $190 to honda. So my oill change and 2 filters cost me around $800. Would never go back.

Looking at other posted reviews, I think some customers might misinterpret the owner's manner of speaking. We find him to be friendly and forthcoming. He has often been willing to road test our car at short notice to figure out what is wrong so he can get the parts and set an appropriate appointment.
