I just came here looking for a new cafe for lazy weekend mornings. It's hard to find the street itself unless you're using GPS, and it's in a big business park. I can see this being very popular among the employees around there, but you'd never find it by accident otherwise. Our coffee was good, but my drink was only warm and not hot, think Starbucks style. Not my personal preference because it doesn't give me time to slow down and enjoy the experience. We saw on the online menu before we came in that there were a few breakfast items including "egg sandwiches," but there was only one when we got there, and it was a sad greasy microwaved thing. Really disappointed in that and would have preferred to know that before we ordered it. The place is decorated well and is huge, has a kids play area which is great for parents. It's a nice cafe but not sure I'll pick this over others in my rotation. read more

This place is too cute!!!! From the coffee bar, to the lounge chairs, sofas, and large tables. This place is good for breakfast, lunch, studying, even a coffee date! I absolutely love it. Excellent coffee and pastries, but truly phenomenal areas to work and chat with friends. This shop is easily 8 times the size of my favorite shop in Salt Lake City--the size of which I frequently complain about to anyone in my home who will listen--and has a dramatic variety of seating options. From plush leather chairs in which to put on your best "The Thinker" impression to tables with ample space for a rousing match of Twilight Imperium over lattes and pop tarts, Ridgetop fulfills all my wildest people-watch-to-procrastinate-your-own-responsibilities dreams. The first few times I went here I wasn't impressed. HOWEVER, I think this is a classic case of ordering the right thing for your taste. I'm a self proclaimed coffee snob and used to be a barista so I'm very picky about my foam lol having said that, the foam is always on point! A latte is a latte foam wise... I'm dairy free and they have oat milk available! This is wonderful and super hard to find in many coffee places. But I will say that it was burnt when I ordered an oat milk latte. When I came back and ordered an iced latte with soy milk it was A1! PRO TIP: If you're like a lot of other people and are used to Starbucks level sweetness in your coffee note that this establishment uses more subdued sweeteners so you might have to double it. The first they time gave me 2 pumps of vanilla I thought they forgot it! Now I get 4 in my iced latte and hot latte and it's perfect! Lots of room, great atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly. They also have food and the baked goods are cheap! Definitely recommend - it's my new fave! Starbucks who??? read more

First coffee shop I've visited since moving and pleasantly surprised! I frequent tons of coffee shops (grad student) and always run into not enough space or outlets. This was not an issue here as there was plenty of tables and space for people to do work but also sitting areas for people to meet up. I stayed for about 5 hours and their menu is filled with drinks and food to keep me full. Most (if not all) of their workers were wearing masks and they had shaded outdoor seating. I've been here about 3 times. I want to love it!! It's cute and has much more charm than Starbucks or Panera. But there's always something missing. Today there was a problem with my order. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on wheat bread instead of a croissant, an order I've had here in the past. After waiting awhile my name was called. And I was given a turkey sandwich on wheat. I told the guy that wasn't what I ordered, but I'd take it anyways because my time was limited. He said they would get me the chicken salad sandwich I ordered. And I still had to wait quite a while. And I was given a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. I told the guy it was still wasn't what I originally ordered, but I took it anyways. This really shouldn't be that hard. And what is equally annoying is that we are expected tip before receiving our (wrong twice) order. What am I tipping for? My other related frustration is that mostly young people take the orders, which is fine, but they are all so unfriendly and quiet. There is no enthusiasm at all. No smiles, no courtesies, a "thank you". They all seem like they'd rather be anywhere else. I will say the sandwich and iced coffee I had today were good. This place was great, but one thing people love, we hate: Because of the mini-playground in the back (and all the empty space in the coffee shop itself), there's tons of kids running around - too many for us - and they're loud and rambunctious. We sat by the door and nearly every customer had 3-4 kids in tow after a certain hour. If you're looking for somewhere to relax and have quiet time, either come here early or...maybe find somewhere else. If you have kids, this place is probably great for you. read more

What a lovely place to spend a Sunday morning! I was surprised to find that the coffee shop is in the lobby of a building and is filled with comfy seating, puzzles and good vibes. There is a Presbyterian church service in a room off the lobby and after church there was a long line for coffee. Although I didn't come here for church, the coffee itself was delicious, and the environment was relaxing. If you're going on Sunday, make sure to get your coffee before 10:45! read more

I've been to Ridgetop a couple of times now and I am conflicted about this review. Pros: - The place itself is wonderful. It's large, spacious, clean, with lots of seating options and a nice place to order. - Management seems excellent. I like the owner. He cares a lot about the business and the community. - They hold nice events for the community, such as a craft fair around Christmas time. - They have a place for kids to play. Cons: - Both drinks I have tried there have been mediocre. - The first was a London Fog, which tasted just OK. - The second was their bittersweet hot chocolate, which was awful. I gave it to someone else to try and they agreed. A very strange chocolate taste that was unnatural and unpleasant. I never do this but I threw that drink in the trash after only two sips. read more

I absolutely adore this cafe. We found this location while at a local mom's group meet up, and will definitely be returning in the future. The menu is simple, but has everything you'd expect a Cafe to. I ordered myself an iced coffee and brownie. My toddler ordered a banana (yes, there's fresh fruit) and snacked on complimentary Cheerios. There's a big play area for your toddlers to unwind while you drink your coffee. There's also a smaller more contained area for smaller children under 2. There's also a meeting room. Restrooms are clean. No complaints! read more

First off, the place is HUGE. They have a lot of different types of seating- large table for 5/6 people, high tops for 3/4 as well as some couches and smaller tables for 1-4 people. I also saw another (conference?) room with one large table. Not sure if that's only for reservations or if it's just there in case there is a large group of people. I sat at a table to get some work done and it was a nice set up- i noticed they had plugged in an extension cord so there were more outlets in case people needed to charge laptops or phones. I had a chai tea latte and a mocha (both hot). I docked one star because they somehow lost my first order for the chai tea so i was waiting around for like 15 minutes while others after me were served even though i can been chatting with the barista about my order. I understand this is a simple mistake and happens at most Coffee shops, but still. The chai was delightful, as was the mocha. The shop is super cute and is actually owned by riverside side church (i found out as i was there). Idk how i feel about them not being more forward about it being owned by the church, but I'll keep coming back for the drinks anyways. read more

I came here with my laptop to work for an hour. Friendly service. I ordered Cafe Au Lait but with coffee in the pot. So the server made it as coffee with milk, which was cheaper than Cafe Au Lait. I also had the scone from the day before which was half off price. It was still as good as fresh one. The shop is very large and spacious. I saw many people stopping by on their way to work for a quick coffee break. The location is in the suburban industrial/business area, but it's worth driving here for a good coffee break. read more

After reading all the rave reviews for this place, my husband and I decided to check it out. Unfortunately, this place missed the mark for us. The gluten free muffin was moist, but had zero flavor, the chai tea was either watered down or made from liquid concentrate--which my husband does not like, and the vegan gluten free cinnamon roll was okay, but not worth the price. The best part of our order was the latte. I will also mention a concern: neither of the girls handling our food were wearing gloves. This coffee shop is huge. It's in an office type building but inside is beautiful. It's quiet enough to come and study or to catch up with friends. There's a play area in the back so parents can enjoy coffee. Big parking lot so no need to worry about parking. Ordered the cappuccino and was delicious. read more
