I dropped by one day in the middle of the day, and they weren't particularly busy. They only had one barista server behind the counter. They were polite and patiently waited for me to figure out what I wanted. The shop itself is very cute and organized. They carry a lot of cute plushies that include boba drink plushies and panda plushies. I ordered the mango green tea without any toppings and customized with 50% sweetness and less ice. With changing the sweetness level of boba, it's always a gamble on how it's going to affect the overall drink (most of the time, regular sweetness level is too much for me). The drink was okay, I wish there was more mango flavor in it though. I think maybe 75% sweetness would fix it, but I'm really not sure. Overall, I think it's an okay boba tea shop. If I'm at Dulles Town Center again, maybe I'll stop by and try a milk tea instead. read more

Panda Tea House gets the job done if you're craving bubble waffles, ice cream or boba. They also have a large selection of panda items, which brings in even more cuteness to the store. It can get busy, I went inside on a Saturday and there was nobody there, but then right when I ordered, there was a large influx of people who arrived inside. There were only 2 staff members working, so they were super busy. I just ordered a bubble waffle since that was what I was craving, but usually people will get the waffle with ice cream (there's plenty of flavor options with toppings). Saw this cute boba shop upon walking around the mall and decided to try it out. I had some pretty high hopes and expectations. I ordered just a simple Thai Tea with Boba less sweet. I didn't know it was actually a Thai Milk Tea w/Boba so the milk was definitely overpowering the actual tea. I definitely would prefer a stronger tea flavor but it was still pretty decent. We first tried Panda Tea House at Springfield Town Center. That location has now closed and it was so nice to see them open up at Dulles Town Center. The cashier was kind. The store didn't look all that clean but maybe we came on an off day. Ordered a rolled ice cream, which was creamy and had good flavor. We haven't had a chance to try their boba tea drinks yet. You can create your own rolled ice cream flavor by choosing from their list of ice cream bases, toppings, and drizzles. You can also pick from one of their set specialty ice cream rolls. They have the option of adding a bubble waffle for $1.50. It's always so much fun watching your ice cream creation being prepared in front of you. You may have to wait awhile for your order. It's worth the wait. There are some chairs inside, but it's primarily a grab and go type place. I'm so glad we got a chance to visit and can't wait to try some of their other flavors read more

Saw posts about this place and it looked so good so I had to come here and try it for myself. My first choice was not available - I think I wanted The Purple Heart originally so I had to go with the Pina-Delight instead. Overall, the dessert was good. The puffle was warm and toasty and the rolled ice cream along with the puffle complemented each other. My only complaint was it was a bit on the sweeter side once the pineapple jelly was all mixed on. Too sweet for me. I would try the Purple Heart one if I happened to be at the mall again. read more

After paying & waiting patiently for rolled ice cream, we were told that the person who makes the ice cream was scheduled to leave. If that was the case, do NOT take an order knowing that you aren't going to be able to fulfill the order. I would particularly recommend AVOIDING THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE ANY ALLERGIES. This review is strictly for their boba and service. I ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea and was informed by the cashier that the sweetness levels could be changed, so I asked for 75% and got my order number. It was a busy day, as all the staff were occupied making the bubble waffle Thai ice cream rolls. Thus, I had to wait for about 15 minutes, which is honestly about 10 minutes too long for a drink. When my order was finally next in the queue, it literally took the lady 30 seconds to dispense the premade tea and add ice and boba. LITERALLY 30 seconds. Insane. They should have a separate staff member just to make drink orders because making those who order just boba have to wait around for other people's ice cream orders is ridiculous. Additionally, the lady who made my drink told me that the sweetness actually couldn't be changed for that particular drink. So I took the 100% and it tasted like melted ice cream. I wouldn't be surprised if they cut corners by using their ice cream mixture in this drink (maybe others?). The boba itself was actually pretty decent--the flavor was good, but the balls were just a bit too mushy. Not sure if this means they overcook it, but if they could get it to a more chewy consistency, that would be great. Overall, a very sub-par experience for a $7.73 (including $1 tip) drink. I might come back in a month or two after they implement some operational changes, because the potential is there--they just haven't reached it yet. read more

First time we visited was during their grand opening and we did not have a good experience with the teas (did not taste authentic) and ice cream had a weird texture to it, not much flavor. Recently when we ordered a brown sugar milk tea, we were given a drink with no tea in it. When we got the replacement it ended up just being a black milk tea. Maybe they don't make the brown sugar one with tea. Didn't make sense to us. The black milk tea was passable, mediocre at best. Second time, we ordered a green milk tea, and it had a gritty texture with a weird aftertaste. We probably won't be ordering bubble tea again. However, we LOVE their bubble waffle!! We order at least one every time and plan to come back for it when we go to the mall. Personally I like to bring out the inner child in me and I get the chocolate ice cream with an egg waffle, oreos, chocolate syrup and M&Ms. Its a mountain of deliciousness that continues to attract me. They have a very cute atmosphere inside the store and the customer service was very courteous and polite. They sell little anime knick knacks and just overall gives me a positive flashback to childhood. I have only been here once but I must say I am really looking forward to coming back for more since they ran out of mochi when I got there last time.
