I see the reviews of this place average out to around 3 stars (so-so), but I have brought my car here a few times now for an internal and external detailing, and they always do a good job. I was particularly impressed this time, when I had a couple stains on my passenger and driver seats, one of which had been there for months that I didn't think would come out, and they got rid of it! It looked spotless on the inside, and the exterior was shiny and clean, especially the rims. When I picked my car up today, I was blown away by how good it looked. My car was brand new. Better than showroom quality. The interior was all fresh, shiny and immaculate! Just bought a new (to me) 2013 Camry and I took it to Ridgewood Auto Wash for an interior detail. I was most concerned with the overpowering air freshener scent and was really hoping they'd be able to get it out. Braedon, the manager, took a look as I was dropping it off and mentioned that the air freshener was probably masking cigarette smoke odors. (bummer!) So I had to adjust my expectations. The car was ready to go by 1PM, earlier than expected, and the scent was about 85% gone. Braedon even gave me an extra scent bomb to try at home to further deodorize the car. I only use this car wash because it's the best but today well not so good. a month ago I got " the ultimate " package and my car looked brand new inside and out. even the inside doors were wiped down. so today I got the same package and it wasn't even close to what I was expecting. the dash wasn't even wiped down. not sure how the workers know who and which cars pay for what service once the car gets thru the wash part but mine did not get the service I paid for. We set up an appointment for first thing the next morning and they were prompt, assigned 4 to my rig and I was on my way by 9:30am. I've been going to this auto wash since I was born. My dad was a huge fan of this place back in the day. I've recently gone back 3 times and my car is never clean after getting it washed. They ask you what scent do you want before your car goes through and once you get into the car... There is no scent. Eh. Not impressed anymore. They rush around even when not busy. They used to be the best but the mighty have fallen. It seems they don't even change towels. So all I get is streaks and white from salt water. They rear of my car looks like my son wiped it. The front grill looks like they took a dirty rag and smeared it all over. They used to pay attention to detail and workmanship. However that time seems to have passed. I have been a long time customer and am very disappointed. I usually come here all the time and never had any issues. Paid 30 dollars for a wash and got nothing out of it. The wheels are so dirty, back set is beyond muddy. My car looks worse than before. It's like the wiped the mud all over my car. Just beyond disappointed. NEVER AGAIN! read more

Don't waste your money. I paid for an "ultimate" car wash and asked specifically do you vacuum the trunk and the mats and clean the cup holders... yes yes yes. When it was completed they didn't clean any of that. Why would I waste my money for my cat to not be cleaned. I wouldn't even take a free car wash if someone offered to pay because it's such a waste. Stay away! I saw the reviews and went anyway I should have gone else where. When I brought the lack of care to their attention they said it costs more money meanwhile I paid for the HIGHEST package. Seriously wtf Since I can not answer a comment left: why would I try again when they were not helpful the first time around and when I went in to ask why my car wasn't cleaned they just said oh well that's what you paid for. I don't know why people be hatin' on this place so hard. Ridgewood Auto Wash gets the job done. Maybe I'm partial because I've been coming here way before I could even drive, when my mom had to boost me up to so I could view our 1992 Chevy Blazer being washed. Ahh... *End memory sequence* They've got a nice comfortable waiting area with skylights, complimentary coffee, and magazines to read. There's also snacks, drinks, air fresheners, armor all, floor mats, sunglasses, toys, maps & atlases, and car chargers for sale. Very swift service, it never takes long unless there's a big line. If you prefer to view the guys cleaning the inside of your car, there's an outdoor waiting area as well. $15 isn't bad for a full service wash, and they do a good job. I usually spend the extra $1.50 for fragrance, although it only lasts a day or two. All in all, this place isn't bad. Don't listen to the haters, try out Ridgewood Auto Wash (even though it's technically in Glen Rock.) read more

So I picked this hand car wash because my car is modified and doesn't fit in some car wash . So area is nice and clean but the issue I'm having is that all they clean is the outside because inside wasn't even cleaned . No carpet vacuum or floor mat re moved . Also have a fitted racing seat and they moved it passed the b pillar area causing damage to rear of seat now . Kind and accommodating manager seemingly being undermined by their staff. Explain to me why after spending $180 on a full detail my car has splotches, rough lines, and dirt all across my back bumper? Explain to me how i'm told there's no need to clear my back trunk so I leave it there only to come home and find my stuff missing? Then having to go back to retrieve it and be late the next morning.. EXPLAIN to me how I go in with perfect tire pressure and come back to a flat that I was told wasn't their fault and had to pay another $20 someplace else, reliable, to fix it? This wasn't even hours or so later. The second I got my car back after having not been there PSI was down to 19 from 40. I had the fill it on the spot only for it to drop back to 22 by the time I was home. Wouldn't recommend, don't want to go back. Manager's a nice guy just can't let these mistakes occur again. What happened to this place? I used to always go here and they did a decent job, but lately they've been doing a horrible job! Last two times, the inside of my car was not clean! Why go back? Well, I don't have a hose, or maybe I'm just a lazy POS....but now I will look elsewhere! The outside of my SUV looks fine, but inside! Doesn't look touched! I noticed there was an asprin on the floor before I pulled in...and I guess the 5 guys "cleaning/pretending to" my car thought I wanted to keep it because it was still there when my car was "done" I'm NEVER going back. When you have to get out your 3 year old dustbuster to clean your car after a not so cheap car wash...you know you are being RIPPED OFF! The prices are outrageous, plain and simple. All I wanted was a simply exterior car wash but they didn't have that option. I was going to leave but there was a line of cars behind so I went in. $14.50 gets you a "full service" car wash. The interior came out dirtier than then when I left it thanks to the workers boots. I went for the Ultimate Car Wash for $24. My car looks sparkly clean. There wasn't a line and everything was super speedy. I went for the Baby Powder as my "Air Freshener" and I feel like it's a little too strong for me. I might air my car out a little bit tonight.. Oh well, lesson learned. They moved the stuff around in my trunk to make sure they got everything. I wish, however, that they had put things back where they got them. I didn't realize until I drove away that my sideview mirror had been pushed out so I couldn't see out of that side. Also my floor mats weren't hooked so I had to do that too. Just fine for a quick wash, especially to get road debris or pollen off of your car. But if you're in for a serious cleaning, best go some place else. As another yelper mentioned, they used to clean the interior and exterior well with even just the basic wash. Nothing serious, but windows cleaned, dash wiped down, seats vacuumed. Now I pre-clean my interior before I go, otherwise there is one swipe on the dashboard cleaned, spray drips all over the sills, and the seats in the front/back aren't touched. They still do a good job on the exterior, and the floor mats/baseboards are always cleaned well. However, overall the quality of the cleaning has gone down significantly in the last year or so. The staff is always courteous, and they offer numerous discounts and coupon booklets. read more
