Last Spring I hired RighTemp HS to do a full replacement of a 30-year old HVAC system in my Riverside, CA home. Patrick provided me with a full customized HVAC system quote that checked all of the boxes. Patrick spec'd out a dual-fuel heating and air conditioning system that is future ready. It included a variable speed inverter compressor/heat pump unit outdoors and a 95% efficient gas furnace indoors. He also replaced & upgraded all of our old falling apart duct-work, including all new registers throughout the house. We now have the ability to heat our home using natural gas or electric, and the air conditioner worked amazing last Summer! During this project we met Patrick, John, Shawn and Joe. Everyone did a really great job and were very easy to work with! Just recently I hired RighTemp to replace our old gas water heater. After working with Amy over the phone (who was amazing by the way), Joe and David came out the very next day to install a brand new gas water heater. Quality customer service and honesty is what you will get from this company. My air conditioner stopped working, the fan would not spin. I had a technician come out and take a look at my system. The guy tells me my system is from 1997 and tells me nothing can be done to fix it. He proceeds to tell me that my ducting needs to be repaired, but recommended replacing it. He gives me a quote for $30,000 to replace everything. I decided to get a second estimate and called Rightemp. Initially when I called it went to voicemail, I didn't leave a message, but figured I would call back later. A few minutes later I received a text from Amy telling me that she is on another call and will call me back. Sure enough she did. She was able to set me up with an appointment that same day. Patrick shows up a few hours later and immediately notices that there were some wires that appeared to have been chewed on by one of my dogs. Believing my system was from 1997, I asked how much it would be to replace the system. Patrick looked at it and told me that my system was actually from 2018 and showed me how to read the serial number to understand what year it was manufactured in. He then looks at my ducting and tells me that I could replace it but I would be wasting my money. I was already planning on replacing my entire system but Patrick told me there was no need to and was able to fix the problem right there. He could have easily tried to sell me on an new system and undercut the previous company, but he said that he believes in karma and chooses to do what is right for the customer. read more

Thanks to Mr. Patrick Mottola and his team, the consummate professionals, for keeping their word! He said and promised we would be sleeping comfortably in our AC room the next night. As promised, we slept under the covers in our freezing cold polar bear room! Just like we like it. It took a long time 9 hours but was well worth the wait. The product Daikin 3 ton unit with furnace and other components. It is super efficient I was told and is very quiet. You can't even tell it's on! What was exceptional was the teams work ethic and always helping me understand the process, delays, and what was going on. They removed the 20 year plus unit and hauled it away. Good riddance! Rightemp is one of those contractors you dream about finding - reasonable, honest, dependable, prompt, and quality conscious. They replaced the two air conditioners in my home and did some other work for me in a very short timeframe, and when a small problem arose later they fixed it promptly - AFTER I had paid the bill. The only reason they don't have more reviews on Yelp is that they were spun out of another respected company (can't remember the name). I think the lack of reviews makes them more available right now, so I suggest using them before they get really busy! read more

If I didn't have bad luck I probably wouldn't have any luck at all. Literally, days after dealing with the restoration and repair of a major water leak, my air conditioner stopped working. The 93 degree temperature in the house immediately prompted me to call Pat at Rightemp Home Services. He had installed a new furnace for me years ago at a reasonable price (compared to some others falsely claiming all kinds of other issues). Pat came over immediately and explained everything (the unit was 25 years old....so obviously needed to be replaced). Pat had the new, more efficient, unit and his hard working team out the next day and quickly and efficiently installed the unit. Blessedly cool again. Where do I start. Firstly installation was done wrong, they cut my roof and was told they didn't and wasn't set properly that during a strong rainy day caused a major leak. I asked if someone can come look, they said the HVAC was defective missing parts a screw was missing and still installed it. They said my warranty was about to expire and that's it no means to repair or replace anything. I repaired the damage myself as it was going to rain again. Secondly my control panel was not working the summer didn't cool and right now the heater states will heat in a hour and never heats. I called and spoke with Emy and she stated oh your device is taking over. I asked if I can have someone help me or come show me how to override the system and was told by emy to look it up myself and hanged up on me. So rude and unprofessional. The system was installed with a faulty system and was not helped my warranty expires in two months I need help I called the loaner system and complained I'm probably going to get a lawyer because I've tried to call and show them that the system they installed is wrong and no one moves a finger. read more
