My wife had the pulled pork sandwich. It comes with 2 nice sauces...BBQ and nice aioli. She had the sweet potato fries as a side. Me, it was Balsamic Bleu Chicken on a French roll and regular fries. Both were very large and both were loaded with delicious filling. My Modelo was iced cold, just how I like it. Our server was terrific! But, being an old dufus, I failed to get her name. Came here with my friend since it was Monday evening after 7pm which meant they had a buy one get one free burger special running so I figured why not try a new local spot and get a free meal for my broke starving roommate. We both had the blue cheese burger I had mine with tater tots and she had hers with French fries. The tater tots were nice and crispy her fries were just ok nothing to be impressed by but also not terrible. Nice ambiance in the restaurant with this cool dome art of what looks like space. The burgers were both filling and delicious and we both are for less than $20 thanks to the Monday evening special. My only complaint is their ketchup bottles lol since they are the hard glass ones I had to shake it to make ketchup come out which then caused a mess on my plate but that was the only negative and the long wait time between our food and the order placement. read more

My husband and I were looking for a place to watch the Dodger game and get some awesome happy hour food. At Riley's we found the best of both worlds. We ordered a Chorizo pizza, brussels sprouts and pulled park sliders. The Chorizo pizza was very good and spicy. They did not skimp on the Chorizo. The brussels sprouts were sautéed and perfectly tender and the pulled pork sliders, which also came with fries, were very good. Get there early if you want a table. It does get busy. Our favorite neighborhood hang right now! Riley's never disappoints. I love the Watermelon Margarita. They have a decent beer selection. All the food is excellent! The Poke Wonton Tostadas and Ceviche are delicious and reliable appetizers. The Strawberry Goat Cheese Salad and the Steak Salad are two of my favorites. They serve very, very good pizzas and burgers. But my absolute all time favorite item on the Riley's menu is the Smash Burger. This burger is perfect in every way!!! Jalapeño Cream Cheese Burger - Fresh jalapeño, cream cheese, grilled onions, Roma tomato, green leaf and dressing. The meat was cooked medium and was nice and juicy. The Jalapeño added a little saddle heat while the cream cheese cooled everything down. It was a nice burger and would definitely get it again. With this burger I got some tots and you can never go wrong with tater tots. The tots were Crispy on the outside and soft and mushy on the inside. Tried their House Burger and Short Rib Grilled Cheese Sandwich. The House Burger came with Sharp Cheese, Bacon Jam, Pickled Onions, Arugula, Tomatoes, Dressing, and a side of fries. Burger was juicy. Enjoyed the ingredients in this burger. Fries were crunchy. The Short Rib Grilled Cheese Sandwich came with Monterey Cheese, Garlic Aioli, Pickled Onions, Arugula, Sour Dough, and Sub Tots. The Sandwich was A-OK. I didn't care much to finish it. And it wasn't very memorable for me to describe the how it tasted. My girlfriends and I went to Saturday Brunch here and absolutely loved it! The food was delicious! The bottomless mimosas were flowing. We had an amazing time! Our waitress Stephanie was so accommodating, kind, fun, sweet, professional and AMAZING! She seriously is fantastic! We also had Brittany come to our table to help us out a few times and loved her as well! Brittany and Stephanie gave us such great service we felt like celebrities! They both went out of their way to make us feel very well taken care of! We will all be back soon and will most definitely look for Stephanie and Brittany to take care of us. Came here on a Sunday for brunch with my boyfriend and my Yorkie. Unfortunately, Riley's doesn't allow you to bring your dog to the patio area. They must remain outside. Since our pup is only 4.5 pounds, we weren't comfortable leaving him on the sidewalk since there's so much foot traffic on second street. My bf ended up having to walk home to drop off the dog. I sat down first. It took a while for someone to drop off the menus and ask me if I wanted water, but the waitress apologized for the wait. Soon enough my bf arrived and we ended up ordering the breakfast scramble and the breakfast burrito I asked to add avocado and a pancake and the waitress was really nice and accommodating! They also have a great brunch menu with delicious items like a breakfast panini or eggs Benedict , and classics like pancakes and bacon. All or most of the brunch items seem to be cheaper than the regular menu items. They also have bottomless mimosas until 1PM on Sundays. The mimosas have different flavors like pink grapefruit, mango, guava, etc. I didn't try any because I'm really light weight and didn't think id drink even one glass, but it sure looked yummy!! The food arrived really quickly. My bf absolutely loved his scramble. There was meat in every bite and he ate 3 out of 4 pieces of his toast. I liked my breakfast burrito but the avocado didn't show up until the very bottom of my burrito. The chorizo was also extremely salty and I had to tone it down with some ketchup. This place would have received five stars if my burrito wasn't so darn salty , because the service is pretty great and the quality of food is swell as well. Great hole in the wall. The one word I'd use to describe Riley's is lowkey. We stopped by this small joint after attending an event at Roe's across the street and were in dire need of something greasy. Luckily, Riley had us covered - maybe not the actual Riley, but you get the picture. The first thing I'd like to note is their AH-MAZ-ING daily deals. Since we visited on a Monday the special of the day was 2-for-1 burgers. Sadly, but understandably, the offer was dine-in only and they don't allow you to take the second burger to go. Since I was the odd man out, I ordered the pulled pork sliders with fries and a side of ranch. Both their perfectly tender pork and ranch received my stamp of approval. The only reason I chose to remove a star was because both the dining room and the bathroom could use a little TLC - or maybe just a good mopping. You typically don't find pretty awesome food when you walk into a bar. After searching Riley's on Yelp and checking out some of the pictures fellow Yelpers have posted, I agreed on Riley's with my friend. First off, Riley's is right on 2nd Street...people watch from the patio if you want. There are plenty of beers on tap including the commercial beers also. The BURGERS are awesome and appetizers are also good. Make sure you wash your burger down with a nice brewski. Service was good even though I think two employees on a sunny weekend day wasn't enough. The place was packed and the two were running around a lot but still gave great customer service. Parking could be an issue so look for metered or neighbor parking. My boyfriend and I (we are both Mexican -American) were walking on 2nd street trying to find an bar that was open. We saw Riley's had alot of people still drinking, chatting so we asked if it was open. The waitress told us they were closed. Not a problem, we started heading back to the car which was parked right in front of the establishment. Not 2 minutes later we see a group of 3 caucasians walk into Riley's where they were given menus and served drinks at the bar. Literally 2 minutes after they told us they were closed! I've only recently started coming here and it's great! For such a casual place, the food is surprisingly very good. I've had the steak salad, fig&pig pizza, the chicken sandwich, wings, and more! And each time it's been delicious. The service is quick and attentive, and I honestly have not had a bad waitress serve me, they're all so nice! And Melissa is very personable and sweet (: they can get busy on the weekends for brunch and due to covid (or so I think) they weren't doing bottomless mimosas but rather champagne by the bottle, which is fine. Walked in to Riley's for the first time as it looked like a pretty popping spot on memorial weekend. It was busy on the outside and tables inside. The inside area where the bar is located only had 1 customer. My boyfriend and I sat at the bar waiting to grab a quick beer before heading on our way. Not a single person acknowledged us. We sat for a long period of time and 3 of the staff walked past us multiple times without saying a hello. The female blonde bartender with a bob haircut was fraternizing with the one guest at the bar. She saw us sitting at the bar and walked right past us a few times without an acknowledgement. She pulled out her cell phone and started showing the one other guest photos on her phone. Ignoring us completely. Mind you, she was the only bartender and there were only 3 of us sitting at the bar. My boyfriend and I got up and walked out and spent money at the bar across the street. We will not return. The service was so unacceptable. Came here right before brunch ended at 1PM on a Sunday and it was fairly empty. I got the breakfast panini for $8!! It came with some bland, dry, hard, partly burnt potatoes and I asked for some salsa to taste better. The panini was good, but it didn't blow my mind. It had scrambled eggs, pastrami (i think), green apples and cheese. The cheese was honestly what made it good because it gave a great flavor. I can't also help the fact that I'm a huge cheese lover. It was good and sufficient, but I gave it 4 stars because of the price. You can't beach a brunch for less than $10! read more

This is a straight up sports bar, but with way better food than the typical. Older local crowd & long hall style with high tables & chairs, and the bar right next to you. It can get a bit loud with the sound of the games, and the patrons sports chatter. It's mostly men, but a couple of them did have their wife's along. I came for the food...it's a smaller menu, but plenty of delicious choices & interesting drinks, like the spiked strawberry lavender lemonade. The Bavarian pretzel bites were so good, and served with two different dips. A cheesy one, and a really good sweet mustardy one. I ordered the flat iron steak topped with chimichurri sauce over asparagus and a side of fries. It was all as good as I was hoping it would be. The staff was great too...very friendly & attentive. We even had a diff waitress come over right after we were sat, just in case we hadn't been helped already...but we had. There are two unisex restrooms, but I wish they had one designated to males, and one for females, cuz especially in a bar setting with mostly men guests, the floor will need constant cleaning...and it did need it:P read more

We were here Saturday February 8th after a run on the beach trail. I felt I had to make a point to pay kudos to whoever made my bagel. Wowza!!!!! Perfectly toasted plain bagel, light layer of cream cheese, 3 thin sliced tomatoes, coupled w baby basil and a light sprinkling of some kinda salty spice (maybe Lawrys) was perfection.
