    Corn beef and cabbage

I tried the corn beef and cabbage and it was the best out of the other four places I have tried it in Long Beach. K.C. BRANAGHAN'S is my new go to place for Irish food.

Good and relaxing environment with festive atmosphere. The food was decent and fair priced. I had the patty melt and salad plate. It was average at best. On 2nd Street in an easy to get to spot. Parking is along the street and free. Sports on the multiple TVs along the walls. Will return with buddies.

Ordered a lunch delivery on GrubHub from KC Branigan's pub I chose the half of corn beef sandwich with fries? The corn beef is definitely an Irish corn beef versus a deli, corned beef. The corned beef has a much more beef flavor, and not a heavy garlic flavor, which I really enjoyed. The corn beef is very lean and has a hardy chew to it. They give you a hearty amount of beef on the sandwich. The Ryebread is delicious. The french fries are cooked extremely well and delicious taste. I would definitely order the 1/2 sandwich again .

Come visit KC's for amazing food and getting treated like family. Everything is house made and delicious. The bartenders do an amazing job. It's a great place for good service and escaping the crowds.

Good Irish pub in Long Beach...seafood dinners on Friday night were very good, the swordfish was delish!!! The ahi was very good as well but would've preferred it whole instead of sliced....the mashed potatoes and veggies were also excellent...good selection of beers and mixed drinks as well...ambiance is a traditional Irish pub, decent enough but not great...the service was okay, not great as the server was unsure of a few things on the menu....would return for the food if in area as it was definitely a surprise!! Love this place. We were in LBC for a graduation and were staying on Naples Island. We ate at this pub three times!! My husband had the french dip and said it was the best he ever had. I had the cottage pie and the parmesan chicken and both were amazing!! Beer was nice and cold. We also ate breakfast and everyone enjoyed theirs.

Cool Irish pub on second street. A very nice atmosphere and decent pub food. They have great staff that are always welcoming and nice when we arrive. It seems to be very very busy and then some days just completely empty. In any case the value for money is absolutely there. I will definitely go again when I want a nice beer and some pub food. This time we ordered the veggie burger which was great. Will definitely come back!!

My husband and I dropped off the kids at a sailing class through LB Parks and Rec. we walked from Leeway to KC Brannigans to get breakfast. Oh my word...it was an amazing decision. It has been a very long time since I have been there and I think I only drank. Why why why have I slept on this for so long? First, my husband got an Irish Coffee and I got the most unique drink: the Pancake Breakfast Shot. This was butterscotch schnapps and Jameson shooter (tastes like a pancake with syrup), a shooter of orange juice, and a piece of bacon. This was soooo fun! Next, I ordered a breakfast burrito, my husband an eggs Benedict. Breakfast burritos are kind of my thing. This was a delightful classic breakfast burrito filled with eggs and your choice of three ingredients. I chose avocado, cheese, and bangers. Wow...it was so solid. Toasted in the outside, filled with perfectly cooked eggs, and served with a side of potatoes. Again, very solid! The eggs Benedict...made me want to cry...it was so so so so so so perfectly cooked with a rich Hollandaise sauce. Even the English muffin was delicious. Usually the English muffin is a throw away, you hardly think about it. Not here. It was so fluffy and spongy. And our server was so great. She took our order, chatted with us, and made us feel very welcomed. This is a classic Irish bar: dark, solid wooden furniture, soccer matches on all the of the TVs, and locals who seemed to be loving life. My only mistake was not coming here sooner. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Stopped in here with the boyfriend since we were leaving the beach, and it seemed to be one of the few places that wasn't overrun with people on Mother's Day. In fact, it was on the quiet side in this dark wood-paneled Irish pub when we arrived around 4 PM. We were not acknowledged at all, when we came in, and stood around for a few minutes until we took matters into our own hands, and sat at a table by the window. The goal was to just grab a quick drink and a few appetizers. It took about 10 minutes for the waitress to come and take our drink orders. She came back with the drinks, set them down, and never returned. Ever. We sat there like idiots for at least 20 minutes and no one acknowledged us at all. I also noticed that the wait staff was drinking on the job. The blonde waitress who had served us was sipping out of a small glass of dark liquid. Not too appropriate to be drinking on the job, is it?? We finally got tired of being treated like Mr. and Mrs. Invisible. Finished our drinks, boyfriend got up and went over to the bar, paid the tab, and we left. I've been reading the reviews that their food is pretty good. Shame that we never got to try it.

Service was attentive, friendly and quick. Food delicious and comforting. Came on Tuesday night for King Trivia w/Sara(h?) and had a blast! Traditional Irish pub decor with local vibe and very relaxing.

My fiancé and I were looking for a place to drink and eat before a concert and were excited to see the menu for the Auld Dubliner. We came in on a Saturday night and the place was packed! The only place with seating was in the very front of the restaurant, outside. We sat outside looking at the menu, before deciding what we wanted. There wasn't a server or water walking around, so I had gone straight to the bar and talked to the bartender. He was very sweet and tried his best to hear me. Impeccable hearing, I'd say, because it was loud in there. I ordered an IPA with fish and chips. He gave me a number, which I was grateful for to ensure they'd find me outside. I sat outside with my fiancé, and we enjoyed our time people watching. Although they were extremely busy, our food came out within 10 - 15 minutes. The fish was very good; it was crispy and flaky. Their fries were okay, and just a tad bit soggy, probably due to the temperature of the fish. My IPA was cold and good. It's your typical pub and food, but great experience to those visiting. I'll probably be back again if I happen to be back for another concert.

The location is great -- right in downtown, easy to find. The space is huge, with a downstairs, an upstairs, and a full restaurant on the opposite side from the bar area where we sat. Cool setup overall. The service is where it fell apart. We walked in and told the hostess there were two of us; she just said "sit anywhere" without showing us to a table or explaining how things worked. We sat in a booth for a while -- no menus, no server, nothing. My friend was very drunk and badly needed water, so eventually I went up to the bar myself to ask how it worked. Turns out you order everything at the bar -- but nobody tells you that up front. I had to go up three separate times: once to figure out the system and get waters, once to place our food order, and again later just to get a water refill. That last refill was the most frustrating part. The bartender who'd helped us earlier saw me standing at the end of the bar and just walked away. I waited and waited, didn't want to be that person yelling over other customers, and eventually another bartender helped me out. It really wasn't busy that night either, especially for a night with a whole festival happening nearby, so there wasn't a good excuse for it. On the plus side: my hamburger was genuinely really good, and the whole meal for two came out to about $30 -- the cheapest we ate the entire trip. My friend got a tomato pesto cheese sandwich, though he was too far gone to give me a real opinion on it. Food gets a thumbs up, but the lack of any real table service and being ignored at the bar soured the whole experience. Probably won't be back unless I hear the service has improved.

Fast forward to this past weekend for the USA World Cup game. We originally were planning on attending the street party that was happening on Pine Ave in downtown for the game. But when we arrived, there was a massive line just to get in. Just from the looks of it, the line didn't seemed to move and the game was starting. That's how we ended up here. The bar is just off the promenade in downtown. Clearly, there was no way we're waiting in the line for the street party. Instead, we remembered and seen this place. They too were showing the game so we walked in. There was a good amount of people on the patio area which they also had a television. Inside was a bit more mellow but it was picking up. With this bar, we got to sit down and enjoy the game with a nice cold beer. Happy hour was going on so they were having specials on drinks. Within minutes, it was starting to get packed as everyone was doing the same thing. Instead of waiting in line and the game was starting, this place was a better option. A nice open vibe bar. Plenty of seating inside as well as the outside patio which was pretty big as well. The ladies behind the bar were amazing. Busy as they were trying to take care of everything and everyone. Drink specials did sound nice but we opted for the happy hour beer. Bar area was quite roomy with communal tables as well a private table. Bar seating was great as the television was right in-front of you. The tufted leather seats, leather high top seats give it that cigar lounge. A cool spot right in the heart of downtown Long Beach. They didn't serve food but was informed that hat someone was serving classic hot dog and burger out front. Having walked in and enjoying this place, it was worth it.
