Went last night for a fish fry during Lent. Made a reservation for 7:30, but we didn't get seated until 8pm. We ordered the chicken wontons as an app. They were delicious! It took a long time for our fish fries to come out. I got the battered and my husband had the breaded. They were large pieces of fish, but didn't taste like much. The breading overpowered the fish. It was served with fries which were good and a small amount of macaroni salad. My husband upgraded to onion petals, but they were served cold. Our waitress didn't come over again after dropping off our meals so they went uneaten. We got a packet of butter, but no bread. They did end up removing one of our beverages and gave us 15% off for the wait. We might return for a drink, but I think we're done eating here.

We decided to check out this place while we were Christmas Shopping in East Aurora. The place was clean, organized, surprisingly empty, staff was attentive and efficient, and food was decent. My wife ordered a turkey sandwich, whereas I had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. I liked the sauce used on my sandwich, though I wish it was a little more or there was some on the side, as the sandwich was a little dry. I was a huge fan of the fresh cut fries. Other than that, we both liked our meals.

    Under cooked fries

For having all of 6 tables in the restaurant I would consider the food an embarrassment. Would be in top 3 of worst services I have experienced out to eat. Waitress did not stop to check how food was at all during meal. Burger wasn't the correct burger ordered, was suppose to have onion straws and BBQ. Appetizer came out cold after 35 minutes. Children's order was cold and fries also under cooked. Service was painfully slow for not being a busy time.

My friends and I enjoy coming here, in our opinion they have the best French fries! My mom, my aunt and I came to try their fish fry's and we all said the same thing they weren't the best. Our waitress was great and we got there around one so they weren't busy which was nice.

Modernized yet still traditionally styled decor and pictures of the place throughout the years welcomed us in. Another door was a takeout that seemed pretty busy at 4pm on a Saturday. Plenty of parking in this quaint village as well as the parking lot. Warmly greeted and quickly seated with a reservation we made on Open table minutes before we each decided on the Feast with chicken parm, lasagna, and Fettuccini Alfredo. Large portions of each and the Alfredo was more like Cacio e Pepe so cheesy and flavorful. Lasagna was perfect blend or ricotta and sausage like I grew up with, and the chicken parm was tender and the batter held well seasoned flavors. The starters were the caesar salad perfect homemade dressing, and pasta fagioli a tad cool but so good I gobbled it up. Soft fluffy rolls are served with oil and seasoning to tide you over while you wait. Service was impeccable perfect time check for happiness with food, drink refills, and how we were doing as we slowed knowing to go containers would be needed. I highly recommend! Left me phone home so will post pics when I get them from my dining partner.

I ordered a Chai Latte and then a box of baked goods and a baguette. The baguette was that perfect crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. And finally the Chai Latte was just perfect. Not too sweet and no heartburn. I don't know why but sometimes that's a side effect of Chai. So not only is the food delicious but the people watching is worth the price of admission. A must try.

That's ESB, if you were to come here for a bills game, or Niagara Falls, or whatever else. This charming little bakery just hits all the right spots. The egg sammy's are down right delicious. Try the spicy aioli, not so much spice, but it pairs so well with it. Thick cut bacon and a brioche bun. C'mon now. The crème brule french toast is 2 large slabs of homemade bread, that just tastes so fresh. The line will probably be long, but that gives you time to decide on what pastry to grab in the array of treats. There's truly something for everyone, and it is all great. Also make sure to grab some of the house made sourdough, got the Italian loaf for garlic bread for dinner and it was terrific. Perfectly balanced with the light and airy inside with a crunchy undercarriage.

I went to another…read morerestaurant first, which I won't name but the wings were not good so the next day I tried Bar Bill. Let me tell you, these were some of the best wings I ever had! The restaurant itself is pretty small so it can get packed. As a girl from Michigan I do love ranch, but I was told their Bleu cheese was homemade so I used the bleu cheese and it was delish. Overall a great spot for wings, will definitely be back next time I'm in the Buffalo area. Forgot to take pics :(

I am only reviewing the Beef in Weck, a rare thin sliced roast beef sandwich on a kummelweck roll,…read morewhich has kosher salt and caraway seeds. The top half of the roll often has horseradish spread and it is dowsed with au jus or those are served on the side. The sandwich is local, originating in Buffalo but you can get them in Rochester too. The sandwich comes in three sizes, large, medium and sliders. Choosing the medium, the portion of roast beef was generous. So generous, in fact, that the roll was too small for the sandwich. It was served with au jus to the side and potato chips. The roast beef, allegedly freshly made, tasted clayish. Salt was the dominant flavor, hardly any caraway seed flavor. About half way into the sandwich, I wondered if there was any horsedsdish on the bun. Truly, it was hard to tell, but if there was, it was overwhelmed by the salt along with the caraway. Perhaps there was too much meat for the roll? Lazy caraway seeds? Not enough horseradish? Whatever, it was, at best, disappointing. Now I didn't try anything else and other diners seemed happy plus service was prompt and helpful, the setting friendly and pleasant, so I am reluctant to give two stars but that's actually a more accurate grade for the sandwich. Try the restaurant, but skip the Beef on Weck.

We ordered a small c&p pizza for our small boys, and a basket of calamari for them to share. Let's just say they're not quite ready for calamari, but the pizza they deemed to be quite delicious. My husband loves their broiled Cajun fish, fry so he ordered it again today. He got the baked sweet potato and mentioned how delicious it was. I went with the Greek Chicken Salad, a sheer delight with Greek dressing as well as tzatziki. The salad itself was built on a base of fresh mixed spring lettuces topped with pickled banana peppers, fresh grape tomatoes, sweet purple onions, sliced cucumbers. The grilled chicken cutlet was cut julienne and was strewn on top. Everything that I love in a salad. The plate was also garnished with a stack of baked flatbread triangles, which were nice and crisp! Two bartenders were waiting on the entire floor, and we noticed that they were busting their running back-and-forth. We applaud their dedication!
