They wrapped as tho we were expecting a hurricane which is fine but it was done sooooo slowly. A 5 mile drive to storage took them 25 minutes while I waited for them. They were not in a hurry @ all. I had plants to go, large pots. The supervisor complained that all of that created stress on their bodies. But it's what they sign on to do! I did well to pay for the move & couldn't include a tip . They began so professional then turned on a dime and became just furious. One said " We broke our backs for you today!" And kept saying it over and over I called RC afterward. I hope these 2 don't represent the whole of the company.

The facility was clean, organized, and well maintained, and the staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. The entire process was quick, easy, and much more pleasant than I expected. Honestly, If more recycling centers were run like Evergreen Recycling, I think a lot more people, especially those like me, who have a negative stigma about recycling centers, would choose to recycle instead of throwing recyclable materials (and cash) away. Thank you to the Evergreen Recycling team for providing such a positive experience. I wish they operated in my neck of the woods. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a clean, honest, and professionally run recycling center.

So technically you don't even have to prep items if you don't want, they helped me remove my washer and dryer hose lines with ease. They also took apart my dining table to make it easier to fit in their truck and reassembled it after the move. Mattresses and standalone cabinets were plastic wrapped by them. I had only hired 2 guys for my move, and they showed up with 3. I was told I had to now pay for all 3, otherwise the whole crew would leave and I would have to wait for a totally different crew of 2, and there was no timetable on when or if that would even happen - so I may just not have a move at all. It was already mid afternoon and I didn't have time to wait, so I just went with it and paid more than I budgeted. Ultimately the move went smoother because of having 3 people, but they still finished before the 3 hour minimum had passed. They finished in about 2hr 30m. I'm not sure how much longer 2 guys would have taken or how the cost would have compared. But ultimately this miscommunication was stressful and I felt I had no choice but to just go with it. 2. The lead of the crew was great, but his 2 guys were not as professional or careful when it came to moving fragile or less common objects. I had to babysit the movement of a few pieces or move them myself.
