They are reliable and arrived within the time specified. This was our 2nd time using Eagle Star. The first time they boxed, wrapped, and carefully removed all items and loaded everything on the truck within 2 hours in a professional and most of all caring manner. Then they took everything to the storage where they unloaded everything carefully within an hour. And just like that, they were done! We used them again. The guys were hardworking and did a great job overall. Only 2 reasons for removing a star: 1. There was a big moving day miscommunication. I had only hired 2 guys for my move, and they showed up with 3. I was told I had to now pay for all 3, otherwise the whole crew would leave and I would have to wait for a totally different crew of 2, and there was no timetable on when or if that would even happen - so I may just not have a move at all. It was already mid afternoon and I didn't have time to wait, so I just went with it and paid more than I budgeted. Ultimately the move went smoother because of having 3 people, but they still finished before the 3 hour minimum had passed. They finished in about 2hr 30m. I'm not sure how much longer 2 guys would have taken or how the cost would have compared. But ultimately this miscommunication was stressful and I felt I had no choice but to just go with it. 2. The lead of the crew was great, but his 2 guys were not as professional or careful when it came to moving fragile or less common objects. Absolute disaster of an experience with Eagle Star Moving. To start, they arrived 30 mins outside of their latest arrival window. Quickly came to find that 2 out of the 3 movers they sent had never moved before and this was their first job. They were extremely slow and spent eight hours loading up their truck at the first house when it should've been done in half the time. They went to a second location and started to argue with each other and 2 out of the 3 guys refused to move anything because of their own internal disagreements (had nothing to do with the job itself). They arrived at a third location and their arguing got so bad that they began to threaten to call the cops on each other. They spent more time arguing with each other than moving and still charged us per hour. They damaged a handful of furniture items as well as at every home in their four stops. Holes in drywall, chips in flooring, damage to paint and doorways, etc. was at every location. Robert was worthless in trying to help as he said "I should've just blocked your number and forgot about this job". Amazing job by the three movers we were assigned- Islom, Mansur, and Rustam! My partner and I boxed our own items. But the move team came prepared with boxes, shrink wrap, and dollies. They shrink wrapped our furniture for protection and were able to provide a few boxes that we lacked. Kudos to these guys who moved all our boxes and heavy furniture to our new apartment, which was located on a second floor. We scheduled the move to start at 10 am. And they arrived on time! They were able to load and unload all within 3 hours! It was somewhat of a sunny day so we handed out water, which they were very grateful for. Tip your movers! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! If I could give them negative reviews I would!! We used this to move our house and it was the worst experience of my life!! They dropped multiple pieces of furniture and damaged it. They messed around with my items and were super unprofessional. Tried on an expensive art piece to take a photo with. And then later dropped it on the floor. They charged us double and demanded a tip. Huffed and puffed when told where the items needed to go. They broke my $2200 tv and told me that they would not be giving me any compensation for it. It is completely unusable. And I need a new one. They also stole our drill and drill bit case and after I called them constantly for days it was finally returned to me after they said it was hidden under a blanket. Which it should have never left my home since they were taking apart furniture in MY home not the truck! So the intent on that is clear! They also didnt put anything back together so there was no reason for them to transport the tools for us. And when I got it back it was completely dead proving they used it while they had it. They say they are accredited by the bbb and that is not true at all! I will be filing a report with them as well because their website is falsifying this claim! They recently told us that they would be giving us a new tv but we keep getting the run around and it has been over a week now and everyday they say it will be 2 weeks. But no tracking info or info on the tv. These ppl are true scammers! We hired them thinking it was an honest company but every site they have is not accurate to who they are or the services they provide. Working with this company was a nightmare from start to finish. They had a two-hour arrival window from 7-9 but arrived late, blaming traffic--even though they weren't hours away. While they packed and wrapped fairly quickly, I tried to protect my plants, but they insisted they'd handle it and then didn't. They ended up damaging my bed's baseboards, scratching my floor, and even damaging the leaves on my monstera. During the move, I overheard the driver lying to Gregory on the phone, claiming that the distance from the truck to the elevator was one mile--when in reality, it was about 70 meters. Though it was lengthy, it was ridiculous to exaggerate like that. The travel time should have been 1.5 hours, but it took over two because they stopped for oil. Why wasn't vehicle maintenance done before the job? Drive time charges also doubled after 10 miles, making this delay even more frustrating. When they finally arrived, they approached my coordinator and asked if she had tequila--a wildly unprofessional comment, joke or not. Robert dismissed my concerns about this, but it was completely inappropriate. They gave both me and my coordinator attitude, disregarded HOA policies (which led to a fine), and spent too much time on their phones, slowing the unloading. To top it off, Robert asked for referrals and suggested I use them again. With comparable rates to other movers, I'd highly recommend choosing anyone else. Edit to add: Gregory's response to my honest review reflects how they handled the entire moving process: whenever I raised an issue, they made excuses, took no accountability, and his response to my review shows no integrity. At no point did I attempt to extort or harass them, nor did I demand money to take down my review; no amount of money could persuade me to remove it. I wrote this review fully aware of how the owner might respond but chose to do so anyway to warn future customers. Word to the wise: most of these positive reviews must be fake. We had the worst experience with these guys. They told us that they had 21 business days to deliver our stuff but that so many people are moving from SF to Texas, it wouldn't take nearly that long. I called several times asking for an update because we were going to be on the East Coast for 3 days about 3 weeks after our desired delivery date. I made it very clear that NO ONE would be at our apartment so if they could please keep that in mind when scheduling, that would be very appreciated. Nope...I got a text the day before delivery while we were in NY saying that they would be there and that we would be charged $600 for the waiting fee if we had it delivered Monday instead of Sunday. How did they not have a schedule 3 days before when I called? Oh and look at the conditions our boxes came in. Do not trust these people. read more

We booked Get-R-Done Moving for our move from the Bay Area to Seattle, and I am truly horrified at how they handled our belongings. I would not recommend this business. First of all, we booked for June 14. They told us they would arrive between noon and 3pm. Then, they said they'd be there more like 5pm or 7pm. Then they said closer to 8:30. Finally they said they couldn't be there that day at all, and would have to come the next morning. I told them they needed to be there at 9am sharp, and they agreed. 9:30 rolls around and still not there. They finally showed up around 11:30. The movers only delivered our items yesterday and so many things are broken. We are really devastated. Things broken far beyond repair include an electric scooter, a kitchen cart, and tons of our expensive closet shelving. It's not just an item broken here or there but these items are completely smashed which suggests careless handling. We haven't even finished unpacking yet so who knows what else is broken. All the boxes are smashed too with many upside down completely. I don't understand how that even happens. Additionally, they delivered a mirror that was not ours. I let the movers know, and they told me I should throw away this beautiful mirror. I asked them if the owners of the mirror wanted it and offered to mail it to them but they just said no, throw it away, because they were already on their way back to LA. I would be pretty upset if I were the owner of that mirror if the moving company wouldn't even bother to connect me to the person who had received it. Michael seemed very nice on the phone when I first booked this company, and he said he has let his claims department know about my broken items. So I really hope he makes this right. If this moving company is able to rectify the situation I will update my review. At the moment we are feeling pretty upset. We hired Get-R-Done to pack and move our 1 BR loft after being referred by another company. We received a quote based on a 1 BR apartment. Keep in mind, we didn't move our couch, rugs, media console, dresser, TV, coffee table, dining room table or chairs, bed frame, mattress, etc. There was plenty to move, but no large furniture pieces. Upon entering our place, one of the 2 movers announced that it was going to cost more. My husband ended up helping them pack and bought the movers lunch because they said they were not allowed to take breaks. A week later a mover called at 9:40pm on the Sunday night of a 3 day weekend saying they were 30 mins away and were going to deliver that night. We told them it was too late to unload that late at night with only 30 mins notice and told them to come the following morning. Once they arrived the next morning, they said it was twice the amount than what was originally quoted. They wouldn't let us unload or see any of our belongings until they received payment via Zelle. They would not accept credit cards or checks. After unloading the truck we found extensive damage to furniture, artwork, personal items and a list of missing items. Since then, we filed a claim with the company but haven't received an update of responses to inquiries. The last communication we had with them was them calling to threaten legal action if we didn't take down a negative review. Packing and moving is stressful enough, the last thing you need is to feel price gauged and have your items held for ransom at twice the price. Do yourself a favor and save your bank account and your heart ache. Take note: They like to say try and deflect with comments like: "We do have trouble finding your information in our system. It seems you are writing for a wrong business. Please give us a call at 888-927-2871 and we will be happy to resolve the issue." Rest assured, it is 100% the correct business. read more

The owner and drivers are hard to communicate with because they mainly speak Russian. Management was very dismissive and didn't search for any of the missing boxes. They held my items hostage unless I paid double the amount I was quoted when they arrived. They wouldn't even let me look through my things before they left. This has been the worst moving experience and I hope no one else has to experience what I went through with them. They were suggest by S.O.S Moving which is their sister company. DONOT USE THEM! Two years ago, I had a cross-country move, which resulted in several issues including price changes, late arrivals, and damaged properties. It was originally managed by Aknazar Moving Co and they have since been taken over by Eagle Star Moving (ESM). I was recently contacted by ESM who subsequently resolved my issues even though they were not the responsible party. I think this says a lot about them as a company as they wanted to do the right thing. If I was moving again, I would definitely give ESM a call. read more
