Good value, efficient, great service! They were responsive on my yelp moving company inquiry request, and I chose them due to flexible moving times (initial pick up time as early as 7-7:30) with reasonable rates. Even though I had to change my move start time last-minute, they accommodated the change; no problem! 4 stars because they are not as conscientious about keeping the walls and floors untouched--some other companies seem to be reviewed highly on this point. Also, they did not pay attention to labeling on some pre-packed boxes that were meant for the bedrooms (they were left in the lower floor kitchen). That said, they worked hard and did some great problem solving when my couch did not fit up the narrow stairway. With the help of my dad, they hoisted my couch up and in through the 2nd floor balcony! I'm grateful for their creativity. I would recommend them as an affordable, efficient, prompt moving company--they get the job done in a timely fashion.

LA Moving star is the best. World class. They sent me a crew of three for an all-day move. Alex Peter and Armen did such an amazing job organizing, packing, and unpacking (all in a day). I had a second floor move to a 2 floor home. They carefully packaged every item and fit it into one truck. Highly efficient in one move. The team even helped unpack and organize. Not a single item damaged. I will definitely work with LA Moving Star again. They are my go-to moving team. Thank you team!
THREE - total broken televisions ONE BROKEN PS5 ONE broken portable table ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY Here's what happens when you move with LA Moving Star, anyone can sit here and complain but I have receipts for everything. Check the pictures - and once this happens don't expect any accountability they will either cry victim or dismiss you. Literally broke two televisions on the move and poorly installed the replacement tv which fell and broke the tv my ps5 and table. Anyway I tried to handle this the normal way but I'll let the pictures talk. Move date: 11/12/2022 (incident 1) New TV install Dec 2022 Third tv break and property damage 4/2022
I moved around a week ago. I requested 2 movers. Andrew and Mike were the ones helping me move my studio apartment from DTLA to Koreatown. I really appreciate the help, efficiency, clean-job, and politeness. If I did it on my own it would've taken me a couple of days and all my things were moved in less than 4 hours, stress-free! I also liked that everything was managed through their online platform, and I was given all the details needed before, during and after the move. Thanks for the help! 100% recommended!
We moved from West Hollywood to Beverly Grove. Approximately 2 miles west with a 830am start time. 1bd 1ba. Standard household items but no sofa. Originally I received quotes from 6 different moving companies. All had great reviews and all were less expensive. I was quoted on average $95 per hour for 2 movers with a 3 hour minimum. LA Moving Star quoted me at $120 per hour for 2x movers with a 3hr minimum CASH and $140 per hour for 2x movers with a 3hr minimum credit card. Keep that in mind. Out of all the bids on my move, I chose to go with LA Moving Star because they were the underdog, the small business, the hustlers, the ones who are trying to make a good honest living. Also, I felt that if I spent a little bit more I would have better quality service. Right? Anyway, movers showed up on time and got started right away. I mentioned there were some delicate items that would need to be handled delicately. They listened to my requests and continued moving things into the truck. Everything was wrapped and tucked into the truck nicely and we were on our way. I was not briefed on timing so I had scheduled a work meeting at 1pm. I allotted 4 hours for the move. Realizing it was going to go past my original time estimate, I kindly asked the movers if we could help them to get things done quicker. My boyfriend and I ended up jumping in and assisting with loading and unloading. I pushed my meeting to 4pm to allow for more time to get the move done. As we were nearing my time to leave, I kindly let the guys know I would be able to finish assembling the bed myself since that was the last thing to do. Since I was the one who originally assembled it, I knew I would be able to handle myself later. Well, when I went to assemble it, I found all the screws were stripped! I was honestly shocked.. like how did they expect to reassemble the bed? I reached out to the company and let them know of the issue. I also pointed out that there were a few dates items and asked if there was a way we could resolve. Mind you, I was very kind and coming to them with genuine concerns. I was not combative or upset at all. I then get a long response from the team essentially blaming me for everything and also being told the damage was not done by them. They took zero accountability for anything that was done and instead deflected the issue to me. To be honest, I was a little bummed. I really wanted to keep the relationship good and work something out but it was clear they were just not even willing to hear me out. After a few emails back and forth, we were able to come to an agreement to have the guys come back and at the very least try to reassemble the bed. They came and got the job done, I'm not sure how, but they did! I'll probably never be able to move the bed again, but whatever. I really wanted to have an amazing experience with these guys and I really wanted to be able to say this was great and give them all the praise, but unfortunately my experience just wasn't great. This was my first time using a moving service and I wasn't briefed on what to expect at all. I had to ask all the questions and find out through the experience itself. Had they briefed me and let me know what to expect, I'm sure my experience would've maybe been better.

They were quick to respond and provided everything we needed. On moving day, they were right on time and got straight to work. The team was quick, efficient, and professional. Alex, Aza, and Nick arrived right on time for the move. They were super quick and careful with my belongings. They moved my 2 bedroom 2 bed condo to my new place 7 miles away in just 4 hours! They placed everything where I asked them to and were so courteous. It was very easy to schedule the move as well. I highly recommend!

I never write reviews, but this company needs to be appreciated. I've moved at least 5 times in my adult life so far, and every time (except one cross country move) I've done it myself. This was the first time I hired movers for a local move and I will never go back. Pricing: For starters I called several companies and LA Moving Star had the best rates for what they offer! (Even lower than some companies that don't even provide wardrobe boxes). This company in particular was amazing. When booking, they didn't require a credit card and no cancellation/rescheduling fees. The Move: I got a call an hour before they arrived. And a call when they got here. The two movers (Alex/Alexander and Mex) were punctual, kind, and efficient. They wrapped everything so carefully, packed the remainder of my clothes in wardrobe boxes for me, and were careful with every box. Nothing arrived broken, including my collection of vinyl records. I even packed a few boxes a bit too heavy (in my opinion) and they didn't seem to mind. Most importantly, I had a large two piece sectional leather couch that they managed to get up two flights of stairs in a tight spot. (Pictured) They also deconstructed and reconstructed my bed, as promised. (Pictured) And they made sure I liked the placement of every item before leaving. Here's to hoping every employee at this company is like Alex and Mex. I'm recommending this company to everyone I know for local LA County and Orange County moves. Thanks for making this move so easy for me guys!! Safety: This may not apply to everyone, but I didn't want to overlook this part as a single woman moving alone. At no point did I feel uncomfortable or anxious during this move. Everyone involved from booking to moving was professional, kind, and respectful. Thank you! Time: As a reference for other movers who aren't aware how long this might take with 2 movers... I underestimated how long my move will take (entirely my fault). But for a one bedroom move to another one bedroom with a large couch, two desks, a 3 piece dining set, a tv, two mirrors, a cat tree and litter furniture, two dressers, a papasan lounge chair, a Queen Bod, and maybe 15 boxes. They completed this move in about 5 hours (including the 20 minute drive between locations). Regardless, I still absolutely stand by how affordable this service was for what you receive! Thanks LA Moving Star! *p.s. always tip your movers!! They work so hard and if everything goes smooth and nothing is broken I suggest at least $10 an hour per mover.
LA moving star is amazing!! Alex and Arman are the best guys. They're friendly, strong, efficient & get the job done! They wrapped all my big furnitures to make sure everything is transported safely. They also helped me packed a few boxes. If you're lacking boxes they have them handy. I couldn't imagine how long my move would take without them. They made my moving process so much smoother & less stressful. It's worth getting amazing movers when you're moving and I would 100% recommend this company. I moved from Santa Clarita to Valley Village and hired LA Moving Star to move all of my furniture. LA Moving Star was very responsive in scheduling and their rates are very competitive.
