We ordered oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and a skillet. The restaurant is small but very busy and has constant customers. The service is good. The kitchen looked clean and well-managed. The biscuits and gravy was very salty. The skillet was decent. The oatmeal was good. Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning and was not disappointed. Service was excellent ! We waited a few minutes to be seated and our server noticed we were not locals, probably because most of the customers seemed to know one another!! She asked us if we wanted breakfast suggestions and shared her recommendations. I had the short stack pumpkin pancakes with a side of hashbrowns. The short stack was two large fluffy pancakes served with icing on the side. The pumpkin spice seasoning was the perfect amount . The hashbrowns were shredded potatoes, fried and crispy. My husband had the steak skillet with a side of French toast. The skillet was topped with four over easy eggs. They offer drinks to go!! Our server recommended lunch options, for our next visit. I stopped and this charming little spot on my recent trip to Chicago and was told this local spot was a fav. The service was AMAZING and the food and prices were a big surprise (coming from LA). I had many cups of coffee and loved the staff, Misti was so kind and she gave me suggestions on where to visit for dinner and a comedy show. Update: Gave them a while and tried this place again. Oh well. Got the eggs benedict. Menu states that it is a classic benedict with Canadian bacon. The Canadian bacon looked like it was sliced. I realized why when I tried it. It was about 4 thin slices of honey ham. The hash browns were mushy and gross. My husband had the breakfast burrito that he said was okay. We each brought home half of our meals since it wasn't the greatest. Our son ate both. I wanted to see if I was being over critical. I asked him what he thought. He said the burrito was okay and the benedict was weird. He said the Canadian bacon tasted weird and sweet. Told him it was honey ham. All he said was...why would they do that? If you have a menu item that doesn't sell enough to purchase the correct ingredients, take it off your menu. Service was fine and upped the rating for them. Excellent local breakfast place! Visited Rise N Dine with a group of six and we enjoyed our visit. The service staff were kind and provide prompt service. The coffee is very good. All their hash browns and home fries are made fresh and can be ordered extra crispy. I ordered a breakfast croissant and it was perfect. Great looking weekly and seasonal specials. I will have to return to try the pumpkin pancakes! If you are visiting on the weekend arrive early, or you will have to wait in line. Highly recommend. read more

We were in town on a Sunday late morning to go to Ream meat market, so we tried Rose n dine while we waited for teams to open at 10 It's a cute little diner, with limited seating We waited 10-15 for a table 2 waitresses were way too busy, seating people, clearing tables, taking orders, refilling cofee,, answering phone order,bringing out the food & working the register. Our waitress seemed to be doing most of the work , so we didn't see her much (not her fault, just way too busy. Whoever the owner is, you need a hostess & bus boy on weekends. 2 waitresses can't seat people, clear tables, take phone orders & ring up people. Had the Beef Pita Melt today and the Turkey BLT. Trying to cut down on carbs, so my wife asked for the sandwich to be made as a wrap and substituted a salad for the fries. Misti took our order and said the substitutions were no problem at all. The pita melt was outstanding. The cheese was ridiculously good. Not sure what it is but need to get some for home. The Turkey BLT had nice crispy bacon, fresh tomatoes and lettuce and thick cut pieces of turkey breast. We eat here at least weekly and have never had a bad meal. Service is great too. Just went here for the first time last week. I love that it's close and original and I live the menu. Everything was warm (yeah, it took a classic 20 plus minutes to cook) which is great because what we got was amazing fresh a food exactly how we ordered. Wanted to give this new restaurant a try today around 10:30 am. Hoping that there was a new decent restaurant in town. It was busy as expected, but to even put your name in was horrible. Then watching the staff interact with customers was horrible. People had to get up to get their own waters. Others had to flag the crabby lady down to order. Lady behind counter doing nothing, bus boy standing there doing nothing and the crabby one trying to do it all and not ask for them to help. Prices on the high side compared to previous restaurant. Hopefully they can fig it out and we'll give it one more try. read more
