Listen...just order it. I don't want to spend time writing a lengthy review to make a simple point: this is pretty great pizza. You and your stomach will be happy doing it. Do it for your tummy

I love to eat food from local places, especially home kitchens that have the potential to open their own restaurants. If you are a pizza fan, you have to try Risen. The bread they use in their pizza is sourdough, making each bite feel light. My husband and I ordered their Hot Honey and Chicken Pesto. Each pizza had the perfect balance of toppings to sauce ratio. Before we knew it, we had already finished both boxes! It's rare for us to eat pizza these days, but because of Risen, we are bound to make it a weekly habit.

Delicious pizzas from this microenterprise home kitchen operation. Dough is pillowy with a wonderful chew; flavorful sauce and toppings and doesn't feel too heavy. Reasonable-priced and quality fare from this local business.

Fresh and tasty. Perfect amount of tang for me from the sourdough but my husband wanted more funk. Reasonably priced for the size given. Pizzas were ready at the time specified when I ordered, very timely. Would get again when I'm in the mood for Neapolitan!

Ordered the BBQ chicken pizza today-- it was soooooo good. The crust is amazing- sourdough and light and chewy. The toppings combo was good- fresh mozzarella, pickled red onions, bbq sauce and chicken. It was a nice size too, and I probably could have eaten the entire thing myself (but I shared with my fam haha). Small business run out of their house-- ordering and pick up was easy. Will def be back to try some of their other pizzas!

Risen Pizza is our favorite! The location is super convenient, and the quality of the food truly stands out. You can taste the difference with their homemade sourdough crust--it's fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. As a busy mom I love that I can order online and it was ready just in time for dinner! We tried the BBQ chicken and margherita pizzas, and both were incredible. The flavors were spot on, and everything tasted so thoughtfully made. Even our kids couldn't get enough, which says a lot! We'll definitely be coming back soon. Can't wait to try more from their menu next time!

We tried risen last night and was very impressed. Two pizzas easily filled my wife and I so it's an excellent value. The pizza crust was great. There is some crunch but also the right amount of chewy. The ingredients tasted very fresh. For those with little kids our 2 year old loved it as well. I would highly recommend trying it out if you're in the area.

I always judge a new pizza spot by the classics, and Risen nailed it. The sourdough crust was perfectly fluffy, the tomato-to-cheese ratio was spot on, and pickup was quick and easy. Not to mention the price point makes it dangerously easy to keep coming back for more...Definitely ordering from here again for the next picnic! The owners came out to thank us too! So kind!!

Risen pizzas are delicious! Their pizzas are classic Neapolitan style, but they have a great sourdough crust that's thin, light, and has just the right amount of chew. I especially like that they use high-quality ingredients and keep things simple. I'm a big fan of the Margherita for its simplicity, and the hot honey pizza is a great option if you want something with a little more kick. Definitely worth checking out.

We've had the sourdough pizzas from Risen a handful of times now, and it never disappoints! The pizzas are limited batch sourdough, and I normally don't like the crust, but I LOVED every part of these pizzas! The texture of the dough is amazing and the balance between dough and toppings is perfection. We've had all of the options and love them all - hard to pick just 1 favorite! The family making the pizza is the sweetest and you can tell that each pizza is made with so much love. They make pick up so easy and a pleasant experience!

Marg pizza for the kids! They absolutely loved it

Listen- I'm not someone who really writes reviews, but I came to dust off my yelp account to write one cause it's THAT good!! You can taste high quality ingredients, crust perfectly chewy, sooo many tasty toppings (we tried pesto, marg, BBQ chicken- pesto was my fave!) Not greasy, I actually felt good about feeding the pies to my little ones. Will definitely be back for more!

So Risen is not my preferred type of slice. My preferred type of slice costs a couple bucks in NYC and requires 2-3 napkins to dab off the oil that would take 2-3 years off your life expectancy if you left it on. (Just so you know, I leave it on.) I'm a regular at Slice & Pint, Prime, Prince, Bonello's, etc. My YouTube feed is full of Dave Portnoy pizza reviews. Up until recently I would've never picked the Risen type of slice if given the choice. Light, artisanal, balanced flavors, fresh toppings, etc. etc. That's the kind of stuff my wife loves. No, give me the heavy, way too big, burn-the-roof-of-your-mouth stuff. But maybe it's getting old or kids or wisdom (probably not that last one) but I'm finding there's a limit to how many of those slices I can enjoy in one sitting. And the price I pay afterward seems to get bigger and bigger. Which all had me feeling pretty sorry for myself for a while because I figured that meant no more pizza, or at least no more tasty pizza. Then I tried Risen. And then we had it again, and then a couple more times. Because it still hits the spot (especially the hot honey) but doesn't leave me feeling like someone dropped a brick in my stomach. I can eat as much of it as I want (which is a lot) without getting nervous about my next doctor visit. I still prefer the greasy, cheese dripping off slice. But outside of that, there's only one other place I'll go. So if you're a recovering degenerate pizza lover like myself whose lifestyle is catching up with you, I'd definitely give Risen a shot. Someone tell Portnoy.

You can really taste the love through their pizza. A lot of thought and intention went into the dough which you can taste after the first bite! The crust was soft and doughy and I loved how you can taste the oven through the crust, only artisanal pizzas have that quality. It was really easy to order on their website and it was delivered on time!

I imagine we eat here at least once every 6 weeks, sometimes that is dine-in, sometimes take-out. Ingredients are fresh, pizza is delicious. Chris and the rest of the staff are always polite and on top of it. We recommend: - Thyme & Roasted Mushroom Pizza, add the Fennel Sausage - Eggplant Rollatini - Mediterranean Salad Locale 90 is consistently excellent. Apologies for taking this long to write a review, keep up the good work!

Whoa. WHOA…read more This place serves up some sick pizza. There certainly is a reason it has been around for several years....but you wouldn't have known it on this Tuesday afternoon because we were the only ones in the joint, drinking a couple of draft beers and waiting for my birthday dinner pizzas to be cooked up in 5 minutes... Heated up the pies at home, holy smokes... I am a pizza snob and man, oh, man...Locale90...the crust chew and flavor, holy holy holy moly...that may be the best part of this pizza. But the toppings were awesome too. We ordered the white (hot...lol) potato pizza...fantastic flavor of herbed potatoes...replaced the pancetta with pepperoni per the waitress' recommendation...so good. Also ordered the Margarita and the Spicy Salame. Both also fantastic and while the toppings were great, I kept coming back to that amazing crust. Gosh darn! So good! Pizzas were $19-$22 and more than enough (3 pies) for a family of four. The waitress was great and friendly. My only gripe is that they advertised $6 draft beers on the sandwich board outside but apparently that was a "Summer Special" and no longer valid so our beers were $9 & $10. Ya really should honor an advertised special. And it was my birthday! Still, I highly recommend Locale90 for amazing pizza!

I called to place an order for a gathering I was having at the beach and gave them the address to deliver it to and verified that they would be able to deliver to said address and I asked that they deliver it about an hour and a half after I made the call. 15 minutes before delivery I get a phone call confirming the delivery address. After maybe trying to tell them the correct address no less than 10 times, they tell me that the address is actually NOT in their delivery area. I specifically asked when placing the order and they said they could. Turns out the girl taking the order may have written the address incorrectly. I asked where they are able to deliver it to and had they called me even 10 minutes prior, I would have been able to have them deliver to my home which was within their delivery area. Since it was for a planned gathering, I asked if I could perhaps pay a little extra to have them deliver because with 15 minutes before they were due to be delivered, I wouldn't have enough time to place an order somewhere else. It would have literally been an extra 5-7 minute drive and considering it was due to their error, it would have been nice if they would have delivered as promised. The girl on the phone tells me they're too busy and that they can't drive the extra 5-7 minutes even with compensation for their time. She's also rude and tells me that they're super busy and she has people lining up in store and pretty much doesn't offer any sort of solution to fix their mistake. I suppose this is what happens when a business doesn't even have online ordering or any information about said delivery range info available on their website. Any of the other pizza places we usually frequent have information on delivery range etc. I wouldn't recommend getting delivery from this place, their service is not reliable and they seem really disorganized. Had to get multiple calls to confirm address as well.

The truffle flavor was rich without being overpowering, and the mushrooms were fresh and perfectly cooked. Then came the Nutella calzone, and that alone is worth the visit. Warm, perfectly baked dough with Nutella inside that melts just right.
