A month after they came out, one of my A/C units stopped working and I was forced to hire another company to diagnose the problem. Rising Sun Air exceeded our expectations. They came out in such a timely manner that was earlier than expected. Much needed especially in this Arizona heat. Kevin, Tim, and Dillion did a great job with our A/C. It turns out our old unit was damaged and giving out on us. As replacement was the only option, Kevin was able to talk down his boss for a reasonable price for us. It only took a few days for them to install the new unit, but they fixed our old AC unit enough so we stayed cool until the new unit was brought in to replace. The new unit works great and it comes with an up to date thermostat that is touch screen and can be controlled through the app. I highly recommend this place and appreciate the work they do! read more

My wife and I are first time homeowners and this was our first time buying an A/C unit. Had to do a lot of research to know what was good and bad and to understand some of the terminology. We had probably 6-7 quotes done before we decided. I knew I wanted to get it done before summer since our Carrier system was almost 20 years old...Wasn't going to let our system run through another summer. Like telling grandpa to run a triathlon. Pam was friendly and reliable to count on, to get any questions answered and to get us on the schedule. Kevin was knowledgeable and fair with his quote when he came by to take a look at our system. Haven't really had the need to test out the system since it's still nice but so far I'm pretty happy with our system and can feel more relaxed about having a new system in place for summer. I am happy about the 10 year parts/compressor warranty and 1 year service included. The two installers worked hard and got it installed and running in about 4 hours. I had attempted to install an ecobee3lite thermostat and had difficulty and was stuck. We had previously had Rising Sun air, out for an unrelated problem so I called them for help. Pam in the office said she thought a technician was currently in Scottsdale and asked if she should contact him, I told her that would be appreciated. As it turned out the technician could be at my house within the hour (my lucky day) to help me out. As it turned out he determined that my air conditioner was incompatible with the ecobee3lite themastat, so he reinstalled my original thermostat for a modest service fee. I'm totally happy with their service and personal and will highly recommend them to family and friends. The communication with the office and the field technician could not have been better or clearer. We scheduled with Rising Sun Air for an A/C maintenance that had been put off since buying our house. They had the best maintenance price with availability that we could find with good reviews. During the appointment we were told our A/C unit looked great for how old it is. A part needed replaced it was also in need of a cleaning. They had the ability to do everything on the day of our appointment, which was great! Everything went great while the tech was here. A few hours after the tech had felt our thermostat stopped working and we realized the batteries in it were corroded. Due to this, we were unable to control our unit. Even though this had nothing to do with the maintenance, it just so happened to act up on the day of the maintenance, Rising Sun Air helped us tremendously. It happened on Friday after they closed and on Saturday there was no availability for a tech to come out. This company went beyond what they had to during this time. Even though the owner was on vacation, he called multiple times. He did his best to help us with information to try and get our unit working as well as suggestions on a new thermostat that they recommend over the one we were going to get that was more expensive and can cause issues. They were able to send a tech out first thing Monday morning. He installed the new thermostat for us and made sure our unit worked properly again. During this week our unit has worked without any issues. We are happy to continue to use this company for all future maintenance with our unit. read more

Side note: I had my air checked in July by a company (see my reviews) referred to me by American Home Shield, they neglected to secure my panel and due to monsoons my unit was destroyed ... beyond repair. I contacted them to voice my concerns and they couldn't have cared less. ........ Kevin came out right on time, did a diagnoses, tried his best to get it up and running but due to exposer to the environment my compressor burnt out along with several other issues. After seeing the pictures I was devastated. The previous company basically set me up, so they could come back and install a new one. smh... But Kevin was also concerned about us in the heat and came back with an amazing option to get me up and running by Monday. This happened on Saturday btw. Adrian the owner and Kevin showed up today 1hour earlier than scheduled, secured a payment that only an angel could do to help in this type of situation. Come to find out his middle name is Angel! From the first time speaking to him and his wife they have been nothing but kind, comforting and accommodating.
