    Seafood Risotto

The place has a sketchy entrance since you have to go through a hallway and you aren't greeted by anyone. I had to go all way to the kitchen to get my order, but the food overall was good! For the price, it was big portions with lots of flavor into it! My favorite was the carbonara and tiramisu!

I have ordered a few times through Doordash especially when they have deals!! It is worth the price, the amount of pasta they provide, and includes bread!!! I feel like nowadays anything extra is an additional cost. They even include a mint with utensils and any additional garnishes like cheese. If you're looking for take out / to go and craving Italian this is the place to choose!!

Chicken parmigiana that was inedible. Was so tough could not cut through it. Tasted like rubber chicken.

Worst chicken parmigiana I've ever had. It was inedible. Tasted like rubber chicken parmigiana.

Bland ... bland ... why? You were dancing in sooo much flavor over 6 months ago, what happened? And the seafood - over cooked

Something has changed here. Not for the better. I first tried this place with my partner since we wanted some good food late at night about 6+ months ago. We found this gem, and LOVED LOVED LOVED the seafood risotto. It was probably the best we ever had here in the states - what really made it stand out was all the TLC that the chef put into the broth, and all the seafood was cooked perfectly. This time, I don't know. Did management/ownership change? Did the cook leave? Did the recipe change? I'm not sure what happened, but this seafood risotto in my photo was not the same risotto I ate 6+ months ago. I'd like to know what happened - you went from a delicious, well seasoned broth that had so much seafood aroma built into the broth, to a broth that just barely scratched the surface in flavor. What happened? I couldn't justify why the ratings dropped after my partner pointed it out to me recently, but now I'm starting to understand why. And I'm heartbroken (as an Italian food lover). This isn't goodbye, it's just a break for now. I want to see Risotto's from back in early-mid 2021, not liking 2022 Risotto's right now. Oh boy - already had to edit this review the same night. As I finished the meal (by finish, I mean 40% of the way through it), I smelled and tasted old clams ... and after eating a few thinking maybe it was just me, I started to gag realizing they were not fresh. Please, I think the people need some answers. I need answers. This risotto just didn't check the boxes. Now I'll be by the toilet tonight in case my body rejects the seafood.

Good packing but no name ??

The owners are very nice and they are quite lovely. The pork ribs were fall off the bone and their fish sauce went perfectly well with the ribs and rice. The chicken curry noodle soup had a really good flavor and it was very comforting and you can definitely taste the love in the soup. The cookie reminds me of like a Vietnamese version of a granola bar and it was simple yet pleasant. I also like the pate chaud but I wished it was a little bit more warmer and crispy but overall I cannot wait to come back and try their other dishes. Lots of seating available around the park near the food truck as well.

I won't forget how there were tasty options around every corner in Tokyo. Ever since I went to Japan last year, I crave delicious yakitori from a charcoal grill in the Bay Area and always seek out new places to try. I finally tried Okibiyaki-Kikuchi as a yakitori pop-up at ShaKa brewing after eyeing it for a long time. The grilled meat skewers were so delicious and enjoyable to eat with a cold beer flight from ShaKa brewing. The chef is a master of yakitori. I tried hatsu, kalbi, shishito, kimo, and bara tama. I can describe a perfect night like this. A perfect night included skewers from the live ember grill by the master chef and a beer flight. The flavors are legit-- the process of preparing the meat is impressive, and the technique with the charcoal grill brings out the best flavors. The Bay Area is treated to authentic flavors like in Japan. It is recommended that should arrive to the pop-up early as they ran out of the chicken skewers. I will absolutely order the chicken skin and thigh again and again. I also tried his pop up at Clandestine Brewery as well. The quality is so consistent and delicious. I like the vibe of eating like in a picnic style outdoors with a cold glass of beer. Nothing beats that for me. Follow @okibiyaki_kikuchi on IG to see where he pops up next.

The seating area offers plenty of chairs and tables with shade or without. It was February and a bit chilly and windy. In short time our food was ready. We had the pleasure of smelling it all the way home to Placerville. The ribs were big, meaty, soft and tender. There was a delicious spice and flavor that you really didn't need the bbq sauce (provided) on it at all. My husband and I ate our first couple without the sauce and then he ate a few more with the sauce. These ribs were delicious! We paid $30 for a full rack of ribs and $16 for the Turkey leg. We know where to go when craving ribs. Nicely done here.

Unfortunately, my second visit was a major disappointment and a waste of over $150. While the portions are generous, the quality just wasn't there this time. The smoked turkey leg tasted boiled and lacked flavor, the ribs were incredibly dry, and though the brisket was tender, it had no seasoning. I drove 35 minutes on a Friday hoping for another great meal, but the inconsistency was frustrating. I hope they can get back to their original quality.

Then you got inside and immediately waited in one line to get your tickets and another to select your table...then as soon as you got in you waited in ANOTHER long line to order a drink. Definitely poor planning on part of the event organizers. That said...the event itself was AMAZING! The decor, the staff, the food was phenomenal. Everything on the menu was themed based on the show and the portions were huge, we left very full. The entertainment was fun. For anyone who is a huge Game of Thrones fan, this was an event to remember. We dressed in theme and had a blast taking pictures with the props. It seems the event organizers have some kinks to work out with the venue but I would definitely attend another themed event by them.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!…read more Here's the breakdown: ENTRANCE: lined up early to get the tables we wanted. Doors opened about an hour late. Many arrived there after work and didn't eat hoping to scarf down some good food, they were very disappointed. ALCOHOL: decent, pricey, comes with some memorabilia you can take home. If you ordered the pairing, you may or may not have the pairing in time with your meal. Cocktail hour was more than an hour, doors were still closed to the banquet room. Still starving. If you're not a drinker then you'll find yourself waiting/standing somewhere just people watching. FOOD: After over 2 hours you finally get a small appetizer. The butter on the table was apparently decoration for bread that will be served way later and cold. The food comes in slowly and cold. You can tell it was sitting out long. By the way, you share the small servings with other starving attendants who'll hopefully leave some good stuff on the platter for you. "SHOW": there was no show. There were people dressed up as characters, they recited random lines from the show and sometimes poorly. One "scene" did not connect with the previous one. It was literally "actors" saying 2-3 lines then getting off stage. They make for good pictures later though. SERVICE: order every drink you'll ever want at the beginning because it will take you that long to get your drink. Ask to pay the bill before everyone else does because it actually took an over an HOUR (no joke) to get the bill and pay it after we've eaten and asked for the bill. It was a 3-4 course meal and it took forever to get our food...FOREVER. I'm pregnant and had a headache because i was so hungry. I survived off preggy pops and water. DECORATIONS: like a high school Halloween party. Staff dressed up looked good though. OVERALL: good concept, poor execution. I enjoyed going with my family and having a shared experience of something we all enjoyed but we could've thrown a party of our own at home. Would not go again. 2 stars

The food came out really quick, since it was just us there at the time. The shaken beef on the fries were very tender and just melts in your mouth! My bf gave me some of the crispy chicken skin from his bowl and it was so good; you can hear the crunch when I bit into it! My short rib/bone marrow fried rice was amazing as usual and very filling.
