On a hot 100 degree plus summer day, it was soooo hot, we hit up Rite Aid for some Thrifty ice cream. Everyone knows how great the ice cream is and how genius their scoopers are. 5 stars baby. End of story? Nope. Not only that, we went over to this section where they were selling lawn chairs. Shamelessly, we unstacked a couple lawn chairs and just chilled there for a half hour Al Bundy style. The whole time, nobody gave us any trouble or words. For that great service, I give you 5 stars Rite Aid of Glendale! As for Rite Aids that don't sell ice cream by the scoop, take a hike down to 1 star. read more

I have been going here for years. The new staff is not helpful and seems flustered all of the time. The customer service has declined over the years. I still like the convenience of the pharmacy and feel like they try their best to get you what you need. read more

This is the worst pharmacy consistently. Once again there is a problem. Leaving the ER at 2am to get prescription filled and the pharmacist tells me it won't be filled because he is going on lunch and I have to wait til 3am to have it started. The manager told me, after he was summoned to talk to a very frustrated customer, that he goes to CVS and recommended that I leave and go to their nearest store to handle my request. What kind of service is that?! They don't have medications or the service is disrespectful and unprofessional or both consistently over the years, and now I'm told to wait when there is nobody around, is the icing on the cake. Please go to another store, this one has a manager that will tell you who can actually handle your needs 24hrs, even though I'm standing in a 24 hr pharmacy. Priceless read more

This is the worst Rite Aid Pharmacy I've ever experienced. There slow, rude, and disorganized, all qualities that make you feel uncomfortable as a customer. I really hope management reads this so they can give this place a serious overhaul (doubt it) overall I'm done dropping off my meds here. read more

The store was clean and organized. The staff was friendly. Because it's in Glendale they don't give you plastic bags you have to pay for them. I guess that is good because it helps to save the planet. It was an average day at Rite Aid. read more

The Pharmacist called yesterday me order was ready. I decide to pick it up this morning. I had to wait 15 mins., which sucked. When I was heading out, my bag beeped. The Pharmacist forgot to debug my bag. I think they are a little bite on the dizzy side. Which is kind of sad. This drugstore is racist. I was waiting in line where the cashier CLEARLY saw me waiting in line. When it's my turn to go up to the register he gives me a funny look and tells me that the line starts in another direction. Youre kidding me right? After seeing me stand there for several minutes as you horsed around with other customers then all of the sudden I'm in the wrong place to be waiting in line. The wait for the prescription is horrible. I guess I should of made a scene like the guy after me to get faster service. We wait for 30 minutes. I got up and asked if my medication was ready. Then they told me 20 more minutes. Not a happy customer since I have a fever of 105.1. I could of gone home if they would have told me from the beginning it was going to take this long. read more

I've been coming to this same location for years now with no problem. The store recently has been remodeled and is very clean. Everything went perfect during shopping until I went to get me some ice cream. The lady was being rude/grumpy as soon as she showed up. Our conversation was short and bitter. It seemed as if I asked her to do to much when she was called over to serve some ice cream. Once I received my cone I told her I would pay at the cashier with the rest of my stuff and she walked away and said "do whatever". Well wow, thank you. read more

This is a convenient 24 hour place to shop for necessary medical and regular stuff. The pharmacy is open 24 hours and you can pickup your medication anytime. The night staff are very friendly and helpful. Sami and Paul and Fellice Sanders are the heart of the pharmacy and without them the pharmacy will not function properly. Overall, this is a great store have in Glendale, ca. A jewel among useful stores. read more

BIG WARNING ON THIS PHARMACY Count your medication before you leave the pharmacy counter. Second time shorted (this time 10 out of 30 ambien). Have talked to others who have had the same experience. The reply from the extremely self important pharmacy manager is always the same....we count our pills twice. The amount on the bottle is correct. There is nothing we can do. Then he gave me a fake number of a supposed supervisor. I have called Rite Aid customer service, just been put on hold. Forever. They are committing very serious offenses and no one is accountable. read more

I went into rite Aid to get several prescriptions filled, all were current and all had refills on them, I was told one did not have any refills left, I went home and got the label off of the old one, it still had three refills left, there was a new pharmacist and she pop it right through. I too have tried any number of times to find a specific time when the line was short, no luck. today I tried to call, I got "The Voice" and pushed three rang and rang and rang and rang. Then "The voice" came back I Pushed three got no answer again. I called again at 2:00pm and got no answer at all not even from "The Voice" then I got a busy signal. I waited until 7 and called again, Lot of ringing no answer then the phone was picked up and hung up....I Liked the Rite Aid at Americana, and now due to rotten customer service at the Glendale Ave store I will be checking out CVS or Target. read more

It was my 1st time going to this place! I usually go to CVS or Walgreens every time you enter any of those pharmacy a at any of their locations it stinks! I was really surprised that this Rid Aid was supper clean like a 5 star luxury store and the employees were very friendly too! I wish we had such supper clean and supper friendly knowledgeable pharmacy near my place! I really loved it! Awesome job guys! I'm really disappointed in this store and that this company lets employees like this continue to work in their stores. I came to pick up my order at the end of the night after work since I had received an email telling me my order was ready. When I got to the location, they said my order didn't process and was not ready. The guy working was even rude about it like it was my fault "it's not ready then, you'll have to come back tomorrow!" I'm usually not one to complain, but I too work a customer service job all day and the last thing I need after being polite to customers all day is to get this kind of treatment when I am the customer myself. I will not be ordering pictures from your company ever again after this poor customer service. In fact, I'm pretty sure I won't go to this location ever again unless I am desperate. I didn't catch the rude employee's name after I had waited a while standing line, waiting for my order, then being told it wasn't even there. But if you want to know who to fire or reprimand then ask the girl who helped me on 12/19/14 tonight at 11:15pm who the rude male employee was working that night. I'm sure she remembers because I stormed out pissed about the situation. And if she can't remember because this happens often, then maybe this whole staff needs an evaluation. Usually buys beer here coz they usually they have a better price. Noticed that they have a 30 packs of Miller Lite for $11.99 only. So I was surprised and asked JOSE the supervisor or manager on duty if that is correct. He said and insisted that it's supposed to be $16.99. i asked him so the price tag was not correct and have to take it out and put the correct sale price... He started raising his voice and kept saying a lot of out of this world answers. It is so clear and I even took a picture of the advertised price but he just kept raising his voice. I think he doesn't deserves to work there and He needs proper customers service training. I don't want to argue with him for $5.00 but just wants to hear that he is sorry that the tag was not correct. I will not go back to this store anymore. This pharmacy is not dedicated to serving customers well at all. I dropped off the same prescription that I fill with them every month, and they told me when it was supposed to arrive. A few days after their estimated date, I called to find out the situation and they told me I could come pick it up. When I arrived, they decided that they would not let me have it until they contacted the doctor to make sure it was legitimate (same prescription, same doctor as every other month). They are supposed to do this before filling the orescription and telling the customer that it is ready. By this time, the doctor's office was closed and there was no way to get ahold of her until the next day. I told the pharmacist that I had to get on a plane the next morning and be out of town for the next 10 days, but he still refused to let me pay for my prescrption. Due to nothing but their incompetence and carelessness, I had to get on a plane the next morning without it. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. I have had 2 bad experiences in less than a week. My mom had a surgery 2 weeks ago and after she was released from hospital I had to come here to get her pain medicine. First time I came here around 11PM thinking it will be fast and I can go back home and take care of my mom. When I gave them the prescription I was told it will take them 2 hours to have my order ready even tho there was only one person ahead of me. I waited an hour then I was notified that they are out of that medicine and I have to go to a different pharmacy to get it. REALLY??? Couldn't you check it when I gave you the prescription and save me an hour!!!! Second time I came back few days later around 12:30 AM and I was told it will take them 15 min but took them more than an hour and thirty minute to give me my medicine. If you can just avoid going here specially at night. Their service is the worst and slow as hell. read more

My first "yelp" review, and I feel I must post. Sorry to say I haven't tried the ice cream that yelpers are raving about, but it wouldn't have to be too good to beat the service in the pharmacy. What a joke! WAIT is the biggest name of their game. Whether you are in the store trying to pick up a Rx that has been dropped off forever before. Or when you're waiting for them to contact your physician. Or when you're waiting for them to actually get your medication in the store. Wow. This is seriously the worst pharmacy ever! STAY AWAY! It's unbelievable how incompetent everyone on the pharmacy staff is - especially Rena Dong. This pharmacy has screwed up my medications numerous times, I have yet to go in there once and actually have my medicine ready. There's always a problem, despite having gone through their system and put my medication in. Tonight, after getting some devastating news about a death which required immediate travel, I go into the pharmacy to pick up my medicine which I ordered a few days back. It wasn't there. They couldn't refill because apparently didn't have refills, even though I have a receipt confirming that it went through on their system. After speaking to Rena Dong, she proceeded to blame me for not coming in sooner because I was traveling! Seriously, it was astounding to have a pharmacists be so incredibly rude and just generally horrible, especially considering the circumstances. Never again! read more

First I would have people stop and think before you come to the pharmacy the pharmacist Felicia was excusatory saying I take to many pills and would not get off of that . I told her I am suppose to take 2 pills every 6 hours and I don't I take 2 pills every 12 hours she insisted over and over again . she even went as far as writing a note on my prescription papers saying I could never get that medicine there with out seeing pain management doctor . I spoke to my doctor and she called them to let them know I am taking the right does . plus to top it off I had to go there because I left the hospital at midnight no place close enough so I take my prescription a day she says no, no ,no I don't have these until Thursday . Great that this location is open 24hrs. It is a clean and updated store. They have most target products, but they are double the price.

I agree with everyone else, there is a ong wait at this pharmacy. The people are nice but quite overwhelmed.

So my daughter had a prescription and we forgot her insurance card so not only they couldn't bring up her information on their system and made us wait 45 minutes but they gave me somebody else's prescription and then I was almost home when their not so smart pharmacist called me and asked me to drive another thirty minutes and take this other persons prescription back since she really needed it!!!! I mean talk about horrible service!! So I went back with my daughters insurance card to get reimbursed for the cash that I paid and they refused to give me my money back they said it was too late and their system cannot go back that many days!!! Disgusting is the word that comes in mind when I think about this highway robber of a store called Riteaide and their half a&@ English speaking staff and employees!!! So if you want to get robbed and get a wrong prescription then go there but i am never going back there!!!
