This place sucks! Rude staff, and prescriptions take days to fill. I'm not kidding - 2 days to fill a basic prescription. I will never use this pharmacy again. Want an awesome pharmacy? Go to Michael's in Sherman Oaks. Worth the drive. Everyone is so nice, and rx filled in 10 minutes. Much better than Rite Aid. This Rite Aid is awful, and so is the one on Topanga & Ventura. If I could give this Rite Aid less than 1 star, I would. I agree with another post that the people at the front counter are far from friendly. I have before asked this lady to not slide my drivers license through the damn credit card machine. What happens? She does it again. You look at ID's all day and you can't figure out a real from a fake. Not to mention, admittedly when the ID gets slid, the government is tracking what you buy. She didn't even apologize when I brought up the fact she didn't ask me before she did it because I would have gone somewhere else. Basically they stole 10 bucks from me. I purchased $48.68 in goods and paid with a $100.00 bill. My change should have been $51.32. When the cashier handed me my change he gave me $41.32 but counted out to me $51.32. Most of the people would have just put the change in there pocket and left. I stood at the counter as the cashier moved over to anouther cash register and took the next customer. I questioned the cashier and said the change was incorrect and he came back over. I told him the change should have been $51.32. The cashier mumbled something under his breath, punched some numbers on the other cash register and handed me a receipt for .10 cent. The new receipt was for a bag that he forgot to charge me for. Then he handed me the $10.00 and said he was sorry. Sorry, really? How sorry would be at closeout when he added up all the $10.00 mistakes he made throughout the day and placed the overage in his pocket. Moral of this review, count your change before you leave the store and keep your eyes open for this scam. read more

UPDATE: I love the new look and you can tell the employees are much happier. I still do not use the pharmacy though so I can't comment on that. Overall nice improvement and I go there often. read more

Terribly slow. I'd rather eat char'd glass while standing in a disneyland line than try and buy anything there.

This is the worst pharmacy. They constantly make mistakes, never answer the phone, are very slow, and do not appear to be staffed appropriately. read more

This rite aid is awful. I went there to get my disposable camera developed. I was planning on taking it to Walgreens to get it developed but the worker at rite aid said it would only take 7-10 days so I decided to do it there. It has now been over 2 weeks and my pictures have still not developed. Had I known how inefficient they would have been, I would have just taken my camera to Walgreens to begin with. Safe to say I will not be coming back here any more once I actually get my photos read more

On Saturday (December 12, 2015), the pharmacist and the pharmacy technician refused to refill the prescription that they were refilling for ten months. They both said that the brand name on the prescription did not match the genetic version of the drug, and I need to go back to the doctor and get a new prescription. I said they have been refilling it for the last ten months, and the prescription didn't have any mark next to "Do not substitute," but they said "FDA does not allow them." They had the drugs on hand, and that was the reason why I began going there in the first place. I had to bring my prescription to someplace else and wait to be filled on Wednesday the following week. I thought they had to take Ethics course(s) to work in pharmacy. I do not like being lied to. read more

I'm writing this review ONLY for the pharmacy and my recent experience with the new pharmacist (Dr. Nima Hosseini). I've been in many retail pharmacies from independent to chain, however, my recent experience with Dr. Nima is exceptional. He is one the most enthusiastic and caring pharmacist I've ever seen. My daughter is a pharmacist at Rite Aid as well and I am aware of the volume of work a pharmacist has to face everyday. Dr. Nima put the time and care into every and each person comes to his pharmacy. I've been waiting in line to pick up my medication and observed how he handled every patient counseling, problems and concerns. Rite Aid should appreciate the hard work for these kind of pharmacists out there just like how they handle the complains from patients. Dr. Nima doesn't let any patient to leave Rite Aid disappointed and he finds a solution for his patients. He has done it for me multiple times and I've been a wittiness waiting in the line and observing him helping every patient. And at last no I'm not a family member or a friend of him and if I wanted to write an appreciation and compliment for a pharmacist I would have written one for my own daughter. I wrote this review about this amazing young pharmacist because I pick up my medications from this Rite Aid for myself and my diabetic son and my experience has been exceptional. read more

I think this store has recently been renovated. The store is really clean & I was able to get in and out very quickly.

The other afternoon I had gone down to my local rite aid. I have been a customer at this rite aid for the last 10 years. Although it is nice seeing familiar faces and knowing where everything is located in the pharmacy, people's faces change and the store regularly gets reorganized (as imagined for being such a long time customer). A young gentleman named Brandon has currently been assisting me as he is very familiar with the store, and has always been of great help to me. Although, a new manager has recently began working there. If my memory is correct, I believe his name is David. His patience toward me as a long time customer and local resident, was extremely looked down upon in my eyes. From his lack of knowing where product is located, to him leaving me to help other customers who had came after me, was not appreciated. Thank you to the past employees who have taken their time to help me, but my business will be taken elsewhere due to David's consistent lack of respect toward me. I will be seeing CVS soon. read more
