Our most recent experience was much better! We were sat immediately and server was there promptly. I think the server made the experience much better this time around. So props to him! Unfortunately I didn't get his name. The food was all delicious and all came out hot and fresh. We sat outside this time because the day was very nice and service was great. We both felt like we were well taken care of.

The service is friendly and helpful. I had the roasted beet salad with salmon lox. It was outstanding. My wife's fig burger was overcooked and there was no fig taste. But the fries were great. The ambience is similar to a French bistro. We would come again. The drinks were outstanding.

First time I've been to ritters since they opened years ago. Not by lack of trying, just so busy at times I couldn't get a seat. Today we are lucky enough to have a late lunch. We ordered a few items on the menu. As you can see, by the pictures. Atmosphere was amazing. Customer service was great. The food was delicious.I wasn't blown away by any means but it was solid!!! I very much like to come back. And try a few other things I've seen on the menu. Come check it out and please post some images and things that I should try that are must haves!!!

The bucket Bloody Mary didn't disappoint. It's filled with meats, cheeses and pickled vegetables.

Ritter's has an upscale yet casual environment. The menu offers a wide variety of apps, sandwich's and burgers. The cocktail is list is extensive. The service is good, the restaurant is clean.

I love the chill vibe and was very much the place for parties as there were two birthdays going on while we were there. The sound level wasn't crazy though. We squeaked in right at the end of happy hour and I'm so happy we did. The steak bites were soooooo good and to be able to get Gluten-free bread with them was lovely. My partner got a mini charcuterie broad and it was plenty of food for a light dinner. Also, had a pineapple upside down and it was great. Our server was so nice and attentive. Totally a place to try.

We only had cocktails but they were great and so was the ambience. Trendy but relaxed.

Nearby to our hotel (The Grand), Ritter's was very convenient. Nice spot, maybe a little too brightly lit inside to achieve a five-star ambiance, but ok. - Beer tap list is adequate but not exceptional. - The spirits list IS quite exceptional (separate menu - ask for it). I decided on a flight (three 3/4 oz shots) of Speyside single malt whiskys with my wife getting a double of Oban. While we knew the Oban would be top tier, the flighted whiskys were new to us. Weirdly, my order of preference came out opposite the order of aging for the three. - Smashburger: one of the better burgers I've had in recent years. Messy, large. The rosemary fries are excellent. Excellent service at the bar (you can order food from the barkeep directly - no need to go to the counter). No loud music.

Brick oven pizza amazing- even with gluten free cauliflower crust! The bartenders were so friendly and knowledgeable! Makes the best Bloody Mary's also with house made pickled onions on top of it with other condiments & bacon!-delicious! Impressive house-made soups - wish we could eat more for lunch and cannot wait to come back for dinner! The ambiance is lively beautiful and fun! Lots of windows with cathedral ceilings & upstairs loft makes the space open and exciting!

It's always busy here but definitely a downtown hotspot. I've taken several friends there. They've never had complaints.

You order at the counter and then you get a number to take with you and place at whichever seat you choose. Drinks and food both came out really quick. I tried the bees knees which had honey, lavender, rosemary and simple syrup with a dash of black pepper. I did not see nor taste the black pepper but I was a huge fan of this drink. It wasn't overpowering in any of the flavors and the rosemary sprig made it look so cute. I got the breakfast potato hash with no tomatoes and it was a delicious and filling breakfast. The potatoes were so good my group wouldn't stop helping themselves to them. I added some hot sauce as it was in the dryer side but still really good. I also tried the matcha coconut scone. It had a pretty matcha green color but it was hard to taste the matcha or coconut and it was quite dry. Service was quick and friendly. The inside is really beautiful and we couldn't help but do a little photoshoot, so many fun backgrounds! Things to note: Restroom shared with other businesses close by businesses and metered street parking only.

Food service can be rough, but when there's no one in line not giving someone at least 30 seconds to check out the menu is really frustrating. The coffee was pretty good, definitely worth going out for. I also really liked the peanut butter and jelly chia pudding. It was really filling and a perfect portion of protein/natural sugars before my workout. The seating area had a nice warmth to it on a sunny afternoon. The outdoor seating looked welcoming too.

We reserved on Tock, and it was mostly full on a Friday night. Drinks: lots of local beers are available, but I went with the Pineapple Express: she warned it was spicy, and it indeed was (in a really good way). All of the food is done family style: - Clams Galicia: with tomato, chorizo, bacon broth. This broth as amazing. I literally drank it with a spoon - Pan con tomate: slightly different from classic preparation - more flavorful and heavier on the toppings - Salmorejo: tomato and bread puree, Serrano, jammy egg - like a creamy gazpacho - Grilled asparagus: with whipped ricotta and a cured egg yolk - Squid ink pasta: with hazelnuts, caramelized onions, peppers, and a runny egg yolk, a bit spicy. This dish was my favorite - Honey brined pork chop with a basque piperade sauce The servers were all great about checking in. I would definitely recommend the squid ink pasta and the clams if you're in town!

Music was excellent; audible but not intrusive. Comfy chairs. Lower lighting, well placed. Service was excellent, friendly and fast. I think our server's name was Mikayla; a gem. Attentive and observant but never intrusive. Drinks: my old fashioned was absolutely perfect and my husband's margarita was fine. Appetizers: beer cheese was well balanced and a bit runny, which I prefer over the library paste version some places serve. The elotes dip was a standout, mildly spicy, with lime in the cilantro, and warm, crispy chips. (Whatever is in their seasoning for chips and fries should be sold separately -- I wanted to try it on everything.) We probably should have stopped there, as the portions were abundant, but our mains were amazing. Smash burger was insanely juicy, nice and onion-y with a few Crunchy Brown Bits around the edges. The roll was fresh and tender, with a good crust; flavorful, not just a shingle. The fries were the best I've had in Salem. Get the garlic-thyme upgrade; you won't regret it. My ribeye was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately they were out of both compound butters, apparently due to a busy Friday, but everything was well seasoned. The vegetable of the day was roasted Brussels sprouts with a sweet-and-salty sauce, almost like kettle corn; amazing. The outer leaves were caramelized without being burned, and the hearts were tender but not mushy. Crispy fried onions were perfect. Fried potatoes were fine, and enriched by their placement between the steak and the sprouts. The diners who came in before us were all smiles when they left, so it wasn't a fluke.
