Came here for a rehearsal brunch yesterday before my brother's wedding. It was incredible. Loved the interior of the restaurant -- def a good spot for a date in downtown Pitt. The menu was simple but elaborate o got the breakfast sandwich with a side of fruit and the sandwich was incredible -- eggs with smoked Gouda and ham (though I wish I knew turkey was an option as I prefer turkey over ham!) but still a good sandwich. The deviled eggs were also great! If I'm in the area again I'd come here for sure.

We had a lovely time at Ritual House for brunch. The vibe was very trendy and it has a fun, colorful ambiance. The food we had was very good. We got the lemon and blueberry pancakes and also the featured tater tot waffle with eggs. Our waitress Emily was very attentive and made us feel special by bringing us a celebration surprise for our anniversary. There were two things that surprised me that make me hesitate to give it a 5-star rating. When we first got there, the two hostesses didn't really welcome us. One was texting and the other one seemed annoyed that we walked in. The other thing was I asked if I could make a modification in one of the cocktails, but was told it was a batch mix. I decided to order something different instead. Unfortunately, the cocktails didn't reach our table until our food arrived, so I was shocked that batched cocktails took so long.

Ritual house was a wonderful experience today! Some friends and I went for brunch and everything was a vibe: loved the design and decor, the food was delicious, and our server, Sky, was great! I ordered the chicken and waffle which was no frills (just the way I like it). The chicken was juicy and the waffle was excellent. My only suggestion is to not include as much syrup on the waffle (it was drowning) and maybe add some on the side instead. The cold brew was excellent and I loved the vanilla syrup. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food too. I would absolutely go back!

I've been waiting to eat at Ritual House for quite some time now. Brunch was a must and I truly enjoyed all of the dishes that we ordered. The restaurant itself is beautiful, however I will say that they sat us immediately near the door and the photo space where the swings are. This meant that everyone who wanted a picture were inches from our table which made it uncomfortable. If I return, I will definitely request to sit in the back which looked gorgeous, but far from where we were. Our server was wonderful and the valet was a perk. Other than the space issue, I truly enjoyed my meal.

The entire place is so darn cute and picture worthy, the decor is on point! We were able to easily get a reservation and were seated right away. Our server had a trainee with them and both of them were fantastic, so nice and helpful. We both started with the lavender lemon drop mocktails, which were both delish. My only complaint is the weird lavender gem-like hard candy that they use as decor on a stick. Makes you think it's edible which it didn't taste like anything at all and didn't dissolve so I'm not quite sure about that one. It was super cute too. We started with the French onion soup which I would definitely order again. The depth of flavor was insane and you don't get that with many onion soups. It came out right away. We decided to split the Asian fried chicken and luckily we did bc it was enough to feed us both. They were awesome and split it in the kitchen without us even asking. It was delicious! Crunchy, the Asian sauce on the bottom of the plate was flavorful, the slaw on the side was awesome to eat with each bite. My silly complaint here is the knives they give you are terrible. Get new knives!!! We also ordered truffle fries which were good but I've had better. They would have been nicer a little crispier and maybe a little seasonings. It had Parmesan and truffle obviously but idk it just needed something. We also ordered tiramisu and the mocha latte cup. Tiramisu was lacking, no coffee flavor. That mocha latte cup though OMG! It had this mousse inside that was incredible and it was so cute looking like a little latte cup! They were tremendous and boxed everything up for us as well. I felt like we didn't even need to lift a finger. The manager also came over and asked us how everything was at one point which was nice.

We had an event in their private space that's tucked away behind the hallway upstairs with the bathrooms. The room itself was spacious and we had four tables with 5-6 people each. I enjoyed the lovely details like the etching on the tables and the silverware. There is a TV to project a presentation and there was a speaker although it was unnecessary. The food came out at a good pace and it was all pretty good in general. People were especially impressed by the presentation of the desserts!

This is a go to brunch spot especially when seeing a Sunday Matinee! Not many places in the city do bottomless anymore and what can I say I love that option HAHA. No pictures of the mimosas but what I love about theirs is you get to mix the ratio yourself. Perfect for the people who love a whisper of juice with their champagne. (It's me, I'm people) Now for the food, we ordered a table pancake (Coffee Crumb Cake), Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, and Avocado Toast. The pancake was good I wish it had more of the coffee cake flavor throughout though, it was only on the top of the pancake. The sausage gravy and biscuits was for sure my favorite thing. You can pick your eggs to be any way, I chose cheesey scrambled and they were perfect! The potato's were so flavorful I didn't need any sort of sauce for them. Normally I stay away from avocado toast on a menu just because it's usually not worth the price to me. This one was on focaccia and came with 2 poached eggs on top so this is an exception to my rule! So good the eggs were poached to perfection! Side salads I can take or leave but this was a nice accompaniment lol.

This is a must go to restaurant while in Pittsburgh. My husband and I had an amazing dinner that will not be soon forgotten. We had reservations and sat at a great table in the third floor. I ordered a fun mocktail that reminded me of a Pink Drink from Starbucks and my husband picked a drink of the month. We ordered the salmon and lobster and crab Mac and cheese...both were dreamworthy!!! We also got the famous strawberry pretzel salad with the cotton candy and sparkler. Everything we had was wonderful and we can not wait to try another menu soon!

Ava made our experience special. Even with all of the brilliant colors and lighting to enhance the surroundings of our birthday dinner it will be her thoughtfulness and proficiency that completed the experience. Even though the restaurant was full our appetizers and well plated main courses were served with perfect timing. We were given ample time to enjoy our meal through dessert and then some. I do wonder however how such a finely run establishment thinks seating six at a round table with a deep and very low L-shaped bench on two sides could possibly work out. At 6'-2" I had to sit on two cushions to be high enough above the table to comfortably eat. Even then I had at least eighteen inches between me and the back of the bench. If I was seated elsewhere this would be a five but I just can't overlook the inappropriateness of this use of space. Replace the benches. They are all wrong even if used for a party of four.

Flew in late and saw ritual house was close to hotel. Phoned in an order and walked over. Went with the cavatappi with grilled chicken and a crème brûlée. Walked to the bar to pick up my order. Friendly service at the door guided me there. Couple floors with chill vibes. Very cool spot. The cavatappi was delicious and the crème brûlée stole the show. Very big portions!

Great gluten free options on their menu Had the deviled eggs, flatbread (it's g/f), bisque & onion soup - ong they were just so yummy Surprisingly the flatbread by far was our favorite - it was really fresh tasting, the crust was delicious - it was perfect The eggs were pretty & yummy The bisque presentation was really nice, the flavor was intense The onion soup was so good - ooey, gooey cheese, the broth was so flavorful & the onion & g/f crouton were gooood Go, enjoy

Stopped in here for the first time on Easter Sunday for brunch. We got seated pretty quick and the restaurant was very clean and service was very good. I got the money Cristo sandwich which was pretty decent, but not great. I probably would not get that sandwich again, but everything else on my visit was just fine.

Food was a 100000/10 for flavor and quality. The drinks were incredible, our server was so great! All around great experience!! The wagyu ragu was unbelievable, lighter than expected thankfully.

Ask the Community - Ritual House

Is there valet parking or a nearby garage?

They do have valet parking. A close garage is 350 Oliver, just a couple blocks away and I believe they still have a very reasonable evening and weekend late around four dollars!

Is there a required attire for brunch?

I was there in a sweatshirt and yoga pants last Saturday, so hopefully not!

    Not clear about Dinner?

The food was ok but overpriced. There are many other better restaurants in pittsburgh.

We sat outside, which was first come first serve. It took awhile for anyone to approach us but I was in the restaurant industry for some time so I surely realize it happens for many reasons ! My friend ordered two speciality drinks which we were then told they didn't have the ingredients to make those cocktails...Okay - it happens no problem . We then ordered food from the brunch menu ( also out of the first item we asked for , there are only about 6-7 items on that limited menu). We asked if the regular menu would be available that day and we were told "no not on Sunday's." We proceeded to order and consume the hot honey chicken and waffles( good but not much of a hot honey taste and be aware it's BONE IN chicken), French toast with berries ( delicious ), and the shrimp and grits (made to perfection). I ordered the Texas medicine beverage , which was exquisite! (Tequila cocktail, Pictured). We also had the Petal and Pearl , gin and procecco cocktail ,not pictured but very good as well. After we ate, we moved to the bar to grab one last beverage. Again, it took quite some time for someone to approach us, which was odd because many of the girls were making eye contact but walking by us. Finally a gentleman with curly hair came over to take our orders - thank you. We noticed people at the bar were eating wings and food that was not listed on the brunch menu. When I asked how they ordered that, they said the regular menu starts at 3 on Sundays! We were extremely disappointed our original server did not tell us this nor was enlightened that the menu was released at a later time on Sundays. Concerning. It was nice to sit on a roof top in Pittsburgh on a sunny day. They have the atmosphere done with perfection. The food seemed delectable and the beverages done with beautiful presentations. I really hope to give this place another chance and revise my review !

I've heard so many mixed things that I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed every aspect of my experience. It kind of has dive bar vibes but the food and drink options are definitely on the elevated side. They open at 4 on Sundays and I got there around 4:15. It was already pretty busy (and by the time I was leaving, every single table and bar stool were occupied). They have standard booth seats along the windows, hightop tables in the middle and bar seating along the bar that curves along the back of the restaurant. I chose to sit at the bar since I was by myself. I was promptly greeted by the bartender. They don't hand you copies of the menu, you have to scan the QR code to access. It is easy to read and follow with sections for drinks, specials (this time they were Wicked themed as a nod to the show at the Benedum) and a sushi section. I ordered the street corn dip. The chips were a bit overcooked and the dip was just OK. I thought it was pricey for what you got. The star of my meal, though, was the patty melt. It had the burger, a bacon jam, caramelized onions and was absolutely delicious! It was served with fries. I considered ordering sushi but wasn't sure what to expect. The patrons sitting on either side of my ordered rolls and they were a nice size and looked delicious, so that is something I would consider ordering in the future. It was a place I'll likely be back to because of the proximity to the theater (although their prices definitely reflect that). Just note how crowded it always is and give yourself plenty of time if you plan on heading here for dinner before the show.
