BBQ Chicken Pizza

Food is great and daily happy hour specials are even better! Outdoor seating and friend servers and bar tenders. Cant go wrong with the BBQ chicken pizza!!

Great place to grab a quick snack at after you go to the top of the Duquesne incline! Service was quick and friendly. You can sit on the second level and see an overlook of the city. The shrimp were nicely breaded and the sauce was very good. They have a variety of specialty cocktails. I had the pomegranate mule which was strong and tasted good. Very good deals for happy hour!

My fiancé and I were meeting friends in Mount Washington for drinks and decided to come to Steel Mill Saloon for food beforehand - and my oh my am I happy we did I had the sugar cookie martini and it was adorable and tasted amazing! Highly recommend! The server told me it's their least ordered cocktail, which I was shocked to hear! Get it people! You'll love it! For dinner I got the southwest bowl (I think that's what it is called) and it was amazing! Rice, black beans, cabbage, carrots, avocado, and a super spicy aioli! Highly recommend! It was filling and had such great textures and tasted amazing! The sauce is super spicy so I would probably get less of it next time. My fiancé got Buffalo pierogies that he said were awesome and boneless wings that he said tasted good but were a touch overdone. When we first walked in, there weren't many people there but that changed in a split second and it was super busy! You can make reservations but we didn't! It's an awesome spot to watch sporting events.

Wonderful views. Delicious brews. Had some Bloodys and beers with some really fresh salads. Service was on point. Highly recommended if you are visiting the incline.

Views are unparalleled and the service was alright! We had asked to sit on the second level with the views when no one else was up there so it made sense that we got a little less attention up there. The food was alright, it was what you'd expect from a standard bar.

If you're looking for a quick bite across from the Duquesne Incline station, then I would suggest this place. Food was good, especially the fish sandwich and fries. As for the service, it wasn't bad. The gentleman greeting us was friendly and waitress was attentive.

Very beautiful restaurant with great views on the second floor, we got sat at a window seat and the staff were very sweet and friendly. The food was fine, not very impressive. I had the soup of the day (loaded baled potato) and it was good. The bbq chicken Gouda pizza was very dry, not enough bbq sauce. Our cocktail was pretty good though!

I stopped in a couple weeks ago to have a nice cold IPA on a super hot day after showing my gf one of my favorite places in the city for the first time, the Duquesne incline observation deck. I always try to stop in here and enjoy a refreshment while on the hill checking out the views or before and/or after having dinner at one of the many great restaurants on Mt. Washington. It's a great little spot with good food, great drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere. The service wasn't that great on the day we went, but I get it the hill was packed with many wedding parties it seems and I know how those people can take a toll on you. Either way, I've had many great experiences here and I recommend it no matter what.

I really enjoyed the location of this "saloon". The service was good and accommodating. The drinks were good but the food was subpar. I'd visit again for the drinks and if I had a window view.

Big fan! Solid bar food, good atmosphere, good prices! Don't expect anything super fancy, that isn't the vibe here. Great for a quick bite.

We sat outside, which was first come first serve. It took awhile for anyone to approach us but I was in the restaurant industry for some time so I surely realize it happens for many reasons ! My friend ordered two speciality drinks which we were then told they didn't have the ingredients to make those cocktails...Okay - it happens no problem . We then ordered food from the brunch menu ( also out of the first item we asked for , there are only about 6-7 items on that limited menu). We asked if the regular menu would be available that day and we were told "no not on Sunday's." We proceeded to order and consume the hot honey chicken and waffles( good but not much of a hot honey taste and be aware it's BONE IN chicken), French toast with berries ( delicious ), and the shrimp and grits (made to perfection). I ordered the Texas medicine beverage , which was exquisite! (Tequila cocktail, Pictured). We also had the Petal and Pearl , gin and procecco cocktail ,not pictured but very good as well. After we ate, we moved to the bar to grab one last beverage. Again, it took quite some time for someone to approach us, which was odd because many of the girls were making eye contact but walking by us. Finally a gentleman with curly hair came over to take our orders - thank you. We noticed people at the bar were eating wings and food that was not listed on the brunch menu. When I asked how they ordered that, they said the regular menu starts at 3 on Sundays! We were extremely disappointed our original server did not tell us this nor was enlightened that the menu was released at a later time on Sundays. Concerning. It was nice to sit on a roof top in Pittsburgh on a sunny day. They have the atmosphere done with perfection. The food seemed delectable and the beverages done with beautiful presentations. I really hope to give this place another chance and revise my review !

I've heard so many mixed things that I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed every aspect of my experience. It kind of has dive bar vibes but the food and drink options are definitely on the elevated side. They open at 4 on Sundays and I got there around 4:15. It was already pretty busy (and by the time I was leaving, every single table and bar stool were occupied). They have standard booth seats along the windows, hightop tables in the middle and bar seating along the bar that curves along the back of the restaurant. I chose to sit at the bar since I was by myself. I was promptly greeted by the bartender. They don't hand you copies of the menu, you have to scan the QR code to access. It is easy to read and follow with sections for drinks, specials (this time they were Wicked themed as a nod to the show at the Benedum) and a sushi section. I ordered the street corn dip. The chips were a bit overcooked and the dip was just OK. I thought it was pricey for what you got. The star of my meal, though, was the patty melt. It had the burger, a bacon jam, caramelized onions and was absolutely delicious! It was served with fries. I considered ordering sushi but wasn't sure what to expect. The patrons sitting on either side of my ordered rolls and they were a nice size and looked delicious, so that is something I would consider ordering in the future. It was a place I'll likely be back to because of the proximity to the theater (although their prices definitely reflect that). Just note how crowded it always is and give yourself plenty of time if you plan on heading here for dinner before the show.

The atmosphere alone is worth a visit. The drinks are definitely crafted with care and have a lot of complexity, but with only two bartenders working, it took quite a while to get ours. Not the place to go if you want quick service or are grabbing a drink before another event. My biggest downside is the price point--most cocktails are around $17. They're good, but at that price I can really only justify having one. Note: They do not have food, just snacks like peanuts. Thankfully nothing is overly gory or too creepy. To avoid a line, it is best to go right at opening or about an hour before it closes. One thing is that they can (and often do) search your bag to make sure you don't steal the glassware. Sad that they need to so that, but I guess I understand why they need to check.
