    We came as a big group for dim sum, they have a great selection of dim sum as well as classic Cantonese dishes. Service is like your typical Cantonese restaurant, minimal English but they get the work done; they serve dim sum daily until 3pm, then it's time for dinner dishes, also works as a Chinese banquet hall for events.

    Speedy service, the staff are friendly and attentive. My favourite dish was the siu mai, it was juicy and filled with lots of pork. The restaurant is clean and open with plenty of seating.

    Always ordered the CNY poon choi with lobster for takeout, and this year is no exception lol. The pot comes with 12 items, plus ~3lbs of lobster in maggi sauce on the side. Very hearty and delicious! Once you take it home, you can heat it over a portable stove like we did, and then return the pot back to the restaurant when done.

    Hidden gem for nostalgic Cantonese dim sum Had a fantastic lunch at Ritzy Palace Chinese Cuisine . They still make rare, nearly-lost traditional dim sum with great skill. Quail egg siu mai - juicy pork filling wrapped around a whole quail egg. The egg yolk adds a rich, savory depth you won't find in regular siu mai. Chicken zha (steamed chicken roll) - tofu skin rolls stuffed with tender chicken, taro, fish maw, and ham. The taro soaks up all the juices - pure comfort. Lotus seed baked pudding - caramelized top, silky lotus seed paste inside with a hint of salted egg yolk. A true old‑school teahouse dessert. Giant "dai bao" - almost extinct elsewhere. Soft fluffy bun filled with chicken, pork, shiitake, half an egg, and a touch of lap cheong (waxed sausage). The bun soaks up the savory filling - childhood memories in every bite. Beef offal - super tender tripe, lung, and intestines, stewed in a rich master stock with sweet radish. No gamey taste, very authentic cart‑style flavor. Egg san (deep‑fried egg twist) - coming back next time. This crispy, malty treat is rarely made anymore. Everything steamed fresh to order, friendly service, clean environment. If you miss the old Hong Kong tea house flavors, support this place before these dishes disappear. Will definitely return!

    We had an ok dinner here. The restaurant was quite busy which was a good sign. We ordered a set meal and expected to receive typical service and food that Won would expect. Unfortunately, this restaurant is disorganized and mismanaged. They forgot to cook rice. And they forgot one of our dishes and took an extra 45 minutes at the end to wait for it. We told him it was too long and wanted to cancel, but they insisted. Overall not a great experience. Judging from the other reviews, this place is not up to par with most restaurants in the area.

    Visited Ritzy Palace for a family dinner. We ordered the set menu which came with lobster, fried rice, sweet and sour pork, Peking duck, and two vegetables dishes. Although there wasn't anything that stood out from the dishes, all were quite tasty and had that comforting Chinese cuisine taste I was craving. Service was quick and we didn't have to wait to get a table for 4.

( Refer to dim sum sheet photo) Craving for some dim sum with the fam. 930-11am early bird dim sum special all S/M/L$ 5.20. only 1 small item rest were M/L MP/XL confusingly they put dollar amount on some dim sum where they can just make it fall under one for the size categories which makes it more confusing to order and were not part of early bird pricing. Limits the choices for the special. Got a bunch of food quality wise good quantity ok but not outstanding. Rice rolls I found a bit thick. Favorite was short ribs that were crispy and glistened with honey for $13 it's not that many pieces. Har gaw, sui mai decent, egg tarts fluffy puff pastry shell was good. See other photos for food references. Went on a weekday 10am still a lot of tables available no waiting and still pretty busy but not full. Can't say how it is for weekends. Dim sum places are always loud. Have to wave a server to add items or get the bill( which so normal). Lunch they had business set lunch menus pretty good prices. After 11am there was a promo BBQ sweet and sour pork for 5.99. it was pretty good size those not as crispy and more on that sweet side lacked the peppers onions and pineapple very little for color contrast presentation. Also have a few items half price promo ( see photo.for reference). Ended up spending with tip $100 for 5 and a bit of left overs. Free parking in the plaza shared with Scotiabank and other stores.

    All S/M/L dishes are only $4.90 before 11am, Monday to Sunday! They have a pretty decent selection of dishes specific to this deal and everything was deliscious. Theres not many places that have auch a great deal like this , especially including weekends. The whole family enjoyed all the food and had a great time. If you plan to dine here on the weekends, we suggest to arrive early as a line up forms before the restaurant even opens.

    We came shortly after 9am and we're seated quickly. Service was quick and our dim sum was served hot and fresh! Everything was a good portion or size. Monday to Sunday if you place order before 11am, $4.99 for S, M and L dim sum. Parking available in lot.

    Ritzy Palace Chinese Cuisine is located in the same strip mall as Scotia Bank and Clipindale Salon with plenty of parking. My husband and I came here for dinner 2 weeks ago to meet with one of my aunts and cousins. My aunt picked this restaurant because this is one of her favorite places to dine at. She actually comes here nearly every day for dim sum (my late uncle liked to have dim sum every day and this was one of the places they frequented). We arrived on a Wednesday, right before 7 pm. My aunt and 2 of my cousins were already seated at a table. My aunt decided to order one of the special combination meals, which was the Duck & Lobster Combo. This meal combo comes with the following: -Peking Duck in two meals: We had one dish of peking duck thinly sliced and then another with duck breast, etc. We also had a side of those thin sliced tortillas, sliced carrots, onions and hoisin sauce. The duck was delicious and perfectly made. -Stir Fried Lobster: A whole lobster stir fried in typical Chinese style fashion. It was cut up and seasoned accordingly. It was also delicious. -Sautéed Squid & Shrimp: I liked that this dish had some vegetables. The squid and shrimp was tender and the sauce used was good. -Sweet & Sour Pork w/ Pineapple: The pork was also tender and I liked the flavor of the sweet and sour sauce. -Fried Rice w/ Lobster Paste & Seafood: The rice was served at the end. The fried rice was pretty good too. --------------------------- (Total= $168 prior to tax) Typical Chinese banquet food, everything was delicious. We had our plates changed out a few times during the course of our meal. The employees and manager that came to our table were very attentive. But I believe because my aunt comes to this restaurant almost daily (she is retired) to eat, I think she is considered a VIP customer. And because of that, the manager brought out a few desserts on the house for us, which included a fried milk dish, mango jello squares and almond cookies. The manager also wanted to bring out snow fungus dessert soup, but we told the manager no because we were all very full and couldn't take these leftovers back home with us. Overall, we had an excellent dining experience and know that if we did not come with my family, its possible our experience would have been different (although I am not sure if I would have picked this restaurant on my own, while visiting Canada). I would be interested in coming back for dim sum with my aunt the next time I visit (she actually did try to invite us to come earlier in the week but we just didn't have time to go with her).

    Came between people leaving early dim sum and arriving for lunch, so it was a short wait. I can't say anything about consistency because we haven't been here in years, but food quality was fine. They have to compete with Lobster Port and Lucky Seafood House so prices are still relatively cheap.

    First time coming to Ritzy, it was somewhat busy on a Friday afternoon. The host and waitresses were very friendly. I did have a table reserved, but I still had to wait about 15-20 minutes. Food was actually decent. Most dishes were okay, my favourite dish had to be the deep fried glutinous rice ball with salted egg yolk inside. Price wise was decent. Not too pricey like other places. I believe they have an early bird special if you go and have your order taken before 11am.

The remains of the duck were used for make a duck fried rice and duck soup, again both were amazing. It takes a certain skill to make fried rice cleanly without an excessive oily coating on each grain of rice. This was one of the best fried rices I've ever had! I specifically asked the server to make sure the pork was crispy, but it arrived soft and lumpy rather than light and crunchy. Even the complimentary red bean dessert soup was watery and lacked flavor. Our bill came to about $104 for two people. For the quality of the food, I didn't feel it offered good value. Sadly, after several disappointing visits, I don't think we'll be returning.

She said thanks right back. I put my food in my insulated bag. With the leak, I managed to launder the Fantuan bag and clean my insulated bag. After I cleaned up, I had dinner at home. The food was amazing and filling! I loved the shredded potato salad. Sure, a lot of the sesame-soy sauce was gone. However, it tasted yummy. It was worth the cent! The steamed pork and chive dumplings were so good. I didn't dunk them in soy sauce. The filling had so much moisture that I felt like I was eating soup dumplings. They were generous with the amount of beef and was well marinated. The cut wasn't that great, but that is to be expected. I don't think they added much MSG or at least used good quality ones, as we did not feel overly thirsty later in the evening. They give free daily soup and dessert. What we were most impressive was with the service. The waiters were very attentive, changing our plates twice during our 1ish hour meal. The also gave us wet wipes and more napkins without us requesting it. They even offered us additional soup, which we declined as we were quite full.

The individual New Century slow boiled soup is hardest to share but secure some empty bowls and you can divide the hefty portion. In the winter, there's a silkiness to the piping hot consommé that sooths a dry throat and has an umami essence infused with abalone, ginseng, and pork. There's plenty to choose from in the house signature combo platter including roasted duck, soy sauce chicken, BBQ pork, pork slices, and seaweed salad. Saving my stomach for the later dishes, I had a taste of the duck (a good start with crispy skin) and BBQ pork (satisfactory and well flavoured). With the generous portion of chicken in the combo platter, the slow cooked chicken with abalone broth seemed like overkill. I've never been a huge fan of this dish that's served cold since I prefer chicken hot. Still, I understand it's the jelly layer between the skin and meat that people enjoy. And to be fair, the chicken was tender, and New Century certainly didn't skimp on the ginger and scallion oil. For those who tend to fill-up before the "main dishes", the stars of the combo arrive mid-meal. The stir-fried Vancouver crabs with silver fish in HK style spicy sauce needs to be eaten at arrival as the crunchy coating is best straight from the fryer. And despite not looking spicy, the dish has a light heat that permeates in the background. Additionally, the crab was fresh and meaty, cooked well so it remained delicately flakey. The amount of sweet and sticky sauce used in the stir-fried lobsters with scallion in Maggie sauce was well balanced, lightly covering the crustaceans. Both lobsters were substantial; even after eating many pieces, we still had plenty of leftovers. This is a long review head to Gastro World for the rest.

They have different special offers each day from Monday to Friday. We ordered the special Linyi Style Stir Fried Chicken on Friday. And we also ordered Boiled Basa Fish with pickled Cabbage & Green Pepper. They were pretty traditional Chinese styles. The white rice or brown rice both can have as much as we could. That's good for men. We both like here, but they don't offer specials during the weekends. But they do have other special packages, just a bit different. And they also have the membership that we could collect points and then we could use the points to get drinks or different snacks or dishes.

Often times people kept brushing up against my chair while getting up to go get their rounds of rice. Although not a deal breaker, was annoying while trying to enjoy your food. The portions are big enough for 2 if you get a large, but since it was our first time we wanted to try 2 different soups. Here's what we got: Chicken wings 4/5 - Came out raw the first time after we bit into it. But quickly flagged a server to let them know how this issue. They brought us a new one shortly after that was perfectly cooked, juicy and crispy on the outside. Laotan boiled fish with pickled cabbage and chili 4/5 - Their number one classic so we had to try. It's sour and spicy with the right amount of kick to it. Basa fish filets were also tasty. Came out luke warm. Princess's tomato fish 4/5 - Packed with tomato flavour. Savoury and paired well with the basa fish filet. Came with bean curd noodles as well. Came out luke warm. Easily would be a five star review if both soups that we got came out piping hot rather than lukewarm. Regardless, a great spot for a quick in and out meal.

Dining style and dishes are all family style. You order a couple of dishes and then add rice. Spice level can be adjusted and even at 'less' the heat level was high. Definitely generous use of Szechwan peppercorns! Food is very flavourful and depending on preference some might find the oil level high. The clientele is mainly Mandarin speaking and if you are Asian they will immediately communicate in Mandarin with you but I did see the staff switch to English where needed.
