The shrimp and grits had too many ingredients, but that's because we didn't read what it had. We thought it was the traditional shrimp and grits, so technically we didn't like it because it had more things than we wanted. Despite everything--the excessive wait, undercooked food, and having to send a meal back--we were still charged in full and weren't offered any type of discount or adjustment to our bill. Unfortunately, it got worse after we left. Multiple people in our group, including myself, began vomiting and feeling sick after eating here. I can't say for certain what caused it, but several of us becoming sick afterward is extremely concerning. We were excited to try Benedict on Cary, but spending two hours dealing with long waits and poorly prepared food, paying full price, and then ending the day sick was beyond disappointing.
